Job 35

1 Elihu spake moreouer, and said,

ಎಲೀಹು ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:

2 Thinkest thou this right, that thou hast said, I am more righteous then God?

“ಯೋಬನೇ, ‘ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ದೇವರ ನೀತಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡದು,’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಸರಿಯೆಂದು ನೆನಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ?

3 For thou hast said, What profiteth it thee and what auaileth it me, to purge me from my sinne?

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ‘ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನನಗೇನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಯಿತು? ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಲಾಭವೇನು? ಎಂದು ನೀನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಿ.’

4 Therefore will I answere thee, and thy companions with thee.

“ನಾನು ನಿನಗೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೂ ಈಗ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

5 Looke vnto the heauen, and see and behold the cloudes which are hyer then thou.

ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡು; ನಿನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿರುವ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸು.

6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him, yea, when thy sinnes be many, what doest thou vnto him?

ನೀನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅದು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವುದು?

7 If thou be righteous, what giuest thou vnto him? or what receiueth he at thine hand?

ನೀನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ದೇವರಿಗೇನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಾಯಿತು? ಅಥವಾ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಏನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಂತಾಯಿತು?

8 Thy wickednesse may hurt a man as thou art: and thy righteousnes may profite ye sonne of man.

ನಿನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ನಿನ್ನಂಥವರನ್ನೇ ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಲಾಭವಾಗುವುದು.

9 They cause many that are oppressed, to crye, which crye out for ye violence of the mightie.

“ಅಪಾರ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟವರು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರ ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತರು ಕಿರಿಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

10 But none saieth, Where is God that made me, which giueth songs in the nyght?

ಆದರೆ, ‘ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ನನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತರಾದ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?

11 Which teacheth vs more then the beastes of the earth, and giueth vs more wisdome then the foules of the heauen.

ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನಮಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬುದ್ಧಿಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನಮಗೆ ಅಧಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎಂದು ಯಾರೂ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

12 Then they crye because of the violence of the wicked, but he answereth not.

ಜನರು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ನೊಂದು ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

13 Surely God will not heare vanitie, neyther will the Almightie regard it.

ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾತನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರು ಬರೀಮಾತನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

14 Although thou sayest to God, Thou wilt not regard it, yet iudgement is before him: trust thou in him.

ಹೀಗಿರಲು, ‘ದೇವರು ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ; ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವರೋ?

15 But nowe because his anger hath not visited, nor called to count the euill with great extremitie,

ದೇವರು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ‘ಆಹಾ, ದೇವರು ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಅಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಗಮನಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ದೇವರು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ?

16 Therfore Iob openeth his mouth in vaine, and multiplieth wordes without knowledge.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೋಬನಾದ ನೀನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಹಳ ಮಾತಾಡಿರುವಿ.”
