Job 5
1 Call nowe, if any will answere thee, and to which of the Saintes wilt thou turne?
Sumangpit ka karon; anaa ba ing bisan kinsa nga motubag kanimo? Ug kinsa sa mga balaan ang imong kapasingadtoan?
2 Doubtlesse anger killeth the foolish, and enuie slayeth the idiote.
Kay ang kalibog mopatay sa tawong buang-buang, Ug ang kasina molaglag sa tawong pahong.
3 I haue seene the foolish well rooted, and suddenly I cursed his habitation, saying,
Nakita ko ang buang nga nakagamot: Apan sa gilayon gihimaraut ko ang iyang puloy-anan.
4 His children shalbe farre from saluation, and they shall be destroyed in the gate, and none shall deliuer them.
Ang iyang mga anak halayo sa kaluwasan, Ug sa ganghaan sila nangadugmok, Sila walay bisan kinsa nga magaluwas kanila:
5 The hungrie shall eate vp his haruest: yea, they shall take it from among the thornes, and the thirstie shall drinke vp their substance.
Ang iyang alanihon sa mga gigutom pagakan-on, Ug kana, bisan sa katunokan pagakuhaon; Ug ang giuhaw sa bahandi motulon.
6 For miserie commeth not foorth of the dust, neither doeth affliction spring out of the earth.
Kay ang kasakit dili magagikan sa abug, Ni ang kasamok magagula gikan sa yuta:
7 But man is borne vnto trauaile, as the sparkes flie vpwarde.
Apan ang tawo ngadto sa kasakit natawo, Ingon nga ang aligato sa itaas mopaingon.
8 But I would inquire at God, and turne my talke vnto God:
Apan sa akong bahin, ang Dios maoy akong pangitaon, Ug sa Dios ang akong tuyo adto ko igatugyan;
9 Which doeth great things and vnsearchable, and marueilous things without nomber.
Nga nagabuhat sa mga dagkung butang ug dili matukib, Mga butang katingalahan nga dili maihap;
10 He giueth raine vpon the earth, and powreth water vpon the streetes,
Nga sa kalibutan nagahatag ug ulan, Ug sa kabaulan nagpadala ug tubig;
11 And setteth vp on hie them that be lowe, that the sorowfull may be exalted to saluation.
Sa pagkaagi nga kadtong mga atua sa ubos ngadto sa itaas iyang gipahamutang, Ug kadtong nanagbakho ngadto sa kaluwasan ginabayaw.
12 He scattereth the deuices of the craftie: so that their handes can not accomplish that which they doe enterprise.
Siya magasumpo sa mga hunahuna sa malimbungon, Sa pagkaagi nga ang ilang mga kamot dili makahimo sa ilang mga bulohaton.
13 He taketh the wise in their craftinesse, and the counsel of the wicked is made foolish.
Siya magadakup sa mga maalam diha sa ilang kaugalingong kabatid: Ug ang sabutsabut sa mga guatsinanggo mahimong pakyas.
14 They meete with darkenesse in the day time, and grope at noone day, as in the night.
Ang kadulom maoy ilang ihibalag sa maadlaw, Ug sa udto magasukarap sila ingon sa magabii.
15 But he saueth the poore from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hande of the violent man,
Apan siya nagaluwas gikan sa espada sa ilang baba, Bisan ang mga kabus gikan sa kamot sa mga makagagahum.
16 So that the poore hath his hope, but iniquitie shall stop her mouth.
Busa ang kabus may palaabuton, Ug ang kasal-anan magatak-om sa baba niya.
17 Beholde, blessed is the man whome God correcteth: therefore refuse not thou the chastising of the Almightie.
Ania karon, bulahan ang tawo nga pagabadlongon sa Dios: Busa ayaw pagbiaybiay sa mga castigo sa Makagagahum.
18 For he maketh the wound, and bindeth it vp: he smiteth, and his handes make whole.
Kay siya magahatag sa sakit ug pagabugkosan; Siya magasamad ug ang iyang mga kamot maoy magaayo.
19 He shall deliuer thee in sixe troubles, and in the seuenth the euill shall not touch thee.
Siya magaluwas kanimo sa unom ka kasamok; Oo, bisan sa pipito ang kadaut dili makadapat kanimo.
20 In famine he shall deliuer thee from death: and in battel from the power of the sworde.
Sa tinggutom magaluwas siya kanimo gikan sa kamatayon; Ug sa gubat gikan sa kagahum sa espada.
21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue, and thou shalt not be afraid of destruction when it commeth.
Ikaw pagatagoan gikan sa hampak sa dila; Ni malisang ikaw sa pagkalaglag sa modangat kini.
22 But thou shalt laugh at destruction and dearth, and shalt not be afraide of the beast of the earth.
Ang pagkalaglag ug tinggutom imong pagakataw-an; Ni malisang ikaw sa mga mananap sa yuta.
23 For the stones of the fielde shall be in league with thee, and the beastes of the field shall be at peace with thee.
Kay ikaw magpakig-uyon sa mga bato sa kapatagan; Ug ang mga mananap sa kapatagan makigdait kanimo.
24 And thou shalt knowe, that peace shall be in thy tabernacle, and thou shalt visite thine habitation, and shalt not sinne.
Ug ikaw masayud nga ang imong balong-balong anaa sa pakigdait; Ug ikaw modu-aw sa imong pinuy-anan ug kanimo walay mawala.
25 Thou shalt perceiue also, that thy seede shalbe great, and thy posteritie as the grasse of the earth.
Ikaw masayud usab nga ang imong kaliwat mahimong daku, Ug ang imong anak sama sa kabalilihan sa yuta.
26 Thou shalt goe to thy graue in a ful age, as a ricke of corne commeth in due season into the barne.
Ikaw moadto sa imong lubnganan sa hingkud nga panuigon, Sama sa usa ka tapok sa trigo nga maani sa iyang panahon.
27 Lo, thus haue we inquired of it, and so it is: heare this and knowe it for thy selfe.
Ania karon, kana atong gisusi, busa mao man kana; Patalinghugi kana, ug kana tulotimbanga alang sa imong kaayohan.
