Job 39
1 Knowest thou the time when the wilde goates bring foorth yong? or doest thou marke when the hindes doe calue?
“மலை ஆடுகள் குட்டி ஈனும் காலத்தை நீ அறிவாயோ? பெண்மான் குட்டி ஈன்றதை நீ கண்டிருக்கிறாயோ?
2 Canst thou nomber the moneths that they fulfill? or knowest thou the time when they bring foorth?
அவை சினைப்பட்டிருக்கும் மாதங்களை நீ கணக்கிடுவாயோ? அவை குட்டி ஈனும் நேரத்தை நீ அறிவாயோ?
3 They bow them selues: they bruise their yong and cast out their sorowes.
அவை முடங்கிக்கிடந்து தங்கள் குட்டிகளை ஈனும்; குட்டி ஈன்றதும் அவைகளின் வலி நீங்கிவிடும்.
4 Yet their yong waxe fatte, and growe vp with corne: they goe foorth and returne not vnto them.
அவைகளின் குட்டிகள் காடுகளில் பெலனடைந்து வளர்கின்றன, அவை திரும்பவும் தாயிடம் திரும்பி வருவதில்லை.
5 Who hath set the wilde asse at libertie? or who hath loosed the bondes of the wilde asse?
“காட்டுக் கழுதையைச் சுதந்திரமாகத் திரியவிட்டவர் யார்? அதின் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்தவர் யார்?
6 It is I which haue made the wildernesse his house, and the salt places his dwellings.
நானே அதற்குப் பாழ்நிலத்தை வீடாகவும், உவர்நிலத்தைக் குடியிருப்பாகவும் கொடுத்தேன்.
7 He derideth the multitude of the citie: he heareth not the crie of the driuer.
அது பட்டணத்துச் சந்தடியை அலட்சியம் பண்ணுகிறது; ஓட்டுகிறவனுடைய சத்தத்தை அது கேட்பதில்லை.
8 He seeketh out the mountaine for his pasture, and searcheth after euery greene thing.
அது மலைகளைத் தனது மேய்ச்சலிடமாக்குகிறது; அங்கு பச்சைத் தாவரங்களைத் தேடி அலைகிறது.
9 Will the vnicorne serue thee? or will he tary by thy cribbe?
“காட்டெருது உனக்கு சேவைசெய்ய சம்மதிக்குமோ? அது உனது தொழுவத்தில் இரவைக் கழிக்குமோ?
10 Canst thou binde the vnicorne with his band to labour in the furrowe? or will he plowe the valleyes after thee?
காட்டெருதுக்கு மூக்கணாங்கயிறு போட்டு, அதை உன்னால் உழமுடியுமோ? அது உனக்குப்பின் உழுதுகொண்டு வருமோ?
11 Wilt thou trust in him, because his strength is great, and cast off thy labour vnto him?
அதின் மிகுந்த பலத்தை நம்பி, உன் கடின வேலைகளை அதனிடம் விட்டுவிடுவாயோ?
12 Wilt thou beleeue him, that he will bring home thy seede, and gather it vnto thy barne?
அது கதிர்க்கட்டுகளைச் சேர்த்து, சூடடிக்கும் களத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கும் என்று நீ அதை நம்புவாயோ?
13 Hast thou giuen the pleasant wings vnto the peacockes? or winges and feathers vnto the ostriche?
“தீக்கோழி தன் சிறகுகளைச் சந்தோஷத்தோடு விரித்தாலும், நாரையின் சிறகுகளுடனும் சிறகுகளுடனும் அதை ஒப்பிட முடியாது.
14 Which leaueth his egges in the earth, and maketh them hote in the dust,
தீக்கோழி தரையில் முட்டைகளை இட்டு, மணலிலே அவற்றைச் சூடாகும்படி விட்டுவிடுகிறது.
15 And forgetteth that the foote might scatter the, or that the wild beast might breake the.
முட்டைகள் கால்கள்பட்டு நசுங்கிவிடும் என்றோ, காட்டு மிருகங்கள் அவற்றை மிதித்துவிடும் என்றோ அது எண்ணுகிறதில்லை.
16 He sheweth himselfe cruell vnto his yong ones, as they were not his, and is without feare, as if he trauailed in vaine.
அது தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன்னுடையது அல்லாததுபோல் கடுமையாக நடத்தும்; அதின் பிரயாசம் வீணாய் போகிறதென்றும் அது கவலைப்படுவதில்லை.
17 For God had depriued him of wisedom, and hath giuen him no part of vnderstanding.
ஏனெனில், இறைவன் அதற்கு ஞானத்தை கொடுக்கவில்லை; நல்லுணர்வையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை.
18 When time is, he mounteth on hie: he mocketh the horse and his rider.
ஆனாலும் அது ஓடுவதற்கு தன் செட்டைகளை விரிக்கின்றபோது, குதிரையையும் அதில் சவாரி செய்பவனையும் அலட்சியம் பண்ணுகிறது.
19 Hast thou giuen the horse strength? or couered his necke with neying?
“குதிரைக்கு அதின் பலத்தை நீ கொடுக்கிறாயோ? அதின் கழுத்தைப் பிடரிமயிரினால் மூடியது நீயோ?
20 Hast thou made him afraid as the grashopper? his strong neying is fearefull.
நீ குதிரையை வெட்டுக்கிளியைப்போல் பாயப்பண்ணி, அதின் பெருமையான மூச்சுடன் பயங்கரமூட்டப் பண்ணுகிறாயோ?
21 He diggeth in the valley, and reioyceth in his strength: he goeth foorth to meete the harnest man.
அது தன் பெலத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து, தூசியைக் கிளப்பிக்கொண்டு போர்க்களத்திற்குப் பாய்ந்து செல்கிறது.
22 He mocketh at feare, and is not afraid, and turneth not backe from the sworde,
அது பயத்தைக்கண்டு சிரிக்கிறது; ஒன்றுக்கும் கலங்குவதில்லை. அது வாளுக்குப் பயந்து பின்வாங்குவதில்லை.
23 Though the quiuer rattle against him, the glittering speare and the shield.
மினுமினுக்கும் வேலுடனும் ஈட்டியுடனும் அம்புக்கூடு அதனுடைய இடுப்பில் கலகலக்கிறது.
24 He swalloweth the ground for fearcenes and rage, and he beleeueth not that it is the noise of the trumpet.
அது உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டுப் பதற்றத்துடன் தரையில் விரைந்து செல்கிறது; எக்காள சத்தம் கேட்கும்போது, அதினால் அமைதியாய் நிற்கமுடியாது.
25 He sayth among the trumpets, Ha, ha: hee smellleth the battell afarre off, and the noyse of the captaines, and the shouting.
எக்காள முழக்கம் கேட்கும்போது, அது கனைத்து ஆரவாரிக்கும் அது போர்க்களத்தையும், படைத் தலைவர்களின் கூக்குரலையும் தூரத்திலிருந்தே மோப்பம் பிடித்து அறிகிறது.
26 Shall the hauke flie by thy wisedome, stretching out his wings toward the South?
“பருந்து உயரப் பறப்பதும், தெற்கு நோக்கித் தன் சிறகுகளை விரிப்பதும் உன் ஞானத்தினாலேயோ?
27 Doeth the eagle mount vp at thy commandement, or make his nest on hie?
கழுகு மேலே போய் உயரத்தில் தன் கூட்டைக் கட்டுவது உனது கட்டளையினாலேயோ?
28 Shee abideth and remaineth in the rocke, euen vpon the toppe of the rocke, and the tower.
அது இரவில் கற்பாறைகளின் வெடிப்புகளில் தங்குகிறது; செங்குத்தான பாறைகளே அதின் பாதுகாப்பிடம்.
29 From thence she spieth for meate, and her eyes beholde afarre off.
அங்கிருந்து அது தனது உணவைப் பார்க்கும்; அதின் கண்கள் தொலைவிலிருக்கும் உணவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளும்.
30 His young ones also sucke vp blood: and where the slaine are, there is she.
அதின் குஞ்சுள் இரத்தத்தை உண்டு மகிழும்; இறந்த உடல்கள் எங்கேயோ அங்கேயே கழுகும் இருக்கும்.”
