Job 35
1 Elihu spake moreouer, and said,
१फिर एलीहू इस प्रकार और भी कहता गया,
2 Thinkest thou this right, that thou hast said, I am more righteous then God?
२“क्या तू इसे अपना हक़ समझता है? क्या तू दावा करता है कि तेरी धार्मिकता परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता से अधिक है?
3 For thou hast said, What profiteth it thee and what auaileth it me, to purge me from my sinne?
३जो तू कहता है, ‘मुझे इससे क्या लाभ? और मुझे पापी होने में और न होने में कौन सा अधिक अन्तर है?’
4 Therefore will I answere thee, and thy companions with thee.
४मैं तुझे और तेरे साथियों को भी एक संग उत्तर देता हूँ।
5 Looke vnto the heauen, and see and behold the cloudes which are hyer then thou.
५आकाश की ओर दृष्टि करके देख; और आकाशमण्डल को ताक, जो तुझ से ऊँचा है।
6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him, yea, when thy sinnes be many, what doest thou vnto him?
६यदि तूने पाप किया है तो परमेश्वर का क्या बिगड़ता है? यदि तेरे अपराध बहुत ही बढ़ जाएँ तो भी तू उसका क्या कर लेगा?
7 If thou be righteous, what giuest thou vnto him? or what receiueth he at thine hand?
७यदि तू धर्मी है तो उसको क्या दे देता है; या उसे तेरे हाथ से क्या मिल जाता है?
8 Thy wickednesse may hurt a man as thou art: and thy righteousnes may profite ye sonne of man.
८तेरी दुष्टता का फल तुझ जैसे पुरुष के लिये है, और तेरी धार्मिकता का फल भी मनुष्यमात्र के लिये है।
9 They cause many that are oppressed, to crye, which crye out for ye violence of the mightie.
९“बहुत अंधेर होने के कारण वे चिल्लाते हैं; और बलवान के बाहुबल के कारण वे दुहाई देते हैं।
10 But none saieth, Where is God that made me, which giueth songs in the nyght?
१०तो भी कोई यह नहीं कहता, ‘मेरा सृजनेवाला परमेश्वर कहाँ है, जो रात में भी गीत गवाता है,
11 Which teacheth vs more then the beastes of the earth, and giueth vs more wisdome then the foules of the heauen.
११और हमें पृथ्वी के पशुओं से अधिक शिक्षा देता, और आकाश के पक्षियों से अधिक बुद्धि देता है?’
12 Then they crye because of the violence of the wicked, but he answereth not.
१२वे दुहाई देते हैं परन्तु कोई उत्तर नहीं देता, यह बुरे लोगों के घमण्ड के कारण होता है।
13 Surely God will not heare vanitie, neyther will the Almightie regard it.
१३निश्चय परमेश्वर व्यर्थ बातें कभी नहीं सुनता, और न सर्वशक्तिमान उन पर चित्त लगाता है।
14 Although thou sayest to God, Thou wilt not regard it, yet iudgement is before him: trust thou in him.
१४तो तू क्यों कहता है, कि वह मुझे दर्शन नहीं देता, कि यह मुकद्दमा उसके सामने है, और तू उसकी बाट जोहता हुआ ठहरा है?
15 But nowe because his anger hath not visited, nor called to count the euill with great extremitie,
१५परन्तु अभी तो उसने क्रोध करके दण्ड नहीं दिया है, और अभिमान पर चित्त बहुत नहीं लगाया;
16 Therfore Iob openeth his mouth in vaine, and multiplieth wordes without knowledge.
१६इस कारण अय्यूब व्यर्थ मुँह खोलकर अज्ञानता की बातें बहुत बनाता है।”
