John 4
1 Nowe when the Lord knew, how the Pharises had heard, that Iesus made and baptized moe disciples then Iohn,
ยีศุ: สฺวยํ นามชฺชยตฺ เกวลํ ตสฺย ศิษฺยา อมชฺชยตฺ กินฺตุ โยหโน'ธิกศิษฺยานฺ ส กโรติ มชฺชยติ จ,
2 (Though Iesus himselfe baptized not: but his disciples)
ผิรูศิน อิมำ วารฺตฺตามศฺฤณฺวนฺ อิติ ปฺรภุรวคตฺย
3 Hee left Iudea, and departed againe into Galile.
ยิหูทียเทศํ วิหาย ปุน รฺคาลีลมฺ อาคตฺฯ
4 And he must needes goe through Samaria.
ตต: โศมิโรณปฺรเทศสฺย มเทฺยน เตน คนฺตเวฺย สติ
5 Then came hee to a citie of Samaria called Sychar, neere vnto the possession that Iacob gaue to his sonne Ioseph.
ยากูพฺ นิชปุตฺราย ยูษเผ ยำ ภูมิมฺ อททาตฺ ตตฺสมีปสฺถายิ โศมิโรณปฺรเทศสฺย สุขารฺ นามฺนา วิขฺยาตสฺย นครสฺย สนฺนิธาวุปาสฺถาตฺฯ
6 And there was Iacobs well. Iesus then wearied in the iourney, sate thus on the well: it was about the sixt houre.
ตตฺร ยากูพ: ปฺรหิราสีตฺ; ตทา ทฺวิตียยามเวลายำ ชาตายำ ส มารฺเค ศฺรมาปนฺนสฺตสฺย ปฺรเห: ปารฺเศฺว อุปาวิศตฺฯ
7 There came a woman of Samaria to drawe water. Iesus sayd vnto her, Giue me drinke.
เอตรฺหิ กาจิตฺ โศมิโรณียา โยษิตฺ โตโยตฺโตลนารฺถมฺ ตตฺราคมตฺ
8 For his disciples were gone away into the citie, to buy meate.
ตทา ศิษฺยา: ขาทฺยทฺรวฺยาณิ เกฺรตุํ นครมฺ อคจฺฉนฺฯ
9 Then sayde the woman of Samaria vnto him, Howe is it, that thou being a Iewe, askest drinke of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Iewes meddle not with the Samaritans.
ยีศุ: โศมิโรณียำ ตำ โยษิตมฺ วฺยาหารฺษีตฺ มหฺยํ กิญฺจิตฺ ปานียํ ปาตุํ เทหิฯ กินฺตุ โศมิโรณีไย: สากํ ยิหูทียโลกา น วฺยวาหรนฺ ตสฺมาทฺเธโต: สากถยตฺ โศมิโรณียา โยษิตทหํ ตฺวํ ยิหูทีโยสิ กถํ มตฺต: ปานียํ ปาตุมฺ อิจฺฉสิ?
10 Iesus answered and saide vnto her, If thou knewest that gift of God, and who it is that saieth to thee, Giue mee drinke, thou wouldest haue asked of him, and hee woulde haue giuen thee, water of life.
ตโต ยีศุรวททฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ยทฺทานํ ตตฺกีทฺฤกฺ ปานียํ ปาตุํ มหฺยํ เทหิ ย อิตฺถํ ตฺวำ ยาจเต ส วา ก อิติ เจทชฺญาสฺยถาสฺตรฺหิ ตมยาจิษฺยถา: ส จ ตุภฺยมมฺฤตํ โตยมทาสฺยตฺฯ
11 The woman saide vnto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to drawe with, and the well is deepe: from whence then hast thou that water of life?
ตทา สา สีมนฺตินี ภาษิตวติ, เห มเหจฺฉ ปฺรหิรฺคมฺภีโร ภวโต นีโรตฺโตลนปาตฺรํ นาสฺตี จ ตสฺมาตฺ ตทมฺฤตํ กีลาลํ กุต: ปฺราปฺสฺยสิ?
12 Art thou greater then our father Iacob, which gaue vs the well, and hee himselfe dranke thereof, and his sonnes, and his cattell?
โยสฺมภฺยมฺ อิมมนฺธูํ ทเทา, ยสฺย จ ปริชนา โคเมษาทยศฺจ สรฺเวฺว'สฺย ปฺรเห: ปานียํ ปปุเรตาทฺฤโศ โยสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุโษ ยากูพฺ ตสฺมาทปิ ภวานฺ มหานฺ กึ?
13 Iesus answered, and said vnto her, Whosoeuer drinketh of this water, shall thirst againe:
ตโต ยีศุรกถยทฺ อิทํ ปานียํ ส: ปิวติ ส ปุนสฺตฺฤษารฺตฺโต ภวิษฺยติ,
15 The woman said vnto him, Syr, giue me of that water, that I may not thirst, neither come hither to drawe.
ตทา สา วนิตากถยตฺ เห มเหจฺฉ ตรฺหิ มม ปุน: ปีปาสา ยถา น ชายเต โตโยตฺโตลนาย ยถาตฺราคมนํ น ภวติ จ ตทรฺถํ มหฺยํ ตตฺโตยํ เทหีฯ
16 Iesus said vnto her, Go, call thine husband, and come hither.
ตโต ยีศูรวททฺยาหิ ตว ปติมาหูย สฺถาเน'ตฺราคจฺฉฯ
17 The woman answered, and saide, I haue no husband. Iesus said vnto her, Thou hast well said, I haue no husband.
สา วามาวทตฺ มม ปติรฺนาสฺติฯ ยีศุรวทตฺ มม ปติรฺนาสฺตีติ วากฺยํ ภทฺรมโวจ: ฯ
18 For thou hast had fiue husbands, and he whom thou nowe hast, is not thine husband: that saidest thou truely.
ยตสฺตว ปญฺจ ปตโยภวนฺ อธุนา ตุ ตฺวยา สารฺทฺธํ ยสฺติษฺฐติ ส ตว ภรฺตฺตา น วากฺยมิทํ สตฺยมวาทิ: ฯ
19 The woman saide vnto him, Sir, I see that thou art a Prophet.
ตทา สา มหิลา คทิตวติ เห มเหจฺฉ ภวานฺ เอโก ภวิษฺยทฺวาทีติ พุทฺธํ มยาฯ
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountaine, and ye say, that in Ierusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
อสฺมากํ ปิตฺฤโลกา เอตสฺมินฺ ศิโลจฺจเย'ภชนฺต, กินฺตุ ภวทฺภิรุจฺยเต ยิรูศาลมฺ นคเร ภชนโยคฺยํ สฺถานมาเสฺตฯ
21 Iesus saide vnto her, Woman, beleeue me, the houre commeth, when ye shall neither in this mountaine, nor at Hierusalem worship ye Father.
ยีศุรโวจตฺ เห โยษิตฺ มม วาเกฺย วิศฺวสิหิ ยทา ยูยํ เกวลไศเล'สฺมินฺ วา ยิรูศาลมฺ นคเร ปิตุรฺภชนํ น กริษฺยเธฺว กาล เอตาทฺฤศ อายาติฯ
22 Ye worship that which ye knowe not: we worship that which we knowe: for saluation is of the Iewes.
ยูยํ ยํ ภชเธฺว ตํ น ชานีถ, กินฺตุ วยํ ยํ ภชามเห ตํ ชานีมเห, ยโต ยิหูทียโลกานำ มธฺยาตฺ ปริตฺราณํ ชายเตฯ
23 But the houre commeth, and nowe is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit, and trueth: for the Father requireth euen such to worship him.
กินฺตุ ยทา สตฺยภกฺตา อาตฺมนา สตฺยรูเปณ จ ปิตุรฺภชนํ กริษฺยนฺเต สมย เอตาทฺฤศ อายาติ, วรมฺ อิทานีมปิ วิทฺยเต; ยต เอตาทฺฤโศ ภตฺกานฺ ปิตา เจษฺฏเตฯ
24 God is a Spirite, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and trueth.
อีศฺวร อาตฺมา; ตตสฺตสฺย เย ภกฺตาไสฺต: ส อาตฺมนา สตฺยรูเปณ จ ภชนีย: ฯ
25 The woman said vnto him, I knowe well that Messias shall come which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell vs all things.
ตทา สา มหิลาวาทีตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏนามฺนา วิขฺยาโต'ภิษิกฺต: ปุรุษ อาคมิษฺยตีติ ชานามิ ส จ สรฺวฺวา: กถา อสฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยิษฺยติฯ
26 Iesus said vnto her, I am he, that speake vnto thee.
ตโต ยีศุรวทตฺ ตฺวยา สารฺทฺธํ กถนํ กโรมิ โย'หมฺ อหเมว ส ปุรุษ: ฯ
27 And vpon that, came his disciples, and marueiled that he talked with a woman: yet no man said vnto him, What askest thou? or why talkest thou with her?
เอตสฺมินฺ สมเย ศิษฺยา อาคตฺย ตถา สฺตฺริยา สารฺทฺธํ ตสฺย กโถปกถเน มหาศฺจรฺยฺยมฺ อมนฺยนฺต ตถาปิ ภวานฺ กิมิจฺฉติ? ยทฺวา กิมรฺถมฺ เอตยา สารฺทฺธํ กถำ กถยติ? อิติ โกปิ นาปฺฤจฺฉตฺฯ
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the citie, and said to the men,
ตต: ปรํ สา นารี กลศํ สฺถาปยิตฺวา นครมธฺยํ คตฺวา โลเกโภฺยกถายทฺ
29 Come, see a man which hath tolde me all things that euer I did: is not he that Christ?
อหํ ยทฺยตฺ กรฺมฺมากรวํ ตตฺสรฺวฺวํ มหฺยมกถยทฺ เอตาทฺฤศํ มานวเมกมฺ อาคตฺย ปศฺยต รุ กิมฺ อภิษิกฺโต น ภวติ?
30 Then they went out of the citie, and came vnto him.
ตตเสฺต นคราทฺ พหิราคตฺย ตาตสฺย สมีปมฺ อายนฺฯ
31 In the meane while, the disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eate.
เอตรฺหิ ศิษฺยา: สาธยิตฺวา ตํ วฺยาหารฺษุ: เห คุโร ภวานฺ กิญฺจิทฺ ภูกฺตำฯ
32 But he said vnto them, I haue meate to eate that ye know not of.
ตต: โสวททฺ ยุษฺมาภิรฺยนฺน ชฺญายเต ตาทฺฤศํ ภกฺษฺยํ มมาเสฺตฯ
33 Then said ye disciples betweene themselues, Hath any man brought him meate?
ตทา ศิษฺยา: ปรสฺปรํ ปฺรษฺฏุมฺ อารมฺภนฺต, กิมไสฺม โกปิ กิมปิ ภกฺษฺยมานีย ทตฺตวานฺ?
34 Iesus saide vnto them, My meate is that I may doe the will of him that sent me, and finish his worke.
ยีศุรโวจตฺ มตฺเปฺรรกสฺยาภิมตานุรูปกรณํ ตไสฺยว กรฺมฺมสิทฺธิการณญฺจ มม ภกฺษฺยํฯ
35 Say not ye, There are yet foure moneths, and then commeth haruest? Beholde, I say vnto you, Lift vp your eyes, and looke on the regions: for they are white alreadie vnto haruest.
มาสจตุษฺฏเย ชาเต ศสฺยกรฺตฺตนสมโย ภวิษฺยตีติ วากฺยํ ยุษฺมาภิ: กึ โนทฺยเต? กินฺตฺวหํ วทามิ, ศิร อุตฺโตลฺย เกฺษตฺราณิ ปฺรติ นิรีกฺษฺย ปศฺยต, อิทานีํ กรฺตฺตนโยคฺยานิ ศุกฺลวรฺณานฺยภวนฺฯ
36 And he that reapeth, receiueth rewarde, and gathereth fruite vnto life eternall, that both he that soweth, and he that reapeth, might reioyce together. (aiōnios g166)
ยศฺฉินตฺติ ส เวตนํ ลภเต อนนฺตายุ: สฺวรูปํ ศสฺยํ ส คฺฤหฺลาติ จ, เตไนว วปฺตา เฉตฺตา จ ยุคปทฺ อานนฺทต: ฯ (aiōnios g166)
37 For herein is the saying true, that one soweth, and an other reapeth.
อิตฺถํ สติ วปเตฺยกศฺฉินตฺยนฺย อิติ วจนํ สิทฺธฺยติฯ
38 I sent you to reape that, whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entred into their labours.
ยตฺร ยูยํ น ปรฺยฺยศฺรามฺยต ตาทฺฤศํ ศสฺยํ เฉตฺตุํ ยุษฺมานฺ ไปฺรรยมฺ อเนฺย ชนา: ปรฺยฺยศฺรามฺยนฺ ยูยํ เตษำ ศฺรคสฺย ผลมฺ อลภธฺวมฺฯ
39 Nowe many of the Samaritans of that citie beleeued in him, for the saying of the woman which testified, He hath tolde me all things that euer I did.
ยสฺมินฺ กาเล ยทฺยตฺ กรฺมฺมาการฺษํ ตตฺสรฺวฺวํ ส มหฺยมฺ อกถยตฺ ตสฺยา วนิตายา อิทํ สากฺษฺยวากฺยํ ศฺรุตฺวา ตนฺนครนิวาสิโน พหว: โศมิโรณียโลกา วฺยศฺวสนฺฯ
40 Then when the Samaritans were come vnto him, they besought him, that he woulde tarie with them: and he abode there two dayes.
ตถา จ ตสฺยานฺติเก สมุปสฺถาย เสฺวษำ สนฺนิเธา กติจิทฺ ทินานิ สฺถาตุํ ตสฺมินฺ วินยมฺ อกุรฺวฺวาน ตสฺมาตฺ ส ทินทฺวยํ ตตฺสฺถาเน นฺยวษฺฏตฺ
41 And many moe beleeued because of his owne word.
ตตสฺตโสฺยปเทเศน พหโว'ปเร วิศฺวสฺย
42 And they said vnto the woman, Nowe we beleeue, not because of thy saying: for we haue heard him our selues, and knowe that this is in deede that Christ the Sauiour of the world.
ตำ โยษามวทนฺ เกวลํ ตว วาเกฺยน ปฺรตีม อิติ น, กินฺตุ ส ชคโต'ภิษิกฺตสฺตฺราเตติ ตสฺย กถำ ศฺรุตฺวา วยํ สฺวยเมวาชฺญาสมหิฯ
43 So two dayes after he departed thence, and went into Galile.
สฺวเทเศ ภวิษฺยทฺวกฺตุ: สตฺกาโร นาสฺตีติ ยทฺยปิ ยีศุ: ปฺรมาณํ ทตฺวากถยตฺ
44 For Iesus himselfe had testified, that a Prophet hath none honour in his owne countrey.
ตถาปิ ทิวสทฺวยาตฺ ปรํ ส ตสฺมาตฺ สฺถานาทฺ คาลีลํ คตวานฺฯ
45 Then when he was come into Galile, the Galileans receiued him, which had seene all the things that he did at Hierusalem at the feast: for they went also vnto the feast.
อนนฺตรํ เย คาลีลี ลิยโลกา อุตฺสเว คตา อุตฺสวสมเย ยิรูศลมฺ นคเร ตสฺย สรฺวฺวา: กฺริยา อปศฺยนฺ เต คาลีลมฺ อาคตํ ตมฺ อาคฺฤหฺลนฺฯ
46 And Iesus came againe into Cana a towne of Galile, where he had made of water, wine. And there was a certaine ruler, whose sonne was sicke at Capernaum.
ตต: ปรมฺ ยีศุ รฺยสฺมินฺ กานฺนานคเร ชลํ ทฺรากฺษารสมฺ อากโรตฺ ตตฺ สฺถานํ ปุนรคาตฺฯ ตสฺมินฺเนว สมเย กสฺยจิทฺ ราชสภาสฺตารสฺย ปุตฺร: กผรฺนาหูมปุรี โรคคฺรสฺต อาสีตฺฯ
47 When he heard that Iesus was come out of Iudea into Galile, he went vnto him, and besought him that he would goe downe, and heale his sonne: for he was euen ready to die.
ส เยหูทียเทศาทฺ ยีโศ รฺคาลีลาคมนวารฺตฺตำ นิศมฺย ตสฺย สมีปํ คตฺวา ปฺรารฺถฺย วฺยาหฺฤตวานฺ มม ปุตฺรสฺย ปฺราเยณ กาล อาสนฺน: ภวานฺ อาคตฺย ตํ สฺวสฺถํ กโรตุฯ
48 Then saide Iesus vnto him, Except ye see signes and wonders, ye will not beleeue.
ตทา ยีศุรกถยทฺ อาศฺจรฺยฺยํ กรฺมฺม จิตฺรํ จิหฺนํ จ น ทฺฤษฺฏา ยูยํ น ปฺรเตฺยษฺยถฯ
49 The ruler said vnto him, Syr, goe downe before my sonne dye.
ตต: ส สภาสทวทตฺ เห มเหจฺฉ มม ปุเตฺร น มฺฤเต ภวานาคจฺฉตุฯ
50 Iesus said vnto him, Go thy way, thy sonne liueth: and the man beleeued the worde that Iesus had spoken vnto him, and went his way.
ยีศุสฺตมวททฺ คจฺฉ ตว ปุโตฺร'ชีวีตฺ ตทา ยีศุโนกฺตวาเกฺย ส วิศฺวสฺย คตวานฺฯ
51 And as he was nowe going downe, his seruants met him, saying, Thy sonne liueth.
คมนกาเล มารฺคมเธฺย ทาสาสฺตํ สากฺษาตฺปฺราปฺยาวทนฺ ภวต: ปุโตฺร'ชีวีตฺฯ
52 Then enquired he of them the houre when he began to amend. And they said vnto him, Yesterday the seuenth houre the feuer left him.
ตต: กํ กาลมารภฺย โรคปฺรตีการารมฺโภ ชาตา อิติ ปฺฤษฺเฏ ไตรุกฺตํ หฺย: สารฺทฺธทณฺฑทฺวยาธิกทฺวิตียยาเม ตสฺย ชฺวรตฺยาโค'ภวตฺฯ
53 Then the father knew, that it was the same houre in the which Iesus had said vnto him, Thy sonne liueth. And he beleeued, and all his houshold.
ตทา ยีศุสฺตสฺมินฺ กฺษเณ โปฺรกฺตวานฺ ตว ปุโตฺร'ชีวีตฺ ปิตา ตทฺพุทฺธฺวา สปริวาโร วฺยศฺวสีตฺฯ
54 This second miracle did Iesus againe, after he was come out of Iudea into Galile.
ยิหูทียเทศาทฺ อาคตฺย คาลีลิ ยีศุเรตทฺ ทฺวิตียมฺ อาศฺจรฺยฺยกรฺมฺมากโรตฺฯ
