Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and sayd,

੧ਤਦ ਬਿਲਦਦ ਸ਼ੂਹੀ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

2 Power and feare is with him, that maketh peace in his hie places.

੨“ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਅ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

3 Is there any nomber in his armies? and vpon whom shall not his light arise?

੩ਕੀ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ?

4 And howe may a man be iustified with God? or how can he be cleane, that is borne of woman?

੪ਫੇਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?

5 Behold, he wil giue no light to the moone, and the starres are vncleane in his sight.

੫ਵੇਖ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਚਮਕ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਠਹਿਰਦੇ।

6 How much more man, a worme, euen the sonne of man, which is but a worme?

੬ਫੇਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੀੜਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਰਮ ਹੀ ਹੈ?”
