Job 9
1 Then Iob answered, and sayd,
১তেতিয়া ইয়োবে পুনৰ উত্তৰ দিলে আৰু ক’লে,
2 I knowe verily that it is so: for howe should man compared vnto God, be iustified?
২“মই নিশ্চয়ে জানো, সেই কথা স্বৰূপ; কিন্তু এজন ব্যক্তি কেনেকৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে ধাৰ্মিক হ’ব পাৰে?
3 If I would dispute with him, hee could not answere him one thing of a thousand.
৩যদি তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে বাদানুবাদ কৰিব খোজে, তেন্তে তেওঁক হাজাৰ কথাৰ মাজৰ এটিৰো উত্তৰ দিব নোৱাৰিব।
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath bene fierce against him and hath prospered?
৪ঈশ্বৰৰ অন্তৰত জ্ঞান আছে, আৰু শক্তিত তেওঁ পৰাক্ৰমী; তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ডিঙি ঠৰ কৰি কোনে কেতিয়া উন্নতি লাভ কৰিলে?
5 He remoueth the mountaines, and they feele not when he ouerthroweth them in his wrath.
৫তেওঁ পৰ্ব্বতবোৰ স্থানান্তৰ কৰে; আৰু তেওঁ সেইবোৰক নিজ ক্ৰোধত লুটিয়াই পেলাওঁতে সেইবোৰে একো গম নাপায়।
6 Hee remooueth the earth out of her place, that the pillars thereof doe shake.
৬তেওঁ পৃথিবীক জোকাৰি নিজ ঠাইৰ পৰা লৰায়; তাৰ স্তম্ভবোৰ থৰথৰকৈ কঁপে।
7 He commandeth the sunne, and it riseth not: hee closeth vp the starres, as vnder a signet.
৭এইজনা সেই একে ঈশ্বৰ, যি জনাই ক’লে সূৰ্য উদয় নহয়; আৰু তেওঁ তৰাবোৰ বন্ধ কৰি মোহৰ মাৰে।
8 Hee himselfe alone spreadeth out the heauens, and walketh vpon the height of the sea.
৮তেওঁ অকলেই আকাশ-মণ্ডলক বিস্তাৰিত কৰে, আৰু ঢৌবোৰৰ ওপৰেদি অহা-যোৱা কৰে।
9 He maketh the starres Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the climates of the South.
৯তেওঁ সপ্তৰ্ষি, মৃগশীৰ্ষ, কৃত্তিকা, আৰু দক্ষিণদিশে থকা নক্ষত্ৰ-ৰাশিৰ সৃষ্টিকৰ্ত্তা।
10 He doeth great things, and vnsearcheable: yea, marueilous things without nomber.
১০অনুসদ্ধান পাব নোৱাৰা মহৎ কৰ্ম তেওঁ কৰে; অসংখ্য অদ্ভুত কাৰ্যও তেৱেঁই কৰে।
11 Lo, when he goeth by me, I see him not: and when he passeth by, I perceiue him not.
১১চোৱা, তেওঁ মোৰ ওচৰেদি যায়, কিন্তু মই নেদেখোঁ; তেওঁ মোৰ সম্মুখেদি গমন কৰে, তথাপি মই তেওঁক অনুভৱ নকৰোঁ।
12 Behold, when he taketh a pray, who can make him to restore it? who shall say vnto him, What doest thou?
১২চোৱা, তেওঁ ধৰি নিলে তেওঁক কোনে নিবাৰণ কৰিব পাৰে? তুমি কি কৰিছা বুলি তেওঁক কোনে কব পাৰে?
13 God will not withdrawe his anger, and the most mightie helpes doe stoupe vnder him.
১৩ঈশ্বৰে নিজৰ ক্ৰোধ উঠাই নলয়; এনে কি ৰাহবক সহায় কৰোঁতাবোৰো তেওঁৰ সন্মুখত নত হয়।
14 Howe much lesse shall I answere him? or howe should I finde out my words with him?
১৪মই কেনেকৈ তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিম? তেওঁক কাৰণ দেখুৱাবলৈ মই নো কেনেকৈ কথা বাচি লম?
15 For though I were iust, yet could I not answere, but I would make supplication to my Iudge.
১৫মই যদি ধাৰ্মিকো হওঁ, তথাপি তেওঁক মই উত্তৰ দিব নোৱাৰোঁ; মোৰ অভিযোক্তাৰ দয়াৰ বাবে মই মাথোন নিবেদনহে কৰিব পাৰোঁ।
16 If I cry, and he answere me, yet woulde I not beleeue, that he heard my voyce.
১৬যদিও মই মাতো আৰু তেওঁ মোক উত্তৰ দিয়ে; তথাপি তেওঁ যে মোৰ মিনতিলৈ কাণ পাতিব, মোৰ এনে বিশ্বাস নজন্মে।
17 For he destroyeth mee with a tempest, and woundeth me without cause.
১৭তেওঁ মোক প্ৰবল ধুমুহাৰে ভাঙিব, আৰু অকাৰণে মোক বাৰে বাৰে ক্ষতবিক্ষতহে কৰিব।
18 He wil not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitternesse.
১৮তেওঁ মোক উশাহকে ল’ব নিদিব, কিন্তু মোক তিতাৰেহে পৰিপূৰ্ণ কৰিব।
19 If we speake of strength, behold, he is strog: if we speake of iudgement, who shall bring me in to pleade?
১৯পৰাক্ৰমীৰ বলৰ কথাত হলে, তেওঁ কয়, চোৱা, মই আছোঁ, আৰু যদি বিচাৰৰ কথাত কয়, কোনে মোৰ নিমিত্তে দিন নিৰূপণ কৰিব?
20 If I woulde iustifie my selfe, mine owne mouth shall condemne mee: if I would be perfite, he shall iudge me wicked.
২০মই ধাৰ্মিক হলেও মোৰ মুখে মোক দোষী কৰিব; মই সিদ্ধ হলেও তেওঁ মোক অপৰাধী পাতিব।
21 Though I were perfite, yet I knowe not my soule: therefore abhorre I my life.
২১মই সিদ্ধ, মই নিজ প্ৰাণক নামনি ইয়াকে কওঁ; জীৱনত মোৰ ঘিণ লাগিছে।
22 This is one point: therefore I said, Hee destroyeth the perfite and the wicked.
২২সকলো বিষয়তে একে, সেই দেখি মই কওঁ, তেওঁ সিদ্ধ আৰু দুৰ্জন এই দুয়োকো সংহাৰ কৰে।
23 If the scourge should suddenly slay, should God laugh at the punishment of the innocent?
২৩আপদৰূপ চাবুকে যদি মানুহক অকস্মাতে মাৰি পেলায়, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিৰ্দ্দোষীবিলাকৰ নিৰাশা দেখি হাঁহিব।
24 The earth is giuen into the hand of ye wicked: he couereth the faces of the iudges therof: if not, where is he? or who is he?
২৪পৃথিৱী দুৰ্জনৰ হাতত শোধাই দিয়া হয়; তেওঁ তাৰ বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তাবিলাকৰ মুখ ঢাকে; যদি তেওঁ নহয়, তেন্তে তাকনো কোনে কৰে?
25 My dayes haue bene more swift then a post: they haue fled, and haue seene no good thing.
২৫মোৰ দিন কেইটা ডাকৱালাতকৈয়ো বেগী; একো মঙ্গল নেদেখাকৈ সেইবোৰ বেগাই যায়।
26 They are passed as with the most swift ships, and as the eagle that flyeth to the pray.
২৬সেইবোৰ বেগী নাৱৰ দৰে চলি যায়, বা আহাৰৰ ওপৰত চোঁ মৰা ঈগল পক্ষী নিচিনাকৈ উৰি যায়।
27 If I say, I wil forget my complaynt, I will cease from my wrath, and comfort mee,
২৭যদিও মই কওঁ যে, মোৰ দুখৰ কথা পাহৰি যাম, আৰু ম্লানমুখ দূৰ কৰি প্ৰসন্ন হম,
28 Then I am afrayd of all my sorowes, knowing that thou wilt not iudge me innocent.
২৮তথাপি তুমি মোক নিৰ্দ্দোষী জ্ঞান নকৰিবা বুলি জানি, মোৰ সকলো যাতনাত মই জিকাৰ খাই উঠো।
29 If I be wicked, why labour I thus in vaine?
২৯মই দোষী হবই লাগিব; তেতিয়া হ’লে কিয় মই অনৰ্থক পৰিশ্ৰম কৰোঁ?
30 If I wash my selfe with snowe water, and purge mine hands most cleane,
৩০যদি মই হিমৰ পানীত গা ধোওঁ, আৰু খাৰেৰে হাত চাফা কৰোঁ,
31 Yet shalt thou plunge mee in the pit, and mine owne clothes shall make me filthie.
৩১তথাপি তুমি মোক খালত জুবুৰিয়াবা, আৰু মোৰ নিজৰ বস্ত্ৰয়ো মোক ঘিণ কৰিব।
32 For he is not a man as I am, that I shoulde answere him, if we come together to iudgement.
৩২কিয়নো তেওঁ মোৰ নিচিনা মানুহ নহয় যে, মই তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিম, বা দুয়ো একে-লগে বিচাৰস্থানলৈ যাম।
33 Neyther is there any vmpire that might lay his hand vpon vs both.
৩৩আমাৰ দুয়োৰো ওপৰত হাত দিব পৰা এনেকুৱা মধ্যস্থ কোনো নাই।
34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his feare astonish me:
৩৪তেওঁ মোৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা বিচাৰৰ দণ্ডডাল আঁতৰাওক, আৰু তেওঁৰ ভয়ানকতাই মোক ভয় নলগাওক;
35 Then will I speake, and feare him not: but because I am not so, I holde me still.
৩৫তেতিয়া মই কথা কম, তেওঁক ভয় নকৰিম; কিয়নো মই নিজে তেনেকুৱা নহওঁ।
