Jonah 2
1 Then Ionah prayed vnto the Lord his God out of the fishes belly,
Daga ciki cikin kifi, Yunana ya yi addu’a ga Ubangiji Allahnsa.
2 And said, I cryed in mine affliction vnto the Lord, and he heard me: out of the bellie of hell cryed I, and thou heardest my voyce. (Sheol h7585)
Ya ce, “A cikin damuwata na yi kira ga Ubangiji, ya kuwa amsa mini. Daga cikin zurfi kabari na yi kiran neman taimako, ka kuwa saurari kukata. (Sheol h7585)
3 For thou haddest cast me into the bottome in the middes of the sea, and the floods compassed me about: all thy surges, and all thy waues passed ouer me.
Cikin tashin hankali, ka jefa ni cikin zurfafa, a tsakiyar teku, ka kuma jujjuya ni a cikin ruwa; dukan raƙuman ruwanka da ambaliyarka sun bi ta kaina.
4 Then I saide, I am cast away out of thy sight: yet will I looke againe towarde thine holy Temple.
Sai na ce, ‘An kore ni daga fuskarka; duk da haka zan sāke duba wajen haikalinka mai tsarki.’
5 The waters compassed me about vnto the soule: the depth closed me rounde about, and the weedes were wrapt about mine head.
Ruwayen da suke kewaye da ni sun yi mini barazana, zurfi kuma ya kewaye ni, ciyayin ruwa suna nannaɗe kewaye da ni.
6 I went downe to the bottome of the moutaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer, yet hast thou brought vp my life from the pit, O Lord my God.
Na nutsa har ƙarƙashin tuddai; a ƙarƙashin duniya, ka rufe ni har abada. Amma ka dawo da raina daga rami, Ya Ubangiji Allahna.
7 When my soule fainted within me, I remembred the Lord: and my prayer came vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.
“Sa’ad da na ji raina yana rabuwa da ni, na tuna da kai ya Ubangiji, addu’ata kuma ta kai gare ka, a haikalinka mai tsarki.
8 They that waite vpon lying vanities, forsake their owne mercie.
“Waɗanda suka maƙale wa gumaka marasa amfani, sukan ƙyale alherin da zai kasance nasu.
9 But I will sacrifice vnto thee with the voice of thankesgiuing, and will pay that that I haue vowed: saluation is of the Lord.
Amma ni, da waƙar godiya, zan miƙa tawa hadaya gare ka. Abin da na yi alkawari, shi ne zan yi. Ceto yakan zo ne kawai daga wurin Ubangiji.”
10 And the Lord spake vnto the fish, and it cast out Ionah vpon the dry lande.
Sai Ubangiji ya umarci kifin, kifin kuwa ya amayar da Yunana a gaɓan teku.
