Job 33
1 Wherefore, Iob, I pray thee, heare my talke and hearken vnto all my wordes.
“എന്നാൽ ഇയ്യോബേ, ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേൾക്കുക; എന്റെ എല്ലാ വാക്കുകളും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.
2 Beholde now, I haue opened my mouth: my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
ഇതാ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ വായ് തുറക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ നാവിൻതുമ്പിൽ വാക്കുകൾ തയ്യാറായിരിക്കുന്നു.
3 My words are in the vprightnesse of mine heart, and my lippes shall speake pure knowledge.
എന്റെ ഹൃദയപരമാർഥതയിൽനിന്ന് ഉള്ളവയാണ് എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ ആത്മാർഥതയോടെ പരിജ്ഞാനം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
4 The Spirite of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almightie hath giuen me life.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവ് എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; സർവശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം എനിക്കു ജീവൻ നൽകുന്നു.
5 If thou canst giue me answere, prepare thy selfe and stand before me.
നിനക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ, എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരം നൽകുക; എന്റെമുമ്പാകെ നിന്റെ വാദങ്ങൾ നിരത്തിവെക്കാൻ തയ്യാറായിക്കൊള്ളുക.
6 Beholde, I am according to thy wish in Gods stead: I am also formed of the clay.
നോക്കൂ, ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാനും നിന്നെപ്പോലെതന്നെ; ഞാനും ഒരു കളിമൺകഷണമല്ലേ.
7 Beholde, my terrour shall not feare thee, neither shall mine hand be heauie vpon thee.
എന്റെ ഭീഷണി നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല, എന്റെ കൈ നിനക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
8 Doubtles thou hast spoken in mine eares, and I haue heard the voyce of thy wordes.
“തീർച്ചയായും ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെയാണ് താങ്കൾ സംസാരിച്ചത്— ഞാൻ ആ വാക്കുകളെല്ലാം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു—
9 I am cleane, without sinne: I am innocent, and there is none iniquitie in me.
‘ഞാൻ നിർമലൻ, ഒരുതെറ്റും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; ഞാൻ നിഷ്കളങ്കൻ, എന്നിൽ ഒരു കുറ്റവുമില്ല.
10 Lo, he hath found occasions against me, and counted me for his enemie.
കണ്ടാലും! ദൈവം എന്നിൽ കുറ്റം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ അവിടത്തെ ശത്രുവായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നു.
11 He hath put my feete in the stockes, and looketh narrowly vnto all my paths.
അവിടന്ന് ചങ്ങലകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ കാലുകൾ ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വഴികളെല്ലാം അവിടന്ന് നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.’
12 Behold, in this hast thou not done right: I will answere thee, that God is greater then man.
“എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ താങ്കളോടു പറയുന്നു: ഇതിൽ താങ്കൾ നീതിമാനല്ല, കാരണം ഏതു മനുഷ്യനെക്കാളും ദൈവം ശ്രേഷ്ഠനല്ലോ.
13 Why doest thou striue against him? for he doeth not giue account of all his matters.
അവിടന്ന് ആരുടെയും വാക്കുകൾക്ക് പ്രതികരിക്കുന്നില്ല, എന്നു താങ്കളെന്തിന് ദൈവത്തോടു പരാതിപ്പെടണം?
14 For God speaketh once or twise, and one seeth it not.
ദൈവം ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരുവിധത്തിലും പിന്നീട് മറ്റൊരുവിധത്തിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യർ അതു തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നില്ലതാനും.
15 In dreames and visions of the night, when sleepe falleth vpon men, and they sleepe vpon their beds,
സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ, രാത്രി ദർശനത്തിൽ മനുഷ്യർ ഗാഢനിദ്രയിൽ ലയിച്ചിരിക്കെ, അവർ തന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുമ്പോൾത്തന്നെ,
16 Then he openeth the eares of men, euen by their corrections, which he had sealed,
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കാതുകളിൽ മന്ത്രിക്കുകയും ഭീതിജനകമായ മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകൾ നൽകുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
17 That he might cause man to turne away from his enterprise, and that he might hide the pride of man,
മനുഷ്യരെ അവരുടെ തെറ്റിൽനിന്നു പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ അഹന്തയിൽനിന്ന് അകറ്റിനിർത്തുന്നതിനും
18 And keepe backe his soule from the pit, and that his life should not passe by the sword.
അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനും അവരുടെ ജീവനെ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയിൽ നശിക്കുന്നതിൽനിന്നുംതന്നെ.
19 He is also striken with sorow vpon his bed, and the griefe of his bones is sore,
“തങ്ങളുടെ കിടക്കമേൽ വേദനയാലും തങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികളുടെ നിരന്തരമായ വ്യഥയാലും മനുഷ്യർ നന്മയ്ക്കായി ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
20 So that his life causeth him to abhorre bread, and his soule daintie meate.
അവരുടെ ശരീരം ആഹാരത്തെയും പ്രാണൻ രുചികരമായ ഭക്ഷണത്തെയും വെറുക്കുന്നു.
21 His flesh faileth that it can not be seene, and his bones which were not seene, clatter.
അവരുടെ മാംസം ക്ഷയിച്ച് ഇല്ലാതാകുന്നു, മറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അസ്ഥികൾ ഇപ്പോൾ പുറത്തേക്കു തള്ളിവരുന്നു.
22 So his soule draweth to the graue, and his life to the buriers.
അവർ ശവക്കുഴിയിലേക്കും അവരുടെ ജീവൻ മരണദൂതന്മാരോടും സമീപിക്കുന്നു.
23 If there be a messenger with him, or an interpreter, one of a thousand to declare vnto man his righteousnesse,
അവരുടെ സമീപത്ത് ഒരു ദൂതൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, പരസഹസ്രം ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ഒരാളെ മനുഷ്യർ പരമാർഥിയാകുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ എന്നറിയിക്കാൻ അയച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ,
24 Then will he haue mercie vpon him, and will say, Deliuer him, that he go not downe into the pit: for I haue receiued a reconciliation.
ആ ദൂതൻ മനുഷ്യരോടു കരുണ തോന്നിയിട്ട്, ‘ഇതാ ഞാൻ ഒരു മറുവില കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; കുഴിയിലിറങ്ങാതെ അവനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കണമേ.
25 Then shall his flesh be as fresh as a childes, and shall returne as in the dayes of his youth.
അവർ യൗവനത്തിലെപ്പോലെ വീണ്ടും ആയിത്തീരട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ശരീരം ഒരു ശിശുവിന്റെ ശരീരംപോലെ നവ്യമായിത്തീരട്ടെ,’ എന്ന് അവൻ പറയട്ടെ.
26 He shall pray vnto God, and he will be fauourable vnto him, and he shall see his face with ioy: for he will render vnto man his righteousnes.
അപ്പോൾ അവർ ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാർഥിക്കുകയും അവിടന്ന് അവരെ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുഖം കാണുകയും ആനന്ദത്താൽ ആർപ്പിടുകയും ചെയ്യും; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ ആരോഗ്യപൂർണരായി പുനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കും.
27 He looketh vpon men, and if one say, I haue sinned, and peruerted righteousnesse, and it did not profite me,
അപ്പോൾ അവർ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെമുമ്പിൽ പാട്ടുപാടിക്കൊണ്ട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയും: ‘ഞാൻ പാപംചെയ്തു നീതിയെ തകിടംമറിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ എനിക്ക് അർഹമായ ശിക്ഷ ലഭിച്ചില്ല.
28 He will deliuer his soule from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
ദൈവം എന്നെ ശവക്കുഴിയിലേക്കു പോകുന്നതിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചു; ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്നതിനു ഞാൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും.’
29 Lo, all these things will God worke twise or thrise with a man,
“മനുഷ്യരെ ശവക്കുഴിയിൽനിന്ന് മടക്കിവരുത്താനും അവരിൽ ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശം ശോഭിക്കുന്നതിനുംവേണ്ടി ദൈവം രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പ്രാവശ്യം ഇതെല്ലാം അവരോടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
30 That he may turne backe his soule from the pit, to be illuminate in the light of the liuing.
31 Marke well, O Iob, and heare me: keepe silence, and I will speake.
“ഇയ്യോബേ, ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക, ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു കേൾക്കുക, മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുക, ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കട്ടെ.
32 If there be matter, answere me, and speak: for I desire to iustifie thee.
താങ്കൾക്കെന്തെങ്കിലും സംസാരിക്കാനുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്നോടു പറയുക. താങ്കളെ നീതീകരിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, സംസാരിക്കുക.
33 If thou hast not, heare me: holde thy tongue, and I will teach thee wisedome.
അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം, ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു കേൾക്കുക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുക; ഞാൻ താങ്കൾക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.”
