John 9
1 And as Iesus passed by, he sawe a man which was blinde from his birth.
येशू त्यही बाटो हुँदै जानुहुँदा जन्मैदेखिको एक जना मानिसलाई देख्नुभयो ।
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sinne, this man, or his parents, that he was borne blinde?
उहाँका चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई सोधे, “रब्बी, यो मानिस, कि यसका आमाबुबा कसले पाप गर्यो र यो अन्धो जन्मिएको?”
3 Iesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents, but that the workes of God should be shewed on him.
येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “न त यो मानिसले पाप गर्यो, न यसका आमाबुबाले नै पाप गरे, तर परमेश्वरको काम त्यसमा प्रकट होस् भनेर यसो भएको हो ।
4 I must worke the workes of him that sent me, while it is day: the night commeth when no man can worke.
मलाई पठाउनुहुनेका कामहरू हामीले दिन हुँदै गर्नुपर्छ । रात आउँदै छ, तब कसैले पनि काम गर्न सक्दैन ।
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
म संसारमा हुँदा म संसारको ज्योति हुँ ।”
6 Assoone as he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spettle, and anointed the eyes of the blinde with the clay,
येशूले यी कुराहरू भनिसक्नुभएपछि उहाँले भुइँमा थुक्नुभयो र थुकले माटो मुछ्नुभयो, अनि त्यसको आँखामा पोतिदिनुभयो ।
7 And sayd vnto him, Go wash in the poole of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came againe seeing.
उहाँले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, “जाऊ, सिलोआमको तलाउमा धोऊ (जसको अर्थ हुन्छ, ‘पठाइएको ।’) । त्यसैले त्यो गयो, धोयो र देख्ने भएर आयो ।
8 Nowe the neighbours and they that had seene him before, when he was blinde, sayd, Is not this he that sate and begged?
त्यसपछि त्यसका छिमेकीहरू र त्यसलाई पहिला भिखारीको रूपमा देख्नेहरूले भने, “त्यो बसेर भिख माग्ने गर्ने के यही नै होइन?”
9 Some said, This is he: and other sayd, He is like him: but he himselfe sayd, I am he.
केहीले भने, “यही हो ।” अरूहरूले भने, “होइन, यो त्यहीजस्तो देखिन्छ ।” तर त्यसले भन्यो, “म त्यही हुँ ।”
10 Therefore they sayd vnto him, Howe were thine eyes opened?
तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई भने, “अनि तिम्रा आँखा कसरी खोलिए त?”
11 He answered, and sayd, The man that is called Iesus, made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and sayde vnto me, Goe to the poole of Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and receiued sight.
त्यसले जवाफ दियो, “येशू भनिने मानिसले माटो मुछ्नुभयो, मेरो आँखामा पोतिदिनुभयो र मलाई भन्नुभयो ‘सिलोआममा जाऊ र धोऊ ।’ त्यसकारण म गएँ र धोएँ अनि मैले मेरो दृष्टि पाएँ ।”
12 Then they sayd vnto him, Where is he? He sayd, I can not tell.
तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई भने, “उनी कहाँ छन्?” उसले जवाफ दियो, “मलाई थाहा छैन ।”
13 They brought to the Pharises him that was once blinde.
तिनीहरूले पहिले अन्धो भएको त्यो मानिसलाई फरिसीहरूकहाँ ल्याए ।
14 And it was the Sabbath day, when Iesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
येशूले माटो मुछेर त्यसको आँखामा खोल्नुभएको दिन विश्रामको दिन थियो ।
15 Then againe the Pharises also asked him, how he had receiued sight. And hee sayd vnto them, He layd clay vpon mine eyes, and I washed, and doe see.
तब त्यसले त्यसका दृष्टि कसरी प्राप्त गरेका थिए भनी फरिसीहरूले फेरि सोधे? त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “उहाँले मेरा आँखामा हिलो लगाई दिनुभयो, मैले धोएँ र अहिले म देख्न सक्छु ।”
16 Then said some of the Pharises, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the Sabbath day. Others sayd, Howe can a man that is a sinner, doe such miracles? and there was a dissension among them.
केही फरिसीहरूले भने, “यो मानिस परमेश्वरबाट आएको होइन, किनकि यसले विश्राम दिन पालना गर्दैन ।” अरूहरूले भने, “एउटा पापी मानिसले यस्ता चिह्नहरू कसरी गर्न सक्छ?” त्यसैले, तिनीहरूका बिचमा विभाजन आयो ।
17 Then spake they vnto the blinde againe, What sayest thou of him, because he hath opened thine eyes? And he sayd, He is a Prophet.
त्यसकारण, तिनीहरूले त्यो अन्धो मानिसलाई फेरि सोधे, “उसको विषयमा तिमी के भन्छौ, किनकि उसले तिम्रा आँखा खोलिदियो?” अन्धो मानिसले भन्यो, “उहाँ एक अगमवक्ता हुनुहुन्छ ।”
18 Then the Iewes did not beleeue him (that he had bene blinde, and receiued his sight) vntill they had called the parents of him that had receiued sight.
यहूदीहरूले आफ्नो दृष्टि प्राप्त गर्नेका आमाबुबालाई नबोलाएसम्म त्यो अन्धो थियो, र त्यसले दृष्टि प्राप्त गरेको थियो भन्ने तिनीहरूले अझै विश्वास गरेनन् ।
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your sonne, whom ye say was borne blinde? How doeth he nowe see then?
तिनीहरूले आमाबुबालाई सोधे, “तिमीहरूले जन्मिँदै अन्धो थियो भनेका तिमीहरूका छोरो के यही हो? अनि अहिले यसले कसरी देख्छ त?”
20 His parents answered them, and sayd, We know that this is our sonne, and that he was borne blinde:
त्यसैले, त्यसका आमाबुबाले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिए, “यो हाम्रो छोरो हो, र यो जन्मिँदै अन्धो थियो भनी हामी जान्दछौँ ।
21 But by what meanes hee nowe seeth, we know not: or who hath opened his eyes, can we not tell: he is olde ynough: aske him: hee shall answere for himselfe.
अहिले यसले कसरी देख्छ, हामी जान्दैनौँ, र यसका आँखा कसले खोलिदियो सो पनि हामी जन्दैनौँ । यसैलाई सोध्नुहोस्, यो वयस्क मानिस हो । यसले आफ्नो विषयमा आफैँ बोल्न सक्छ ।
22 These wordes spake his parents, because they feared the Iewes: for the Iewes had ordeined already, that if any man did confesse that he was Christ, he should be excommunicate out of the Synagogue.
त्यसका आमाबुबाले यी कुराहरू भने, किनभने तिनीहरू यहूदीहरूसँग डराएका थिए । यदि कसैले येशूलाई ख्रीष्ट भनी स्वीकार गरे भने तिनीहरूलाई सभाघरबाट बाहिर निकालिनेछन् भनी यहूदीहरू अगिबाटै सहमत भएका थिए ।
23 Therefore sayde his parents, Hee is olde ynough: aske him.
त्यसैले गर्दा त्यसका आमाबुबाले “यो वयस्क मानिस हो, त्यसैलाई सोध्नुहोस्” भने ।
24 Then againe called they the man that had bene blinde, and sayd vnto him, Giue glory vnto God: we know that this man is a sinner.
त्यसैले, जो पहिला अन्धो थियो त्यो मानिसलाई तिनीहरूले दोस्रो पटक बोलाए, र त्यसलाई भने, “परमेश्वरलाई महिमा दे । हामी जान्दछौँ यो मानिस पापी हो ।”
25 Then he answered, and sayd, Whether hee be a sinner or no, I can not tell: one thing I know, that I was blinde, and nowe I see.
तब त्यो मानिसले जवाफ दियो, “उहाँ पापी हुनुहुन्छ कि हुनुहुन्न, म जान्दिनँ । तर म एउटा कुरो जान्दछुः म अन्धो थिएँ र अहिले म देख्छु ।”
26 Then sayd they to him againe, What did he to thee? howe opened he thine eyes?
तब तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई भने, “उसले तिम्रो निम्ति के गर्यो? उसले तिम्रा आँखा कसरी खोलिदिए?”
27 Hee answered them, I haue tolde you already, and yee haue not heard it: wherefore would yee heare it againe? will yee also be his disciples?
त्यसले जवाफ दियो, “मैले तपाईंहरूलाई पहिले नै बताइसकेँ, अनि तपाईंहरूले सुन्नुभएन । तपाईंहरू यसलाई फेरि किन सुन्न चाहनुहुन्छ? तपाईंहरू त उहाँका चेलाहरू बन्न चाहनुहुन्न, चाहनुहुन्छ त?
28 Then reuiled they him, and sayd, Be thou his disciple: we be Moses disciples.
तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई अपमान गरे, र भने, “तँ पो उसको चेला होस्, तर हामी त मोशाका चेलाहरू हौँ ।
29 We know that God spake with Moses: but this man we know not from whence he is.
हामी जान्दछौँ, कि परमेश्वर मोशासँग बोल्नुभयो, तर यो मानिस कहाँबाट आएको हो, हामी जान्दैनौँ ।”
30 The man answered, and sayde vnto them, Doutlesse, this is a marueilous thing, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
त्यो मानिसले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिए, र भने, “उहाँले मेरा आँखा खोलिदिनुभो, तैपनि उहाँ कहाँबाट आउनुभएको तपाईंहरू जान्नुहुन्न, यो त अचम्म भो!
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him heareth he.
हामी जान्दछौँ, कि परमेश्वरले पापीहरूको कुरा सुन्नुहुन्न, तर यदि कोही भक्त हो, र उहाँको इच्छा पुरा गर्छ भने उहाँले त्यसको कुरा सुन्नुहुन्छ ।
32 Since the world began, was it not heard, that any man opened the eyes of one that was borne blinde. (aiōn g165)
संसारको सुरु भएदेखि नै अन्धो जन्मिएको मानिसका आँखा कसैले खोलिदिएको कुरो कहिल्यै सुनिएको छैन । (aiōn g165)
33 If this man were not of God, hee could haue done nothing.
यदि यो मानिस परमेश्वरबाट आएको होइन भने उहाँले केही पनि गर्न सक्नुहुन्नथ्यो ।”
34 They answered, and sayd vnto him, Thou art altogether borne in sinnes, and doest thou teach vs? so they cast him out.
तिनीहरूले जवाफ दिए र त्यसलाई भने, “तँ पूर्ण रूपमा पापमा जन्मेको थिइस् र हामीलाई सिकाउँदै छस्?” त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई सभाघरबाट बाहिर निकालिदिए ।
35 Iesus heard that they had cast him out: and when he had found him, he sayd vnto him, Doest thou beleeue in the Sonne of God?
तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई सभाघरबाट बाहिर निकालिदिए भन्ने येशूले सुन्नुभयो । उहाँले त्यसलाई भेटाउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “के तिमी मानिसका पुत्रमा विश्वास गर्छौ?”
36 He answered, and sayd, Who is he, Lord, that I might beleeue in him?
त्यसले जवाफ दियो, र भन्यो, “प्रभु, उहाँ को हुनुहुन्छ, कि मैले विश्वास गर्न सकौँ?”
37 And Iesus sayd vnto him, Both thou hast seene him, and he it is that talketh with thee.
येशूले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीले उसलाई देखेका छौ, तिमीसँग बोल्दै गर्ने उही हो ।”
38 Then he sayd, Lord, I beleeue, and worshipped him.
त्यो मानिसले भन्यो, “प्रभु, म विश्वास गर्छु” तब त्यसले उहाँको आराधना गर्यो ।
39 And Iesus sayd, I am come vnto iudgement into this world, that they which see not, might see: and that they which see, might be made blinde.
येशूले भन्नुभयो, “न्यायको निम्ति म यस संसारमा आएँ, ताकि जसले देख्दैनन् तिनीहरूले देखून् र जसले देख्छन्, तिनीहरू अन्धो होऊन् ।”
40 And some of the Pharises which were with him, heard these things, and sayd vnto him, Are we blinde also?
उहाँसँग हुने केही फरिसीहरूले यी कुराहरू सुने र उहाँलाई सोधे, “के हामी पनि अन्धा हौँ त?”
41 Iesus sayd vnto them, If ye were blinde, ye should not haue sinne: but nowe ye say, We see: therefore your sinne remaineth.
येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यदि तिमीहरू अन्धा भएका भए तिमीहरूमा कुनै पाप हुने थिएन, तर तिमीहरू ‘हामीले देख्छौँ’ भन्छौ, त्यसैले तिमीहरूमा पाप रहन्छ ।
