< John 12 >

1 Then Iesus, sixe dayes before the Passeouer, came to Bethania, where Lazarus was, who died, whom he had raised from the dead.
Lasarus naa, naeni atahori mana mateꞌ fo Yesus tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ a.
2 There they made him a supper, and Martha serued: but Lazarus was one of them that sate at the table with him.
Marta mana lole-lau mei a. Lasarus endoꞌ naꞌabꞌue no Yesus sia mei a.
3 Then tooke Mary a pound of oyntment of Spikenarde very costly, and anoynted Iesus feete, and wiped his feete with her heare, and the house was filled with the sauour of the oyntment.
4 Then said one of his disciples, euen Iudas Iscariot Simons sonne, which should betray him:
Te Yesus ana mana tunggan esa, naran Yudas Iskariot, dei fo mana seo hendi Yesus a, olaꞌ nae,
5 Why was not this oyntment sold for three hundreth pence, and giuen to the poore?
“Woi! Taꞌo bee de ana nda seo mina maꞌameniꞌ ia sa? Huu felin baꞌu onaꞌ atahori sa nggadꞌin too esa. Malole lenaꞌ seo e, fo doin fee neu atahori mana tudꞌa-loloeꞌ ra!”
6 Nowe he said this, not that he cared for the poore, but because hee was a theefe, and had the bagge, and bare that which was giuen.
7 Then said Iesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying she kept it.
Te Yesus nataa nae, “Hela inaꞌ a tao taꞌo naa. Huu ana mbedaꞌ mina maꞌameniꞌ ia, fo sadia memaꞌ fee Au ao-sisi ngga fo raꞌoi Au.
8 For the poore alwayes yee haue with you, but me ye shall not haue alwayes.
Atahori mana tudꞌa-loloeꞌ ra sia ro hei rakandooꞌ a sia taladꞌa mara.
9 Then much people of the Iewes knewe that hee was there: and they came, not for Iesus sake onely, but that they might see Lazarus also, whome he had raysed from the dead.
Atahori Yahudi hetar bubꞌuluꞌ rae, Yesus sia kambo Betania. De ara rema rae rita E. Ara o rema rae rita Lasarus boe. Huu ara rena oi, Yesus tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ Lasarus mia mamaten ena.
10 The hie Priestes therefore consulted, that they might put Lazarus to death also,
Te malangga agama ra malangga nara ola-olaꞌ sangga dalaꞌ rae tao risa Lasarus boe.
11 Because that for his sake many of the Iewes went away, and beleeued in Iesus.
Huu atahori Yahudi hetar rena soꞌal Lasarus dudꞌuin, de ara ramahere Yesus. Ara nda nau rena atahori Yahudi ra malangga nara sa ena.
12 On the morowe a great multitude that were come to the feast, when they heard that Iesus should come to Hierusalem,
Mbilaꞌ neu ma, atahori hetar mana rema tungga fefeta Paska sia kota Yerusalem, rena rala rae, Yesus nae nema sia naa boe.
13 Tooke branches of palme trees, and went foorth to meete him, and cried, Hosanna, Blessed is the King of Israel that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
De ara reu beta palma rooꞌ fo simbo rendiꞌ neu Yesus neneman, onaꞌ Eni atahori monaen. Boe ma ara nggasi randaa rae, “Hosana! Hai koa-kio Lamatualain! Huu Lamatualain natudꞌu rala malolen neu Israꞌel ra Manen, mana nema nendi Lamatualain naran!”
14 And Iesus found a yong asse, and sate thereon, as it is written,
Boe ma Yesus hambu banda keledei tenaꞌ esa, de Ana sae neu ata. Naa onaꞌ nenesuraꞌ sia Lamatualain Susura Meumaren nae,
15 Feare not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King commeth sitting on an asses colte.
“Hei atahori kota Yerusalem, afiꞌ mimitau, o! Hei atahori kota ‘Sion’ ia, mete sia naa dei! Huu hei Manem nema ena! Ana nema sae keledei tenaꞌ esa.”
16 But his disciples vnderstoode not these thinges at the first: but when Iesus was glorified, then remembred they, that these thinges were written of him, and that they had done these things vnto him.
Leleꞌ naa, Yesus ana mana tungga nara nda rahine dalaꞌ ia ra sosoan sa. Te dei fo, leleꞌ Ana nasodꞌa baliꞌ mia mamaten, ma Lamatualain soꞌu nanaru E, dei de ara rasanedꞌa dala-dalaꞌ fo Lamatualain Susura Meumaren suraꞌ soꞌal Eni. Ara o rasanedꞌa atahori ia ra tatao nara mbali E boe.
17 The people therefore that was with him, bare witnesse that hee called Lazarus out of the graue, and raised him from the dead.
Leleꞌ Yesus tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ Lasarus mia mamaten, ma noꞌe nala e dea nema mia rates a, hambu atahori hetar raꞌabꞌue ro Yesus. Dadꞌi ia na, ara dui-bꞌengga leli soꞌal saa fo dalahulun ara mete ritaꞌ a.
18 Therefore mette him the people also, because they heard that he had done this miracle.
Naa de atahori hetar rema soru Yesus deka-deka no Yerusalem, huu ara rena rae, Ana tao manadadꞌi-manaseliꞌ ra ena.
19 And the Pharises said among themselues, Perceiue ye howe ye preuaile nothing? Beholde, the worlde goeth after him.
De atahori Farisi ra ola-olaꞌ rae, “Cii! Mita dei! Basa atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia sebꞌo-mue fo rae tungga E! Dei fo neu mateꞌen, hita mana susa! Mete ma taꞌo naa, na, hita tae tao taꞌo bee fai?”
20 Nowe there were certaine Greekes among them that came vp to worship at the feast.
Hambu atahori Yunani hira o rema sia kota Yerusalem ramaloloꞌ ro atahori laen ra, fo rae tungga fefeta Paska sia naa. Ara rae beꞌutee neu Lamatualain sia naa boe.
21 And they came to Philippe, which was of Bethsaida in Galile, and desired him, saying, Syr, we would see that Iesus.
Boe ma ara rema randaa ro Filipus, mana nema mia kambo Betsaida sia profinsi Galilea. Ara roꞌe rae, “Aꞌa! Hai mae mindaa mo Yesus.”
22 Philippe came and tolde Andrew: and againe Andrew and Philippe tolde Iesus.
Basa de Filipus neu nafadꞌe Anderias. Boe ma ruꞌa se reu olaꞌ ro Yesus.
23 And Iesus answered them, saying, The houre is come, that the Sonne of man must bee glorified.
De Yesus nafadꞌe ruꞌa se nae, “Au fai ngga nema ena. Dadꞌi Au musi mate dei, dei fo Lamatualain soꞌu nananaru Au. Naa tebꞌeꞌ! Ata taꞌasasamaꞌ no fini esa. Mete ma hita sela are fini dekeꞌ esa, na, ana musi noe sia rae rala, dei fo ana mori, fo nabuna-naboa hetar. Huu mete ma nda taꞌo naa sa, eni dadꞌiꞌ a are dekeꞌ esa taꞌo a naa ena.
24 Verely, verely I say vnto you, Except the wheate corne fall into the grounde and die, it bideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth foorth much fruite.
25 He that loueth his life, shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keepe it vnto life eternall. (aiōnios g166)
Atahori nda mana taoafiꞌ neu Lamatualain hihiin sa, huu sue naseliꞌ masodꞌan sia raefafoꞌ ia, dei fo masodꞌaꞌ naa noe hendi e. Te atahori mana nahehere fee masodꞌan sia raefafoꞌ ia, dei fo hambu masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ nda mana basaꞌ a sa. (aiōnios g166)
26 If any man serue me, let him follow me: for where I am, there shall also my seruant be: and if any man serue me, him will my Father honour.
27 Now is my soule troubled: and what shall I say? Father, saue me from this houre: but therefore came I vnto this houre.
Yesus tute oꞌolan nae, “Au umedꞌa rala ngga susa. Te Au ae taꞌo bee fai? Au musi oꞌe ae, ‘Amaꞌ! Mboꞌiꞌ Au, naa fo au afiꞌ mate leleꞌ ia,’ do? Hokoꞌ! Au nda oꞌe taꞌo naa sa, huu Ana denu Au uma, fo mate.
28 Father, glorifie thy Name. Then came there a voyce from heauen, saying, I haue both glorified it, and will glorifie it againe.
Dadi Au oꞌe, taꞌo ia: ‘Amaꞌ. Hela neu, Au tunggaꞌ a Amaꞌ hihiin, naa fo basa atahori soꞌu rananaru Amaꞌ naran.’” Boe ma haraꞌ esa mia lalai a nae, “Au soꞌu unanaru nara Ngga ena. Ma Au ae soꞌu unanaru seluꞌ fai.”
29 Then saide the people that stoode by, and heard, that it was a thunder: other said, An Angel spake to him.
Lalai a ndukurulu!” Hambu atahori ruma fai rae, “Hokoꞌ! Lamatualain aten esa mia sorga ola-olaꞌ no E.”
30 Iesus answered, and said, This voyce came not because of me, but for your sakes.
Te Yesus nafadꞌe nae, “Haraꞌ naa faꞌ ra, soaꞌ neu nggi, nda soaꞌ neu Au sa.
31 Now is the iudgement of this world: nowe shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Leleꞌ ia, atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia musi rataa mbali Lamatualain, fo Ana naꞌetuꞌ dedꞌeat nara. Ana nae use-oi hendi mana tao deꞌulakaꞌ mana toꞌu parendaꞌ sia raefafoꞌ ia.
32 And I, if I were lift vp from the earth, will drawe all men vnto me.
33 Nowe this sayd he, signifying what death he should die.
(Eni oꞌolan taꞌo naa, fo natudꞌu dei fo Eni mate no dalaꞌ onaꞌ bee.)
34 The people answered him, We haue heard out of the Law, that that Christ bideth for euer: and howe sayest thou, that that Sonne of man must be lift vp? Who is that Sonne of man? (aiōn g165)
Basa ma, atahori mana sia naa ra ratane rae, “Hai parna rena mia Lamatualain Hohoro-lalanen nae, dei fo Kristus nasodꞌa nakandoo. Naa, Kristus no Atahori Matetuꞌ naa, ona esaꞌ, to? Dadꞌi taꞌo bee de malangga nae, ‘Dei fo ara londa Atahori Matetuꞌ a sia hau ngganggeꞌ a?’ Atahori Matetuꞌ naa, seka?” (aiōn g165)
35 Then Iesus sayd vnto them, Yet a litle while is the light with you: walke while ye haue that light, lest the darkenes come vpon you: for hee that walketh in the darke, knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 While ye haue that light, beleeue in that light, that ye may be the children of the light. These things spake Iesus, and departed, and hid himselfe from them.
Leleꞌ Au manggarelo ngga, feꞌe sia, hei musi mimihere Au, naa fo hei dadꞌi atahori mana nasodꞌa sia manggareloꞌ a, bubꞌuluꞌ hei mii sia bee.” Yesus olaꞌ basa onaꞌ naa, ma Ana dinggoꞌ hela atahori naa ra, fo Eni bisa mesaꞌ ne.
37 And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet beleeued they not on him,
Mae Yesus tao manadadꞌi-manaseliꞌ hetar sia atahori hetar matan ena o, ara nda nau ramahere E sa.
38 That the saying of Esaias the Prophete might be fulfilled, that he sayd, Lord, who beleeued our report? and to whome is the arme of the Lord reueiled?
Naa onaꞌ Lamatualain mana ola-olan, Yesaya, parna olaꞌ memaꞌ nae, “Lamatuaꞌ e! Nda hambu atahori ramahere hai oꞌolam sa! Onaꞌ mae Lamatuaꞌ mutudꞌu koasa ma ena o, te atahori ra nda rita saa-saa sa boe!”
39 Therefore could they not beleeue, because that Esaias saith againe,
Naa de atahori Yahudi ra ruma nda bisa ramahere Lamatualain leleꞌ ia sa, onaꞌ Yesaya suraꞌ sia mamanaꞌ laen nae,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they shoulde not see with their eyes, nor vnderstand with their heart, and should be conuerted, and I should heale them.
“Lamatualain tao rala nara nda dudꞌuꞌa ralaꞌ sa, naa fo ara nda bisa rita saa sa boe. Ana hela rala nara boe manggateeꞌ, fo ara afiꞌ rahine no matetuꞌ. Hela se taꞌoꞌ a naa ena, fo ara afiꞌ heoꞌ baliꞌ sangga Au fai, ma Au o sudꞌi boe uꞌuhahaiꞌ se fai.”
41 These things sayd Esaias when he sawe his glory, and spake of him.
42 Neuertheles, euen among the chiefe rulers, many beleeued in him: but because of the Pharises they did not confesse him, least they should be cast out of the Synagogue.
Onaꞌ mae taꞌo naa o, atahori hetar ramahere Yesus.
43 For they loued the prayse of men, more then the prayse of God.
Malangga naa ra nda taoafiꞌ itaꞌ mae Lamatualain nae koa se do hokoꞌ sa, huu ara hii lenaꞌ simbo kokoat mia atahori.
44 And Iesus cryed, and sayd, He that beleeueth in me, beleeueth not in me, but in him that sent me.
Basa ma Yesus olaꞌ nahereꞌ nae, “Atahori mana namahere Au a, ana nda namahere neu akaꞌ Au mesaꞌ nggo sa, te ana o namahere neu Mana denu Au a.
45 And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoeuer beleeueth in me, should not abide in darkenes.
Au uma fo dadꞌi onaꞌ manggareloꞌ sia raefafoꞌ ia. Naa fo basa atahori mana ramahere Au a nda rasodꞌa sia maꞌahatuꞌ a sa.
47 And if any man heare my wordes, and beleeue not, I iudge him not: for I came not to iudge the world, but to saue the world.
48 He that refuseth me, and receiueth not my wordes, hath one that iudgeth him: the worde that I haue spoken, it shall iudge him in the last day.
Huu mete ma losa fai mateteꞌen, Dedꞌea-oꞌola ngga fo Au olaꞌ itaꞌ ra, dei fo mana naꞌetuꞌ atahori mataꞌ naa ra huku-dokin.
49 For I haue not spoken of my selfe: but the Father which sent me, hee gaue me a commandement what I should say, and what I should speake.
Huu Au nda parna olaꞌ endiꞌ akaꞌ Au mesaꞌ nggo nara Ngga sa. Te Au olaꞌ endiꞌ Ama ngga sia sorga naran. Huu Eni, mana denu Au. Ma Eni mana parenda fo Au musi olaꞌ saa.
50 And I knowe that his commandement is life euerlasting: the thinges therefore that I speake, I speake them so as the Father sayde vnto me. (aiōnios g166)
Au o bubꞌuluꞌ ae, Eni parendan nendi masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ nda mana basaꞌ sa. Naa de Au oꞌola ngga tungga matetuꞌ no saa fo Ama ngga denu Au olaꞌ.” (aiōnios g166)
