Job 34
1 Moreouer Elihu answered, and saide,
१फिर एलीहू यह कहता गया;
2 Heare my wordes, ye wise men, and hearken vnto me, ye that haue knowledge.
२“हे बुद्धिमानों! मेरी बातें सुनो, हे ज्ञानियों! मेरी बात पर कान लगाओ,
3 For the eare tryeth the words, as the mouth tasteth meate.
३क्योंकि जैसे जीभ से चखा जाता है, वैसे ही वचन कान से परखे जाते हैं।
4 Let vs seeke iudgement among vs, and let vs knowe among our selues what is good.
४जो कुछ ठीक है, हम अपने लिये चुन लें; जो भला है, हम आपस में समझ-बूझ लें।
5 For Iob hath saide, I am righteous, and God hath taken away my iudgement.
५क्योंकि अय्यूब ने कहा है, ‘मैं निर्दोष हूँ, और परमेश्वर ने मेरा हक़ मार दिया है।
6 Should I lye in my right? my wound of the arrowe is grieuous without my sinne.
६यद्यपि मैं सच्चाई पर हूँ, तो भी झूठा ठहरता हूँ, मैं निरपराध हूँ, परन्तु मेरा घाव असाध्य है।’
7 What man is like Iob, that drinketh scornfulnesse like water?
७अय्यूब के तुल्य कौन शूरवीर है, जो परमेश्वर की निन्दा पानी के समान पीता है,
8 Which goeth in the companie of them that worke iniquitie, and walketh with wicked men?
८जो अनर्थ करनेवालों का साथ देता, और दुष्ट मनुष्यों की संगति रखता है?
9 For he hath saide, It profiteth a man nothing that he should walke with God.
९उसने तो कहा है, ‘मनुष्य को इससे कुछ लाभ नहीं कि वह आनन्द से परमेश्वर की संगति रखे।’
10 Therefore hearken vnto me, ye men of wisedome, God forbid that wickednesse should be in God, and iniquitie in the Almightie.
१०“इसलिए हे समझवालों! मेरी सुनो, यह सम्भव नहीं कि परमेश्वर दुष्टता का काम करे, और सर्वशक्तिमान बुराई करे।
11 For he will render vnto man according to his worke, and cause euery one to finde according to his way.
११वह मनुष्य की करनी का फल देता है, और प्रत्येक को अपनी-अपनी चाल का फल भुगताता है।
12 And certainely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almightie peruert iudgement.
१२निःसन्देह परमेश्वर दुष्टता नहीं करता और न सर्वशक्तिमान अन्याय करता है।
13 Whome hath he appointed ouer the earth beside him selfe? or who hath placed the whole worlde?
१३किसने पृथ्वी को उसके हाथ में सौंप दिया? या किसने सारे जगत का प्रबन्ध किया?
14 If he set his heart vpon man, and gather vnto him selfe his spirit and his breath,
१४यदि वह मनुष्य से अपना मन हटाए और अपना आत्मा और श्वास अपने ही में समेट ले,
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall returne vnto dust.
१५तो सब देहधारी एक संग नाश हो जाएँगे, और मनुष्य फिर मिट्टी में मिल जाएगा।
16 And if thou hast vnderstanding, heare this and hearken to the voyce of my wordes.
१६“इसलिए इसको सुनकर समझ रख, और मेरी इन बातों पर कान लगा।
17 Shal he that hateth iudgement, gouerne? and wilt thou iudge him wicked that is most iust?
१७जो न्याय का बैरी हो, क्या वह शासन करे? जो पूर्ण धर्मी है, क्या तू उसे दुष्ट ठहराएगा?
18 Wilt thou say vnto a King, Thou art wicked? or to princes, Ye are vngodly?
१८वह राजा से कहता है, ‘तू नीच है’; और प्रधानों से, ‘तुम दुष्ट हो।’
19 How much lesse to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, and regardeth not the rich, more then the poore? for they be all the worke of his handes.
१९परमेश्वर तो हाकिमों का पक्ष नहीं करता और धनी और कंगाल दोनों को अपने बनाए हुए जानकर उनमें कुछ भेद नहीं करता।
20 They shall die suddenly, and the people shalbe troubled at midnight, and they shall passe foorth and take away the mightie without hand.
२०आधी रात को पल भर में वे मर जाते हैं, और प्रजा के लोग हिलाए जाते और जाते रहते हैं। और प्रतापी लोग बिना हाथ लगाए उठा लिए जाते हैं।
21 For his eyes are vpon the wayes of man, and he seeth all his goings.
२१“क्योंकि परमेश्वर की आँखें मनुष्य की चाल चलन पर लगी रहती हैं, और वह उसकी सारी चाल को देखता रहता है।
22 There is no darkenesse nor shadowe of death, that the workers of iniquitie might be hid therein.
२२ऐसा अंधियारा या घोर अंधकार कहीं नहीं है जिसमें अनर्थ करनेवाले छिप सके।
23 For he will not lay on man so much, that he should enter into iudgement with God.
२३क्योंकि उसने मनुष्य का कुछ समय नहीं ठहराया ताकि वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख अदालत में जाए।
24 He shall breake the mightie without seeking, and shall set vp other in their stead.
२४वह बड़े-बड़े बलवानों को बिना पूछपाछ के चूर-चूर करता है, और उनके स्थान पर दूसरों को खड़ा कर देता है।
25 Therefore shall he declare their works: he shall turne the night, and they shalbe destroyed.
२५इसलिए कि वह उनके कामों को भली भाँति जानता है, वह उन्हें रात में ऐसा उलट देता है कि वे चूर-चूर हो जाते हैं।
26 He striketh them as wicked men in the places of the seers,
२६वह उन्हें दुष्ट जानकर सभी के देखते मारता है,
27 Because they haue turned backe from him, and would not consider all his wayes:
२७क्योंकि उन्होंने उसके पीछे चलना छोड़ दिया है, और उसके किसी मार्ग पर चित्त न लगाया,
28 So that they haue caused the voyce of the poore to come vnto him, and he hath heard the cry of the afflicted.
२८यहाँ तक कि उनके कारण कंगालों की दुहाई उस तक पहुँची और उसने दीन लोगों की दुहाई सुनी।
29 And when he giueth quietnesse, who can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who can beholde him, whether it be vpon nations, or vpon a man onely?
२९जब वह चुप रहता है तो उसे कौन दोषी ठहरा सकता है? और जब वह मुँह फेर ले, तब कौन उसका दर्शन पा सकता है? जाति भर के साथ और अकेले मनुष्य, दोनों के साथ उसका बराबर व्यवहार है
30 Because the hypocrite doeth reigne, and because the people are snared.
३०ताकि भक्तिहीन राज्य करता न रहे, और प्रजा फंदे में फँसाई न जाए।
31 Surely it appertaineth vnto God to say, I haue pardoned, I will not destroy.
३१“क्या किसी ने कभी परमेश्वर से कहा, ‘मैंने दण्ड सहा, अब मैं भविष्य में बुराई न करूँगा,
32 But if I see not, teach thou me: if I haue done wickedly, I will doe no more.
३२जो कुछ मुझे नहीं सूझ पड़ता, वह तू मुझे सिखा दे; और यदि मैंने टेढ़ा काम किया हो, तो भविष्य में वैसा न करूँगा?’
33 Wil he performe the thing through thee? for thou hast reproued it, because that thou hast chosen, and not I. now speake what thou knowest.
३३क्या वह तेरे ही मन के अनुसार बदला पाए क्योंकि तू उससे अप्रसन्न है? क्योंकि तुझे निर्णय करना है, न कि मुझे; इस कारण जो कुछ तुझे समझ पड़ता है, वह कह दे।
34 Let men of vnderstanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken vnto me.
३४सब ज्ञानी पुरुष वरन् जितने बुद्धिमान मेरी सुनते हैं वे मुझसे कहेंगे,
35 Iob hath not spoken of knowledge, neyther were his wordes according to wisedome.
३५‘अय्यूब ज्ञान की बातें नहीं कहता, और न उसके वचन समझ के साथ होते हैं।’
36 I desire that Iob may be tryed, vnto the ende touching the answeres for wicked men.
३६भला होता, कि अय्यूब अन्त तक परीक्षा में रहता, क्योंकि उसने अनर्थकारियों के समान उत्तर दिए हैं।
37 For he addeth rebellion vnto his sinne: he clappeth his handes among vs, and multiplieth his wordes against God.
३७और वह अपने पाप में विरोध बढ़ाता है; और हमारे बीच ताली बजाता है, और परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध बहुत सी बातें बनाता है।”
