Job 26
1 Bvt Iob answered, and sayde,
A Ijob odpowiadając rzekł:
2 Whom helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?
Jakożeś ratował tego, który nie ma mocy? a jakoś wybawił ramię, które nie ma siły?
3 Whome counsellest thou? him that hath no wisedome? thou shewest right well as the thing is.
Jakążeś dał radę temu, co nie ma mądrości? Azaś go samej rzeczy gruntownie nie wyuczył?
4 To whom doest thou declare these words? or whose spirit commeth out of thee?
Komużeś powiedział te słowa? Czyjże duch wyszedł od ciebie?
5 The dead things are formed vnder the waters, and neere vnto them.
I martwe rzeczy rodzą się pod wodami, i obywatele ich.
Odkryte są przepaści przed nim, a nie ma przykrycia zatracenie. (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
Rozciągnął północy nad miejscem próżnem, a ziemię zawiesił na niczem.
8 He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.
Zawiązuje wody na obłokach swoich, a nie rwie się obłok pod nimi.
9 He holdeth backe the face of his throne: and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.
Zatrzymuje stolicę swoję, rozpostarłszy nad nią obłok swój.
10 He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.
Położył granice wodom, aż weźmie koniec światłość i ciemność.
11 The pillars of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe.
Słupy niebieskie trzęsą się, i chwieją się na gromienie jego.
12 The sea is calme by his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth the pride thereof.
Mocą swą dzieli morze, a roztropnością swą uśmierza nawałności jego.
13 His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Duchem swym niebiosa przyozdobił, a ręka jego stworzyła węża skrętnego.
14 Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?
Oto teć są tylko części dróg jego, lecz i ta trocha niewybadana, cośmy słyszeli o nim, a grzmot wielkiej możności jego któż zrozumie?
