Job 38
1 Then answered the Lord vnto Iob out of the whirle winde, and said,
Ary teo anatin’ ny tafio-drivotra Jehovah dia namaly an’ i Joba ka nanao hoe:
2 Who is this that darkeneth the counsell by wordes without knowledge?
Iza moa izato manao izay hahamaizina ny fisainana amin’ ny teny tsy misy fahalalana?
3 Girde vp nowe thy loynes like a man: I will demande of thee and declare thou vnto me.
Misikìna ary tahaka ny lehilahy; Fa hanadina anao Aho, ka valio:
4 Where wast thou when I layd the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast vnderstanding,
Taiza ary ianao, fony Aho nanorina ny tany? Ambarao, raha hainao.
5 Who hath layde the measures thereof, if thou knowest, or who hath stretched the line ouer it:
Iza ary no nandidy izay ho refiny, raha fantatrao? Ary iza no nanenjana ny famolaina teo aminy?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof set: or who layed the corner stone thereof:
Teo amin’ inona no nanorenana ny vodi-andriny, ary iza no nametraka ny vato fehizorony,
7 When the starres of the morning praysed me together, and all the children of God reioyced:
Raha niara-nihira ny kintan’ ny maraina, ary nihoby avokoa ireo zanak’ Andriamanitra?
8 Or who hath shut vp the Sea with doores, when it yssued and came foorth as out of the wombe:
Ary iza no nanao varavarana misakana ny ranomasina, raha nibosesika nivoaka avy tany am-bohoka izy,
9 When I made the cloudes as a couering thereof, and darkenesse as the swadeling bands thereof:
Raha nanao ny rahona ho fitafiany Aho ary ny aizim-pito ho fonony,
10 When I stablished my commandement vpon it, and set barres and doores,
Ary nandidy ny ho fetrany sady nanisy hidy sy varavarana
11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no farther, and here shall it stay thy proude waues.
Ka nanao hoe: Hatreto no azonao androsoana ka tsy hihoatra, ary eto no hampijanonana ny fisafoaky ny onjanao?
12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy dayes? hast thou caused the morning to knowe his place,
Hatrizay niainanao moa mba efa nandidy ny maraina va ianao? Efa notoroanao ny fitoerany va ny fipoak’ andro,
13 That it might take hold of the corners of the earth, and that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
Mba horaisiny ny sisin’ ny tany. Ka hakopakopany hiala ny ratsy fanahy?
14 It is turned as clay to facion, and all stand vp as a garment.
Ary hiova tahaka ny tanimanga tombohin-kase ny endriny, ka hiseho tahaka ny lamba misoratra ny tarehiny,
15 And from the wicked their light shall be taken away, and the hie arme shalbe broken.
Ary hosakanana ny fahazavan’ ny ratsy fanahy, ka ho tapaka ny sandry naingaina.
16 Hast thou entred into the bottomes of the sea? or hast thou walked to seeke out the depth?
Moa efa niditra hatrany amin’ ny loharanon-dranomasina va ianao, ary efa nandehandeha tany amin’ ny fanambanin’ ny lalina?
17 Haue the gates of death bene opened vnto thee? or hast thou seene the gates of the shadowe of death?
Moa efa naharihary taminao va ny vavahadin’ ny fahafatesana? Ary efa hitanao va ny vavahadin’ ny aloky ny fahafatesana?
18 Hast thou perceiued the breadth of the earth? tell if thou knowest all this.
Moa efa voadinikao ny hatrany amin’ ny fahalalahan’ ny tany? Ambarao ary, raha fantatrao izany rehetra izany.
19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and where is the place of darkenesse,
Aiza ary no lalana ho any amin’ ny fonenan’ ny mazava? Ary aiza no fitoeran’ ny maizina?
20 That thou shouldest receiue it in the boundes thereof, and that thou shouldest knowe the paths to the house thereof?
Mba hitondranao izany ho amin’ ny faran’ ny alehany, ary ho fantatrao ny lalana ho any an-tranony.
21 Knewest thou it, because thou wast then borne, and because the nomber of thy dayes is great?
Eny, fantatrao mantsy izany, satria efa teraka ianao tamin’ izay, ary maro ny isan’ ny andronao!
22 Hast thou entred into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seene the treasures of ye haile,
Moa efa niditra tany amin’ ny firaketana ny oram-panala va ianao? Ary efa hitanao va ny firaketana ny havandra,
23 Which I haue hid against the time of trouble, against the day of warre and battell?
Izay voatahiriko ho amin’ ny andro fahoriana, dia ny andro misy ady sy tafika?
24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the East winde vpon the earth?
Aiza moa no lalana izarazarana ny mazava sy ielezan’ ny rivotra avy any atsinanana ho etỳ ambonin’ ny tany?
25 Who hath deuided the spowtes for the raine? or the way for the lightning of ye thunders,
Iza moa no nihady lalan-drano ho an’ ny ranonorana mirotsaka be, sy lalan-kaleha ho an’ ny helatry ny kotrokorana,
26 To cause it to raine on the earth where no man is, and in the wildernes where there is no man?
Handatsaka ranonorana ambonin’ ny tany izay tsy itoeran’ olona, dia any amin’ ny efitra tsy misy mponina,
27 To fulfil the wilde and waste place, and to cause the bud of the herbe to spring forth?
Mba hahavonto ny efitra sy ny tany foana, ary hampitsimoka ny ahitra vao mitsiry?
28 Who is the father of the rayne? or who hath begotten the droppes of the dewe?
Manan-dray va ny ranonorana? Ary iza kosa no miteraka ny ranon’ ando?
29 Out of whose wombe came the yee? who hath ingendred the frost of the heauen?
Kibon’ iza moa no nihavian’ ny ranomandry? Ary ny vongam-panala avy amin’ ny lanitra, iza no niteraka azy?
30 The waters are hid as with a stone: and the face of the depth is frosen.
Tonga mafy toy ny vato ny rano, Ary mitambatra ny fanambonin’ ny lalina.
31 Canst thou restraine the sweete influences of the Pleiades? or loose the bandes of Orion?
Mahavona ny kofehin’ ny Ikotokelimiadilaona va ianao, ary mahavaha ny Telonohorefy?
32 Canst thou bring foorth Mazzaroth in their time? canst thou also guide Arcturus with his sonnes?
Mahavoaka ny Mazarota amin’ ny fotoany va ianao? Ary mahatondra ny Bera mbamin’ ny zanany va ianao?
33 Knowest thou the course of heauen, or canst thou set the rule thereof in the earth?
Fantatrao va ny lalàn’ ny lanitra? Ary manendry ny fanapahan’ ireny ny tany va ianao?
34 Canst thou lift vp thy voice to the cloudes that the aboundance of water may couer thee?
Mahasandratra ny feonao ho amin’ ny rahona matevina va ianao, Mba hanafotra anao ny rano mandriaka?
35 Canst thou sende the lightenings that they may walke, and say vnto thee, Loe, heere we are?
Mahay mandefa ny helatra va ianao, ka ho avy ireo hilaza aminao hoe: Indreto izahay?
36 Who hath put wisedome in the reines? or who hath giuen the heart vnderstanding?
Iza moa no nanao ny rahona matevina ho fitoeram-pahendrena, Ary irery miseho erỳ an-danitra ho fampisehoana ny fahalalana?
37 Who can nomber cloudes by wisedome? or who can cause to cease the bottels of heaue,
Iza moa no manam-pahendrena mahisa ny rahom-potsy manify? Ary iza no mahatankina ny fitoeran-dranon’ ny lanitra,
38 When the earth groweth into hardnesse, and the clottes are fast together?
Hitambaran’ ny vovoka ho dilatra sy hivonganany ho bainga?
39 Wilt thou hunt the pray for the lyon? or fill the appetite of the lyons whelpes,
Mahay mihaza toha ho an’ ny liom-bavy va ianao, sy mahafaka ny fahalianan’ ny liona tanora,
40 When they couch in their places, and remaine in the couert to lye in waite?
Raha mamitsaka ao amin’ ny fitoerany izy ary manotrika ao amin’ ny kirihitrala?
41 Who prepareth for the rauen his meate, when his birdes crie vnto God, wandering for lacke of meate?
Iza moa no manome hanina ny goaika, raha mitaraina amin’ Andriamanitra ny zanany ka mirenireny tsy mahita hanina?
