< Job 35 >

1 Elihu spake moreouer, and said,
and to answer Elihu and to say
2 Thinkest thou this right, that thou hast said, I am more righteous then God?
this to devise: think to/for justice to say righteousness my from God
3 For thou hast said, What profiteth it thee and what auaileth it me, to purge me from my sinne?
for to say what? be useful to/for you what? to gain from sin my
4 Therefore will I answere thee, and thy companions with thee.
I to return: return you speech and [obj] neighbor your with you
5 Looke vnto the heauen, and see and behold the cloudes which are hyer then thou.
to look heaven and to see: see and to see cloud to exult from you
6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him, yea, when thy sinnes be many, what doest thou vnto him?
if to sin what? to work in/on/with him and to multiply transgression your what? to make: do to/for him
7 If thou be righteous, what giuest thou vnto him? or what receiueth he at thine hand?
if to justify what? to give: give to/for him or what? from hand your to take: recieve
8 Thy wickednesse may hurt a man as thou art: and thy righteousnes may profite ye sonne of man.
to/for man like you wickedness your and to/for son: child man righteousness your
9 They cause many that are oppressed, to crye, which crye out for ye violence of the mightie.
from abundance oppression to cry out to cry from arm many
10 But none saieth, Where is God that made me, which giueth songs in the nyght?
and not to say where? god to make me to give: give song in/on/with night
11 Which teacheth vs more then the beastes of the earth, and giueth vs more wisdome then the foules of the heauen.
to teach/learn us from animal land: soil and from bird [the] heaven be wise us
12 Then they crye because of the violence of the wicked, but he answereth not.
there to cry and not to answer from face: because pride bad: evil
13 Surely God will not heare vanitie, neyther will the Almightie regard it.
surely vanity: vain not to hear: hear God and Almighty not to see her
14 Although thou sayest to God, Thou wilt not regard it, yet iudgement is before him: trust thou in him.
also for to say not to see him judgment to/for face: before his and to twist: anticipate to/for him
15 But nowe because his anger hath not visited, nor called to count the euill with great extremitie,
and now for nothing to reckon: punish face: anger his and not to know in/on/with folly much
16 Therfore Iob openeth his mouth in vaine, and multiplieth wordes without knowledge.
and Job vanity to open lip his in/on/with without knowledge speech to multiply
