John 7
1 After these things, Iesus walked in Galile, and woulde not walke in Iudea: for the Iewes sought to kill him.
Ug tapus niini si Jesus misuroy sa Galilea; ug siya dili buot mosuroy sa Judea kay ang mga Judio naninguha man sa pagpatay kaniya.
2 Nowe the Iewes feast of the Tabernacles was at hande.
Ug karon nagsingabut na ang fiesta sa mga Judio, ang fiesta sa mga Payag.
3 His brethren therefore sayde vnto him, Depart hence, and goe into Iudea, that thy disciples may see thy woorkes that thou doest.
Ug ang iyang mga igsoong lalaki miingon kaniya, "Pumahawa ka dinhi ug umadto ka sa Judea aron ang imong mga tinun-an makakita sa mga buhat nga imong ginahimo.
4 For there is no man that doeth any thing secretely, and hee himselfe seeketh to be famous. If thou doest these things, shewe thy selfe to the worlde.
Kay walay tawo nga magabuhat sa tago kon mao may iyang tinguha nga ilhon siya sa dayag. Kon buhaton mo man kining mga butanga, nan, ipadayag ang imong kaugalingon ngadto sa kalibutan."
5 For as yet his brethren beleeued not in him.
Kay bisan ang iyang mga igsoon wala man mosalig kaniya.
6 Then Iesus saide vnto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway readie.
"Ug si Jesus miingon kanila, " Wala pa moabut ang akong higayon, apan ang inyong higayon ania kanunay.
7 The world can not hate you: but me it hateth, because I testifie of it, that the workes thereof are euill.
Ang kalibutan dili makadumot kaninyo, apan kini nagadumot kanako kay gipanghimatud-an ko man kini nga dautan ang mga buhat niini.
8 Go ye vp vnto this feast: I wil not go vp yet vnto this feast: for my time is not yet fulfilled.
Kamo maoy umadto sa fiesta. Dili ako motungas ngadto sa fiesta, kay ang akong panahon wala pa moabut sa hingpit."
9 These things he sayde vnto them, and abode still in Galile.
Ug sa nakapamulong siya niini, siya mipabilin sa Galilea.
10 But assoone as his brethren were gone vp, then went hee also vp vnto the feast, not openly, but as it were priuilie.
Apan sa nangadto na sa fiesta ang iyang mga igsoon, siya usab miadto, dili pinasundayag kondili ingon nga siyasiya ra.
11 Then the Iewes sought him at the feast, and saide, Where is hee?
Ug didto sa fiesta ang mga Judio nangita kaniya ug nanag-ingon, "Hain ba siya?"
12 And much murmuring was there of him among the people. Some said, He is a good man: other sayd, Nay: but he deceiueth the people.
Ug didtoy daghang mga hohongihong sa mga tawo mahitungod kaniya. Samtang may nanag-ingon, "Siya maayong tawo," ang uban nanag-ingon, "Dili, hinonoa nagapasalaag siya sa mga tawo."
13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for feare of the Iewes.
Hinoon, tungod sa kahadlok nila sa mga Judio walay misulti sa dayag mahitungod kaniya.
14 Nowe when halfe the feast was done, Iesus went vp into the Temple and taught.
Ug sa nanungatunga na ang fiesta, si Jesus misaka sa templo ug nanudlo.
15 And the Iewes marueiled, saving, Howe knoweth this man the Scriptures, seeing that hee neuer learned!
Ug ang mga Judio nahibulong niini, nga nanag-ingon, "Naunsa bang may hingkat-onan man kining tawhana nga wala man unta siya makaiskuyla?"
16 Iesus answered them, and saide, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
Ug si Jesus mitubag kanila, "Ang gitudlo ko dili akong kaugalingon, kondili iya sa nagpadala kanako.
17 If any man will doe his will, he shall knowe of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speake of my selfe.
Kon tuyoon ni bisan kinsa ang pagbuhat sa kabubut-on sa Dios, nan, iyang mahibaloan kon ang akong gitudlo gikan ba sa Dios o nagsulti ba lamang ako sa kinaugalingon kong pagbulot-an.
18 Hee that speaketh of himselfe, seeketh his owne glorie: but hee that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no vnrighteousnes is in him.
Bisan kinsa nga magasulti sa kinaugalingon niyang pagbulot-an nagapangita sa iyang kaugalingong kadungganan; apan bisan kinsa nga magapangita sa kadungganan sa nagpadala kaniya, siya matinuoron ug wala diha kaniya ang pagkamalimbongon.
19 Did not Moses giue you a Law, and yet none of you keepeth the lawe? Why goe ye about to kill me?
Dili ba si Moises mao man ang naghatag kaninyo sa kasugoan? Ngani wala kaninyoy nagatuman sa kasugoan. Kay nganong naninguha man lagi kamo sa pagpatay kanako?"
20 The people answered, and said, Thou hast a deuil: who goeth about to kill thee?
Ug ang mga tawo mitubag, "Giyawaan ka! Kinsa bay naninguha sa pagpatay kanimo?"
21 Iesus answered, and saide to them, I haue done one worke, and ye all maruaile.
Si Jesus mitubag kanila, "Gihimo ko ang usa ka buhat, ug kamong tanan nahitingala niini.
22 Moses therefore gaue vnto you circumcision, (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers) and ye on the Sabbath day circumcise a man.
Si Moises naghatag kaninyo sa sirkunsisyon (dili nga gikan gayud kini kang Moises, kondili sa mga ginikanan), ug kamo mosirkunsidar ug tawo sa adlaw nga igpapahulay.
23 If a man on the Sabbath receiue circumcision, that the Lawe of Moses should not be broken, be ye angrie with me, because I haue made a man euery whit whole on the Sabbath day?
Kon ang tawo sirkunsidahan man sa adlaw nga igpapahulay aron ang kasugoan ni Moises dili malapas, masuko ba diay kamo kanako tungod kay sa adlaw nga igpapahulay giayo ko ang tibuok lawas sa usa ka tawo?
24 Iudge not according to the appearance, but iudge righteous iudgement.
Ayaw na kamo pagpanghukom pinasikad sa panagway, hinonoa pagpanghukom kamo sa matarung nga paghukom."
25 Then saide some of them of Hierusalem, Is not this he, whom they goe about to kill?
Busa may mga tawo sa Jerusalem nga nanag-ingon, "Dili ba kining tawhana mao man ang buot unta nilang patyon?
26 And beholde, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him: doe the rulers know in deede that this is in deede that Christ?
Ug karon ania na siya ug nagsulti sa dayag, apan wala man lagi silay gikasulti batok kaniya! Sarang ba kaha nga ang mga punoan sa pagkatinuod nahibalo na nga kini siya mao ang Cristo?
27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when that Christ commeth, no man shall knowe whence he is.
Hinoon nasayud kita diin gikan kining tawhana; ug kon mahitungha na ang Cristo, walay bisan kinsa nga masayud diin siya gikan."
28 Then cried Iesus in the Temple as hee taught, saying, Ye both knowe mee, and knowe whence I am: yet am I not come of my selfe, but he that sent me, is true, whome ye knowe not.
Tungod niini, sa iyang pagpanudlo sulod sa templo, si Jesus mipahayag nga nag-ingon, "Nakaila ba diay kamo kanako, ug nasayud ba diay kamog diin ako gikan? Apan wala baya ako moanhi sa akong kinaugalingong pagbulot-an. Siya tinuod, siya nga mao ang nagpadala kanako, ug kamo wala makaila kaniya.
29 But I knowe him: for I am of him, and he hath sent me.
Ako nakaila kaniya, kay ako gikan man kaniya ug siya mao man ang nagpadala kanako."
30 Then they sought to take him, but no man layde handes on him, because his houre was not yet come.
Tungod niini naninguha sila sa pagdakop kaniya, apan walay midakop kaniya kay wala pa man moabut ang iyang panahon.
31 Now many of the people beleeued in him, and said, When that Christ commeth, will he doe moe miracles then this man hath done?
Apan daghan sa mga tawo ang misalig kaniya; ug sila nanag-ingon, "Kon mahitungha na ang Cristo, himoon ba kaha niya ang labaw pa ka daghang milagro kay sa nahimo niining tawhana?"
32 The Pharises heard that the people murmured these thinges of him, and the Pharises, and high Priestes sent officers to take him.
Ug ang mga Fariseo nakadungog sa panon sa katawhan nga naghohongihong niini mahitungod kaniya, ug ang mga sacerdote nga punoan ug ang mga Fariseo nagpadalag mga polis sa pagdakop kaniya.
33 Then saide Iesus vnto them, Yet am I a little while with you, and then goe I vnto him that sent mee.
"Tungod niini si Jesus miingon, " Ako magapakig-uban pa kaninyo sulod sa hamubong panahon, ug unya moadto na ako kaniya nga mao ang nagpadala kanako.
34 Ye shall seeke me, and shall not finde me, and where I am, can ye not come.
"Kamo mangita kanako apan dili kamo makakaplag kanako; ug diin atua ako, niini dili kamo makaadto."
35 Then saide the Iewes amongs themselues, Whither will he goe, that we shall not finde him? Will he goe vnto them that are dispersed among the Grecians, and teache the Grecians?
Ug ang mga Judio nasig-ingon, ang usa sa usa, "Unsa man kahay buot niyang aadtoan, nga dili man kono kita makakaplag kaniya? Buot ba siya moadto sa mga Judio nga nanghitibulaag taliwala sa mga Gresyanhon ug manudlo sa mga Gresyanhon?
36 What saying is this that hee saide, Ye shall seeke mee, and shall not finde mee? and where I am, cannot ye come?
Unsa ba kahay buot niya ipasabut sa iyang pag-ingon, `Kamo mangita kanako apan dili kamo makakaplag kanako,' ug, `Diin atua ako, niini dili kamo makaadto'?"
37 Nowe in the last and great day of the feast, Iesus stoode and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come vnto me, and drinke.
Ug unya sa katapusang adlaw, ang labing dakung adlaw sa fiesta, si Jesus mitindog ug misinggit nga nag-ingon, "Kon adunay tawong giuhaw, umari siya kanako ug uminom.
38 Hee that beleeueth in mee, as saith the Scripture, out of his bellie shall flowe riuers of water of life.
Sa mosalig kanako, sumala sa giingon sa kasulatan, `Gikan sa iyang kasingkasing modagayday ang mga sapa sa tubig nga buhi.'"
39 (This spake hee of the Spirite which they that beleeued in him, should receiue: for the holy Ghost was not yet giuen, because that Iesus was not yet glorified.)
Ug siya nagsulti niini labut sa Espiritu nga pagadawaton sa mga misalig kaniya; kay ang Espiritu wala pa man ikahatag, sanglit niadtong tungora si Jesus wala pa man himayaa.
40 So many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, Of a trueth this is that Prophet.
Ug sa ilang pagkadungog niining mga pulonga, dihay pipila sa mga tawo nga nanag-ingon, "Sa pagkatinuod kini siya mao ang profeta."
41 Other saide, This is that Christ: and some said, But shall that Christ come out of Galile?
Ang uban nanag-ingon, "Kini siya mao ang Cristo." Apan dihay nanag-ingon, "Magagikan ba ugod sa Galilea ang Cristo?
42 Saith not the Scripture that that Christ shall come of the seede of Dauid, and out of the towne of Beth-leem, where Dauid was?
"Dili ba giingon man sa kasulatan nga ang Cristo magagikan sa kaliwatan ni David, ug gikan sa Betlehem, ang balangay diin didto si David?"
43 So was there dissension among the people for him.
Busa nahitabo ang panagkasumpaki sa mga tawo tungod kaniya.
44 And some of them would haue taken him, but no man layde handes on him.
Ang uban kanila buot unta modakop kaniya, apan walay midakop kaniya.
45 Then came the officers to the hie Priests and Pharises, and they said vnto them, Why haue ye not brought him?
Ug unya ang mga polis namalik ngadto sa mga sacerdote nga punoan ug sa mga Fariseo nga nangutana kanila, "Nganong wala man ninyo siya dad-a dinhi?"
46 The officers answered, Neuer man spake like this man.
Ang mga polis mitubag nga nanag-ingon, "Wala pa gayuy tawo nga nakasulti sama niining tawhana!"
47 Then answered them the Pharises, Are yee also deceiued?
Ug ang mga Fariseo mitubag kanila, "Nagpahisalaag ba diay usab kamo?
48 Doeth any of the rulers, or of the Pharises beleeue in him?
Duna bay usa sa mga punoan o sa mga Fariseo nga misalig kaniya?
49 But this people, which know not the Law, are cursed.
"Apan kining mga tawong komon nga walay hibangkaagan sa kasugoan, sila mga tinunglo."
50 Nicodemus said vnto them, (he that came to Iesus by night, and was one of them.)
Usa kanila nga mao si Nicodemo, nga kaniadto miduaw gani kang Jesus, nangutana kanila,
51 Doth our Law iudge a man before it heare him, and knowe what he hath done?
"Ang atong kasugoan, mohukom ba diay kinig tawo aron silotan sa wala unay pagpatalinghug kaniya ug pagpakisayud unsa ang iyang nabuhat?"
52 They answered, and said vnto him, Art thou also of Galile? Searche and looke: for out of Galile ariseth no Prophet.
Sila mitubag kaniya, "Gikan ka ba usab diay sa Galilea? Susiha ug imong masuta nga walay mobarug nga profeta nga taga-Galilea."
53 And euery man wet vnto his owne house.
Ug ang matag-usa kanila mipauli sa iyang kaugalingong balay,
