Job 30
1 Bvt now they that are yonger then I, mocke me: yea, they whose fathers I haue refused to set with the dogges of my flockes.
१“परन्तु अब जिनकी आयु मुझसे कम है, वे मेरी हँसी करते हैं, वे जिनके पिताओं को मैं अपनी भेड़-बकरियों के कुत्तों के काम के योग्य भी न जानता था।
2 For whereto shoulde the strength of their handes haue serued mee, seeing age perished in them?
२उनके भुजबल से मुझे क्या लाभ हो सकता था? उनका पौरुष तो जाता रहा।
3 For pouertie and famine they were solitary, fleeing into the wildernes, which is darke, desolate and waste.
३वे दरिद्रता और काल के मारे दुबले पड़े हुए हैं, वे अंधेरे और सुनसान स्थानों में सुखी धूल फाँकते हैं।
4 They cut vp nettels by the bushes, and the iuniper rootes was their meate.
४वे झाड़ी के आस-पास का लोनिया साग तोड़ लेते, और झाऊ की जड़ें खाते हैं।
5 They were chased forth from among men: they shouted at them, as at a theefe.
५वे मनुष्यों के बीच में से निकाले जाते हैं, उनके पीछे ऐसी पुकार होती है, जैसी चोर के पीछे।
6 Therfore they dwelt in the clefts of riuers, in the holes of the earth and rockes.
६डरावने नालों में, भूमि के बिलों में, और चट्टानों में, उन्हें रहना पड़ता है।
7 They roared among the bushes, and vnder the thistles they gathered themselues.
७वे झाड़ियों के बीच रेंकते, और बिच्छू पौधों के नीचे इकट्ठे पड़े रहते हैं।
8 They were the children of fooles and the children of villaines, which were more vile then the earth.
८वे मूर्खों और नीच लोगों के वंश हैं जो मार-मार के इस देश से निकाले गए थे।
9 And now am I their song, and I am their talke.
९“ऐसे ही लोग अब मुझ पर लगते गीत गाते, और मुझ पर ताना मारते हैं।
10 They abhorre me, and flee farre from mee, and spare not to spit in my face.
१०वे मुझसे घिन खाकर दूर रहते, व मेरे मुँह पर थूकने से भी नहीं डरते।
11 Because that God hath loosed my corde and humbled mee, they haue loosed the bridle before me.
११परमेश्वर ने जो मेरी रस्सी खोलकर मुझे दुःख दिया है, इसलिए वे मेरे सामने मुँह में लगाम नहीं रखते।
12 The youth rise vp at my right hand: they haue pusht my feete, and haue trode on me as on the paths of their destruction.
१२मेरी दाहिनी ओर बाज़ारू लोग उठ खड़े होते हैं, वे मेरे पाँव सरका देते हैं, और मेरे नाश के लिये अपने उपाय बाँधते हैं।
13 They haue destroyed my paths: they tooke pleasure at my calamitie, they had none helpe.
१३जिनके कोई सहायक नहीं, वे भी मेरे रास्तों को बिगाड़ते, और मेरी विपत्ति को बढ़ाते हैं।
14 They came as a great breach of waters, and vnder this calamitie they come on heapes.
१४मानो बड़े नाके से घुसकर वे आ पड़ते हैं, और उजाड़ के बीच में होकर मुझ पर धावा करते हैं।
15 Feare is turned vpon mee: and they pursue my soule as the winde, and mine health passeth away as a cloude.
१५मुझ में घबराहट छा गई है, और मेरा रईसपन मानो वायु से उड़ाया गया है, और मेरा कुशल बादल के समान जाता रहा।
16 Therefore my soule is nowe powred out vpon me, and the dayes of affliction haue taken holde on me.
१६“और अब मैं शोकसागर में डूबा जाता हूँ; दुःख के दिनों ने मुझे जकड़ लिया है।
17 It pearceth my bones in the night, and my sinewes take no rest.
१७रात को मेरी हड्डियाँ मेरे अन्दर छिद जाती हैं और मेरी नसों में चैन नहीं पड़ती
18 For the great vehemencie is my garment changed, which compasseth me about as the colar of my coate.
१८मेरी बीमारी की बहुतायत से मेरे वस्त्र का रूप बदल गया है; वह मेरे कुर्त्ते के गले के समान मुझसे लिपटी हुई है।
19 He hath cast me into the myre, and I am become like ashes and dust.
१९उसने मुझ को कीचड़ में फेंक दिया है, और मैं मिट्टी और राख के तुल्य हो गया हूँ।
20 Whe I cry vnto thee, thou doest not heare me, neither regardest me, when I stand vp.
२०मैं तेरी दुहाई देता हूँ, परन्तु तू नहीं सुनता; मैं खड़ा होता हूँ परन्तु तू मेरी ओर घूरने लगता है।
21 Thou turnest thy selfe cruelly against me, and art enemie vnto mee with the strength of thine hand.
२१तू बदलकर मुझ पर कठोर हो गया है; और अपने बलवन्त हाथ से मुझे सताता हे।
22 Thou takest me vp and causest mee to ride vpon the winde, and makest my strength to faile.
२२तू मुझे वायु पर सवार करके उड़ाता है, और आँधी के पानी में मुझे गला देता है।
23 Surely I knowe that thou wilt bring mee to death, and to the house appoynted for all the liuing.
२३हाँ, मुझे निश्चय है, कि तू मुझे मृत्यु के वश में कर देगा, और उस घर में पहुँचाएगा, जो सब जीवित प्राणियों के लिये ठहराया गया है।
24 Doubtles none can stretch his hand vnto the graue, though they cry in his destruction.
२४“तो भी क्या कोई गिरते समय हाथ न बढ़ाएगा? और क्या कोई विपत्ति के समय दुहाई न देगा?
25 Did not I weepe with him that was in trouble? was not my soule in heauinesse for the poore?
२५क्या मैं उसके लिये रोता नहीं था, जिसके दुर्दिन आते थे? और क्या दरिद्र जन के कारण मैं प्राण में दुःखित न होता था?
26 Yet when I looked for good, euill came vnto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkenesse.
२६जब मैं कुशल का मार्ग जोहता था, तब विपत्ति आ पड़ी; और जब मैं उजियाले की आशा लगाए था, तब अंधकार छा गया।
27 My bowels did boyle without rest: for the dayes of affliction are come vpon me.
२७मेरी अंतड़ियाँ निरन्तर उबलती रहती हैं और आराम नहीं पातीं; मेरे दुःख के दिन आ गए हैं।
28 I went mourning without sunne: I stood vp in the congregation and cryed.
२८मैं शोक का पहरावा पहने हुए मानो बिना सूर्य की गर्मी के काला हो गया हूँ। और मैं सभा में खड़ा होकर सहायता के लिये दुहाई देता हूँ।
29 I am a brother to the dragons, and a companion to the ostriches.
२९मैं गीदड़ों का भाई और शुतुर्मुर्गों का संगी हो गया हूँ।
30 My skinne is blacke vpon me, and my bones are burnt with heate.
३०मेरा चमड़ा काला होकर मुझ पर से गिरता जाता है, और ताप के मारे मेरी हड्डियाँ जल गई हैं।
31 Therefore mine harpe is turned to mourning, and mine organs into the voyce of them that weepe.
३१इस कारण मेरी वीणा से विलाप और मेरी बाँसुरी से रोने की ध्वनि निकलती है।
