John 8
1 And Iesus went vnto the mount of Oliues,
യേശുവോ ഒലീവ് മലയിലേക്കു പോയി.
2 And early in the morning came againe into the Temple, and all the people came vnto him, and he sate downe, and taught them.
അതികാലത്തു അവൻ പിന്നെയും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; ജനം ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവൻ ഇരുന്നു അവരെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ
3 Then the Scribes, and the Pharises brought vnto him a woman, taken in adulterie, and set her in the middes,
ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും പരീശന്മാരും വ്യഭിചാരത്തിൽ പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു നടുവിൽ നിറുത്തി അവനോടു:
4 And said vnto him, Master, we foud this woman committing adulterie, euen in the very acte.
ഗുരോ, ഈ സ്ത്രീയെ വ്യഭിചാരകൎമ്മത്തിൽ തന്നേ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 Now Moses in our Law commanded, that such should be stoned: what sayest thou therefore?
ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരെ കല്ലെറിയേണം എന്നു മോശെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഇവളെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
6 And this they saide to tempt him, that they might haue, whereof to accuse him. But Iesus stouped downe, and with his finger wrote on the groud.
ഇതു അവനെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുവാൻ സംഗതി കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചതായിരുന്നു. യേശുവോ കുനിഞ്ഞു വിരൽകൊണ്ടു നിലത്തു എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
7 And while they continued asking him, hee lift himselfe vp, and sayde vnto them, Let him that is among you without sinne, cast the first stone at her.
അവർ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ നിവിൎന്നു: നിങ്ങളിൽ പാപമില്ലാത്തവൻ അവളെ ഒന്നാമതു കല്ലു എറിയട്ടെ എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
8 And againe hee stouped downe, and wrote on the ground.
പിന്നെയും കുനിഞ്ഞു വിരൽകൊണ്ടു നിലത്തു എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
9 And when they heard it, being accused by their owne conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at ye eldest euen to the last: so Iesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the mids.
അവർ അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു മനസ്സാക്ഷിയുടെ ആക്ഷേപം ഹേതുവായി മൂത്തവരും ഇളയവരും ഓരോരുത്തനായി വിട്ടുപോയി; യേശുമാത്രവും നടുവിൽ നില്ക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീയും ശേഷിച്ചു.
10 When Iesus had lift vp himselfe againe, and sawe no man, but the woman, hee saide vnto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
യേശു നിവിൎന്നു അവളോടു: സ്ത്രീയേ, അവർ എവിടെ? നിനക്കു ആരും ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചില്ലയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Iesus said, Neither do I condemne thee: go and sinne no more.
ഇല്ല കൎത്താവേ, എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാനും നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല: പോക, ഇനി പാപം ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു].
12 Then spake Iesus againe vnto them, saying, I am that light of the worlde: hee that followeth mee, shall not walke in darkenes, but shall haue that light of life.
യേശു പിന്നെയും അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു; എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇരുളിൽ നടക്കാതെ ജീവന്റെ വെളിച്ചമുള്ളവൻ ആകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
13 The Pharises therefore saide vnto him, Thou bearest recorde of thy selfe: thy recorde is not true.
പരീശന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു; നിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യമല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
14 Iesus answered, and sayde vnto them, Though I beare recorde of my selfe, yet my recorde is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I goe.
യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞാലും എന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നു വന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങളോ, ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നു വന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല.
15 Ye iudge after the flesh: I iudge no man.
നിങ്ങൾ ജഡപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ആരെയും വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല.
16 And if I also iudge, my iudgement is true: for I am not alone, but I, and the Father, that sent mee.
ഞാൻ വിധിച്ചാലും ഞാൻ ഏകനല്ല, ഞാനും എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവും കൂടെയാകയാൽ എന്റെ വിധി സത്യമാകുന്നു.
17 And it is also written in your Lawe, that the testimonie of two men is true.
രണ്ടു മനുഷ്യരുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
18 I am one that beare witnes of my selfe, and the Father that sent me, beareth witnes of me.
ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു; എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവും എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.
19 Then saide they vnto him, Where is that Father of thine? Iesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor that Father of mine. If ye had knowen me, ye should haue knowen that Father of mine also.
അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ പിതാവു എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ആകട്ടെ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെ ആകട്ടെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
20 These wordes spake Iesus in the treasurie, as hee taught in the Temple, and no man layde handes on him: for his houre was not yet come.
അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഭണ്ഡാരസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു ഈ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ നാഴിക അതുവരെയും വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ആരും അവനെ പിടിച്ചില്ല.
21 Then saide Iesus againe vnto them, I goe my way, and ye shall seeke me, and shall die in your sinnes, Whither I goe, can ye not come.
അവൻ പിന്നെയും അവരോടു: ഞാൻ പോകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും; ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
22 Then said the Iewes, Will he kill himselfe, because he saith, Whither I goe, can ye not come?
ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു പക്ഷേ തന്നെത്താൻ കൊല്ലുമോ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു.
23 And hee saide vnto them, Ye are from beneath, I am from aboue: ye are of this world, I am not of this worlde.
അവൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ കീഴിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ, ഞാൻ മേലിൽനിന്നുള്ളവൻ; നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ, ഞാൻ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവനല്ല.
24 I said therefore vnto you, That ye shall die in your sinnes: for except ye beleeue, that I am he, ye shall die in your sinnes.
ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ മരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
25 Then saide they vnto him, Who art thou? And Iesus saide vnto them, Euen the same thing that I said vnto you from the beginning.
അവർ അവനോടു: നീ ആർ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു യേശു: ആദിമുതൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചുപോരുന്നതു തന്നേ.
26 I haue many things to say, and to iudge of you: but he that sent me, is true, and the things that I haue heard of him, those speake I to the world.
നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു വളരെ സംസാരിപ്പാനും വിധിപ്പാനും എനിക്കു ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു; അവനോടു കേട്ടതു തന്നേ ഞാൻ ലോകത്തോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
27 They vnderstoode not that hee spake to them of the Father.
പിതാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആകുന്നു അവൻ തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്നു അവർ ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല.
28 Then said Iesus vnto them, When ye haue lift vp the Sonne of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I doe nothing of my selfe, but as my Father hath taught me, so I speake these things.
ആകയാൽ യേശു: നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ഉയൎത്തിയശേഷം ഞാൻ തന്നേ അവൻ എന്നും ഞാൻ സ്വയമായിട്ടു ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നതുപോലെ ഇതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അറിയും.
29 For he that sent me, is with me: the Father hath not left me alone, because I do alwayes those things that please him.
എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ എല്ലായ്പോഴും അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ എന്നെ ഏകനായി വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
30 As hee spake these thinges, many beleeued in him.
അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പലരും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
31 Then saide Iesus to the Iewes which beleeued in him, If ye continue in my worde, ye are verely my disciples,
തന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു യേശു: എന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വാസ്തവമായി എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരായി
32 And shall know the trueth, and the trueth shall make you free.
സത്യം അറികയും സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
33 They answered him, Wee be Abrahams seede, and were neuer bonde to any man: why sayest thou then, Ye shalbe made free?
അവർ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതി; ആൎക്കും ഒരുനാളും ദാസന്മാരായിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാർ ആകും എന്നു നീ പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
34 Iesus answered them, Verely, verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer committeth sinne, is the seruant of sinne.
അതിന്നു യേശു: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം പാപത്തിന്റെ ദാസൻ ആകുന്നു.
ദാസൻ എന്നേക്കും വീട്ടിൽ വസിക്കുന്നില്ല; പുത്രനോ എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കുന്നു. (aiōn g165)
36 If that Sonne therefore shall make you free, ye shalbe free in deede.
പുത്രൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം വരുത്തിയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷാൽ സ്വതന്ത്രർ ആകും.
37 I know that ye are Abrahams seede, but yee seeke to kill mee, because my worde hath no place in you.
നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതി എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ വചനത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളിൽ ഇടം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.
38 I speake that which I haue seene with my Father: and ye doe that which ye haue seene with your father.
പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിനോടു കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
39 They answered, and saide vnto him, Abraham is our father. Iesus said vnto them, If ye were Abrahams children, ye woulde doe the workes of Abraham.
അവർ അവനോടു: അബ്രാഹാം ആകുന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു യേശു അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മക്കൾ എങ്കിൽ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
40 But nowe ye goe about to kill mee, a man that haue told you the trueth, which I haue heard of God: this did not Abraham.
എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തോടു കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ള സത്യം നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനായ എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ അബ്രാഹാം ചെയ്തില്ലല്ലോ.
41 Ye do the workes of your father. Then said they to him, We are not borne of fornication: we haue one Father, which is God.
നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ പരസംഗത്താൽ ജനിച്ചവരല്ല; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു പിതാവേയുള്ളു; ദൈവം തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
42 Therefore Iesus sayde vnto them, If God were your Father, then woulde ye loue mee: for I proceeded foorth, and came from God, neither came I of my selfe, but he sent me.
യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ദൈവം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ സ്വയമായി വന്നതല്ല, അവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.
43 Why doe ye not vnderstande my talke? because ye cannot heare my worde.
എന്റെ ഭാഷണം നിങ്ങൾ ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു? എന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ.
44 Ye are of your father the deuill, and the lustes of your father ye will doe: hee hath bene a murtherer from the beginning, and abode not in the trueth, because there is no trueth in him. When hee speaketh a lie, then speaketh hee of his owne: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
നിങ്ങൾ പിശാചെന്ന പിതാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ മോഹങ്ങളെ ചെയ്‌വാനും ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ആദിമുതൽ കുലപാതകൻ ആയിരുന്നു; അവനിൽ സത്യം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു സത്യത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതുമില്ല. അവൻ ഭോഷ്കു പറയുമ്പോൾ സ്വന്തത്തിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു പറയുന്നു; അവൻ ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നവനും അതിന്റെ അപ്പനും ആകുന്നു.
45 And because I tell you the trueth, yee beleeue me not.
ഞാനോ സത്യം പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.
46 Which of you can rebuke me of sinne? and if I say the trueth, why do ye not beleeue me?
നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർ എന്നെ പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ബോധം വരുത്തുന്നു? ഞാൻ സത്യം പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു?
47 He that is of God, heareth Gods wordes: yee therefore heare them not, because ye are not of God.
ദൈവസന്തതിയായവൻ ദൈവവചനം കേൾക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവസന്തതിയല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല.
48 Then answered the Iewes, and said vnto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritane, and hast a deuil?
യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ ഒരു ശമൎയ്യൻ; നിനക്കു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ശരിയല്ലയോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
49 Iesus answered, I haue not a deuil, but I honour my Father, and ye haue dishonoured me.
അതിന്നു യേശു: എനിക്കു ഭൂതമില്ല; ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്ക അത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു; നിങ്ങളോ എന്നെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നു.
50 And I seeke not mine owne praise: but there is one that seeketh it, and iudgeth.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ മഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; അന്വേഷിക്കയും വിധിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഒരുവൻ ഉണ്ടു.
ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും മരണം കാൺകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. (aiōn g165)
52 Then said the Iewes to him, Now know we that thou hast a deuill. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets: and thou sayest, If a man keepe my worde, he shall neuer taste of death. (aiōn g165)
യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നിനക്കു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സിലായി; അബ്രാഹാമും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു; നീയോ എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും മരണം ആസ്വദിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു. (aiōn g165)
53 Art thou greater then our father Abraham, which is dead? and the Prophets are dead: whome makest thou thy selfe?
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെക്കാൾ നീ വലിയവനോ? അവൻ മരിച്ചു, പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു; നിന്നെത്തന്നെ നീ ആർ ആക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു
54 Iesus answered, If I honour my selfe, mine honour is nothing worth: it is my Father that honoureth me, whome ye say, that hee is your God.
യേശു: ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ എന്റെ മഹത്വം ഏതുമില്ല; എന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്റെ പിതാവു ആകുന്നു; അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു.
55 Yet ye haue not knowen him: but I knowe him, and if I should say I know him not, I should be a liar like vnto you: but I knowe him, and keepe his worde.
എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഞാനോ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഭോഷ്കുപറയുന്നവൻ ആകും; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
56 Your father Abraham reioyced to see my day, and he sawe it, and was glad.
നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാം എന്റെ ദിവസം കാണും എന്നുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു ഉല്ലസിച്ചു; അവൻ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
57 Then sayd ye Iewes vnto him, Thou art not yet fiftie yeere olde, and hast thou seene Abraham?
യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോടു: നിനക്കു അമ്പതു വയസ്സു ആയിട്ടില്ല; നീ അബ്രാഹാമിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
58 Iesus sayd vnto them, Verely, verely I say vnto you, before Abraham was, I am.
യേശു അവരോടു: ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: അബ്രാഹാം ജനിച്ചതിന്നു മുമ്പേ ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
59 Then tooke they vp stones, to cast at him, but Iesus hid himselfe, and went out of the Temple: And hee passed through the middes of them, and so went his way.
അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ എറിവാൻ കല്ലു എടുത്തു; യേശുവോ മറഞ്ഞു ദൈവാലയം വിട്ടു പോയി.
