Job 40
1 Moreouer ye Lord spake vnto Iob, and said,
૧યહોવાહે અયૂબને ઉત્તર આપતાં કહ્યું કે,
2 Is this to learne to striue with the Almightie? he that reprooueth God, let him answere to it.
૨“જે કોઈ દલીલ કરવાની ઇચ્છા રાખે તે શું સર્વશક્તિમાન ઈશ્વરને સુધારી શકે? જે ઈશ્વર સાથે દલીલ કરે છે તે જવાબ આપે.”
3 Then Iob answered the Lord, saying,
૩ત્યારે અયૂબે યહોવાહને જવાબ આપતાં કહ્યું કે,
4 Beholde, I am vile: what shall I answere thee? I will lay mine hand vpon my mouth.
૪“હું અર્થહીન છું; હું તમને કેવી રીતે જવાબ આપી શકું? હું મારો હાથ મારા મોં પર રાખું છું.
5 Once haue I spoken, but I will answere no more, yea twise, but I will proceede no further.
૫હું એક વખત બોલ્યો, પણ, હું ફરીથી બોલીશ નહિ; હા, હું બે વખત બોલ્યો, પણ હવે હું વધારે કંઈ બોલીશ નહિ.”
6 Againe the Lord answered Iob out of the whirle winde, and said,
૬પછી યહોવાહે વંટોળિયા મારફતે અયૂબને જવાબ આપ્યો કે,
7 Girde vp now thy loynes like a man: I will demaunde of thee, and declare thou vnto me.
૭“હવે બળવાનની માફક જવાબ આપ, હું તને પ્રશ્ન પૂછીશ અને તારે તેનો જવાબ આપવાનો છે.
8 Wilt thou disanul my iudgement? or wilt thou condemne me, that thou mayst be iustified?
૮શું તું માને છે કે હું અન્યાયી છું? તું ન્યાયી સાબિત થાય માટે શું તું મને દોષિત સાબિત કરીશ?
9 Or hast thou an arme like God? or doest thou thunder with a voyce like him?
૯તને ઈશ્વરના જેવા હાથ છે? શું તું ગર્જના કરી શકે છે?
10 Decke thy selfe now with maiestie and excellencie, and aray thy selfe with beautie and glory.
૧૦તો હવે તું ગર્વ અને મહિમા ધારણ કર; તો માન અને પ્રતિષ્ઠાને વસ્ત્રોની જેમ પરિધાન કર.
11 Cast abroad the indignation of thy wrath, and beholde euery one that is proude, and abase him.
૧૧તારા કોપનો ઊભરો ગર્વિષ્ઠો પર રેડી દે; તેના પર દ્રષ્ટિ કરીને તેને નીચો પાડ.
12 Looke on euery one that is arrogant, and bring him lowe: and destroy the wicked in their place.
૧૨જે કોઈ અહંકારી હોય તેને નમ્ર બનાવ; દુષ્ટો જ્યાં ઉપસ્થિત હોય તે સ્થાનને કચડી નાખ.
13 Hide them in the dust together, and binde their faces in a secret place.
૧૩તે સર્વ લોકોને એકસાથે ધૂળમાં દાટી દે; તેઓના મુખને કબરોમાં ઢાંકી દે.
14 Then will I confesse vnto thee also, that thy right hand can saue thee.
૧૪પછી હું પણ તને માન્ય કરીશ કે, તું તારા પોતાના જમણા હાથથી પોતાને બચાવી શકે છે.
15 Behold now Behemoth (whom I made with thee) which eateth grasse as an oxe.
૧૫બહેમોથની સામે જો. મેં તેને અને તને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યા છે, તે બળદની જેમ ઘાસ ખાય છે.
16 Behold now, his strength is in his loynes, and his force is in the nauil of his belly.
૧૬હવે જો, તેનું બળ તેની કમરમાં છે; તેના પેટમાંના સ્નાયુઓમાં સામર્થ્ય છે.
17 When hee taketh pleasure, his taile is like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapt together.
૧૭એની પૂંછડી દેવદાર વૃક્ષની જેમ હાલે છે; એની પગની જાંઘના સ્નાયુઓ કેવા મજબૂત છે.
18 His bones are like staues of brasse, and his small bones like staues of yron.
૧૮તેનાં હાડકાં કાંસાની નળી જેવાં છે; તેના પગ લોખંડના સળિયા જેવા મજબૂત છે.
19 He is the chiefe of the wayes of God: he that made him, will make his sworde to approch vnto him.
૧૯પ્રાણીઓના સર્જનમાં ગેંડો શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. માત્ર ઈશ્વર જ કે જેમણે તેનું સર્જન કર્યું છે તે જ તેને હરાવી શકે છે.
20 Surely the mountaines bring him foorth grasse, where all the beastes of the fielde play.
૨૦જંગલનાં બીજાં પ્રાણીઓ જ્યાં વસે છે; ત્યાં પર્વતો પરથી તેને ઘાસ મળી રહે છે.
21 Lyeth hee vnder the trees in the couert of the reede and fennes?
૨૧તે કાદવ કીચડવાળી જગ્યામાં કમળના છોડ નીચે પડી રહે છે. તે બરુઓની વચ્ચે ભીનાશવાળી જગ્યાઓમાં સંતાય છે.
22 Can the trees couer him with their shadow? or can the willowes of the riuer compasse him about?
૨૨કમળવૃક્ષો તેને પોતાની છાયાથી ઢાંકે છે; તે નદી પાસે ઊગતા વેલા નીચે રહે છે.
23 Behold, he spoyleth the riuer, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw vp Iorden into his mouth.
૨૩જો નદીમાં પૂર આવે, તોપણ તે ધ્રૂજતો નથી; તેનામાં આત્મવિશ્વાસ છે, જો યર્દનમાં પૂર ચઢીને તેના મુખ સુધી પાણી આવે તો પણ તે ગભરાતો નથી.
24 Hee taketh it with his eyes, and thrusteth his nose through whatsoeuer meeteth him.
૨૪શું કોઈ તેને આંકડીમાં ભરાવીને પકડી શકે, અથવા ફાંદા દ્વારા તેનું નાક વીંધી શકે છે?
