Job 26
1 Bvt Iob answered, and sayde,
욥이 대답하여 가로되
2 Whom helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?
네가 힘 없는 자를 참 잘 도왔구나 기력 없는 팔을 참 잘 구원하였구나
3 Whome counsellest thou? him that hath no wisedome? thou shewest right well as the thing is.
지혜 없는 자를 참 잘 가르쳤구나 큰 지식을 참 잘 나타내었구나
4 To whom doest thou declare these words? or whose spirit commeth out of thee?
네가 누구를 향하여 말을 내었느냐 뉘 신이 네게서 나왔느냐
5 The dead things are formed vnder the waters, and neere vnto them.
음령들이 큰 물과 수족 밑에서 떠나니
하나님 앞에는 음부도 드러나며 멸망의 웅덩이도 가리움이 없음 이니라 (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
그는 북편 하늘을 허공에 펴시며 땅을 공간에 다시며
8 He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.
물을 빽빽한 구름에 싸시나 그 밑의 구름이 찢어지지 아니하느니라
9 He holdeth backe the face of his throne: and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.
그는 자기의 보좌 앞을 가리우시고 자기 구름으로 그 위에 펴시며
10 He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.
수면에 경계를 그으셨으되 빛과 어두움의 지경까지 한정을 세우셨느니라
11 The pillars of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe.
그가 꾸짖으신즉 하늘 기둥이 떨며 놀라느니라
12 The sea is calme by his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth the pride thereof.
그는 권능으로 바다를 흉용케 하시며 지혜로 라합을 쳐서 파하시며
13 His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
그 신으로 하늘을 단장하시고 손으로 날랜 뱀을 찌르시나니
14 Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?
이런 것은 그 행사의 시작점이요 우리가 그에게 대하여 들은 것도 심히 세미한 소리뿐이니라 그 큰 능력의 우뢰야 누가 능히 측량하랴
