Job 26
1 Bvt Iob answered, and sayde,
Y respondió Job, y dijo:
2 Whom helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?
¿En qué ayudaste al que no tiene fuerza? ¿salvaste con brazo al que no tiene fortaleza?
3 Whome counsellest thou? him that hath no wisedome? thou shewest right well as the thing is.
¿En qué aconsejaste al que no tiene ciencia? ¿y mostraste asaz [tu] sabiduría?
4 To whom doest thou declare these words? or whose spirit commeth out of thee?
¿A quién has anunciado palabras? ¿y cúyo es el espíritu que sale de ti?
5 The dead things are formed vnder the waters, and neere vnto them.
Cosas inanimadas son formadas debajo de las aguas, y de sus moradas.
El sepulcro es descubierto delante de él, y el infierno no tiene cobertura. (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
Extiende al aquilón sobre vacío: cuelga la tierra sobre nada.
8 He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.
Las aguas ata en sus nubes, y las nubes no se rompen debajo de ellas.
9 He holdeth backe the face of his throne: and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.
El aprieta la faz de su trono, y extiende sobre él su nube.
10 He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.
El cercó con término la superficie de las aguas hasta que se acabe la luz y las tinieblas.
11 The pillars of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe.
Las columnas del cielo tiemblan, y se espantan de su reprensión.
12 The sea is calme by his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth the pride thereof.
El rompe la mar con su potencia, y con su entendimiento hiere [su] hinchazón.
13 His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Su Espíritu adornó los cielos: su mano crió la serpiente rolliza.
14 Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?
He aquí, estas son partes de sus caminos: ¿y cuán poco es lo que habemos oído de él? porque el estruendo de sus fortalezas ¿quién lo entenderá?
