Job 41
1 Canst thou drawe out Liuiathan with an hooke, and with a line which thou shalt cast downe vnto his tongue?
੧“ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਲਿਵਯਾਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੰਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਖਿੱਚ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾਂ ਡੋਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
2 Canst thou cast an hooke into his nose? canst thou perce his iawes with an angle?
੨ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਸਾ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਬਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਖ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
3 Will he make many prayers vnto thee, or speake thee faire?
੩ਕੀ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਹੁਤੀਆਂ ਮਿੰਨਤਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿੱਠੀਆਂ-ਮਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ?
4 Will hee make a couenant with thee? and wilt thou take him as a seruant for euer?
੪ਕੀ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਰੱਖੇਂ?
5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bynd him for thy maydes?
੫ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਡੇਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੰਛੀ ਨਾਲ, ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੀ ਬਹਿਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ?
6 Shall the companions baket with him? shall they deuide him among the marchants?
੬ਕੀ ਮਾਛੀ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡਣਗੇ?
7 Canst thou fill the basket with his skinne? or the fishpanier with his head?
੭ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਖੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਛਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਛੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ?
8 Lay thine hand vpon him: remember the battel, and do no more so.
੮ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਰੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ!
9 Behold, his hope is in vaine: for shall not one perish euen at the sight of him?
੯ਵੇਖ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਅ ਕੱਚਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ?
10 None is so fearce that dare stirre him vp. Who is he then that can stand before me?
੧੦ਕੋਈ ਐਨੀ ਤੱਤੀ ਤਬੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਛੇੜਨ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਕਰੇ, ਫੇਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੇ?
11 Who hath preuented mee that I shoulde make an ende? Al vnder heauen is mine.
੧੧ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਮੋੜਨਾ ਪਵੇ? ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ।
12 I will not keepe silence concerning his partes, nor his power nor his comely proportion.
੧੨“ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਂ-ਬਲ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦੇ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ।
13 Who can discouer the face of his garmet? or who shall come to him with a double bridle?
੧੩ਕੌਣ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਦਾ ਲਿਬਾਸ ਉਤਾਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੌਣ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਜਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵੇਗਾ?
14 Who shall open the doores of his face? his teeth are fearefull round about.
੧੪ਕੌਣ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਕਵਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ!
15 The maiestie of his scales is like strog shields, and are sure sealed.
੧੫ਉਹ ਦੇ ਛਿਲਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਘਮੰਡ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜਾਣੋ ਘੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ,
16 One is set to another, that no winde can come betweene them.
੧੬ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਐਨੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਹਵਾ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੰਘ ਸਕਦੀ।
17 One is ioyned to another: they sticke together, that they cannot be sundered.
੧੭ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਲੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ।
18 His niesings make the light to shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
੧੮ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਛਿੱਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਾਨਣ ਚਮਕ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਲਕਾਂ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ!
19 Out of his mouth go lampes, and sparkes of fire leape out.
੧੯ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਬਲਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਾਲਾਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਗਿਆੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਡਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
20 Out of his nostrels commeth out smoke, as out of a boyling pot or caldron.
੨੦ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉੱਬਲਦੀ ਦੇਗ ਜਾਂ ਧੁਖਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ!
21 His breath maketh the coales burne: for a flame goeth out of his mouth.
੨੧ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਕੋਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਗਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਅੰਗਾਰੇ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ!
22 In his necke remayneth strength, and labour is reiected before his face.
੨੨ਉਹ ਦੀ ਧੌਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਭੈਅ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੱਚਦਾ ਹੈ!
23 The members of his bodie are ioyned: they are strong in themselues, and cannot be mooued.
੨੩ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਹਿਆਂ ਸਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੰਮੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਹਿੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ।
24 His heart is as strong as a stone, and as hard as the nether milstone.
੨੪ਉਹ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਚੱਕੀ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਪੁੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
25 The mightie are afrayd of his maiestie, and for feare they faint in themselues.
੨੫ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਡਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਨਾਲ ਸੁੱਧ-ਬੁੱਧ ਖੋਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ!
26 When the sword doeth touch him, he will not rise vp, nor for the speare, dart nor habergeon.
੨੬ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਬਰਛੀ ਨਾ ਭਾਲੇ ਨਾ ਤੀਰ ਤੋਂ।
27 He esteemeth yron as strawe, and brasse as rotten wood.
੨੭ਉਹ ਲੋਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਲੱਕੜ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ!
28 The archer canot make him flee: ye stones of the sling are turned into stubble vnto him:
੨੮ਤੀਰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ, ਗੁਲੇਲ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਣਕੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
29 The dartes are counted as strawe: and hee laugheth at the shaking of the speare.
੨੯ਲਾਠੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਤਿਣਕੇ ਦੇ ਤੁੱਲ ਗਿਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸਾਂਗ ਦੇ ਖੜਕਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
30 Sharpe stones are vnder him, and he spreadeth sharpe things vpon the myre.
੩੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਠੀਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜਾਣੋ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਲ੍ਹਾ ਫੇਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
31 He maketh the depth to boyle like a pot, and maketh the sea like a pot of oyntment.
੩੧ਉਹ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਛਾਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਲ੍ਹਮ ਦੀ ਡੱਬੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
32 He maketh a path to shine after him: one would thinke the depth as an hoare head.
੩੨ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚਮਕੀਲਾ ਰਾਹ ਛੱਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਈ ਜਾਣੋ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਈ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੌਲੇ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
33 In the earth there is none like him: hee is made without feare.
੩੩ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤੁੱਲ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੌਫ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ!
34 He beholdeth al hie things: he is a King ouer all the children of pride.
੩੪ਉਹ ਹਰੇਕ ਉੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ।”
