Job 11
1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and sayde,
सोपर नमातीले जवाफ दिए र यसो भने,
2 Should not the multitude of wordes be answered? or should a great talker be iustified?
“यति धेरै शब्दका जवाफ दिनुहुँदैन र? धेरै बोल्ने यी मानिसलाई विश्वास गर्नुपर्छ र?
3 Should men holde their peace at thy lyes? and when thou mockest others, shall none make thee ashamed?
तपाईंको अहङ्कारले अरूलाई मौन बनाउनुपर्छ र? तपाईंले खिसी गर्नुहुँदा, कसैले तपाईंलाई लाजमा पार्नेछैन र?
4 For thou hast sayde, My doctrine is pure, and I am cleane in thine eyes.
किनकि तपाईं परमेश्वरलाई भन्नुहुन्छ, 'मेरो विश्वास शुद्ध छ; तपाईंको दृष्टिमा म दोषरहित छु ।'
5 But, oh that God would speake and open his lippes against thee!
तर परमेश्वर बोल्नुभए हुन्थ्यो, र तपाईंको विरुद्धमा आफ्नो ओठ खोल्नुभए हुन्थ्यो ।
6 That he might shewe thee the secretes of wisedome, howe thou hast deserued double, according to right: know therefore that God hath forgotten thee for thine iniquitie.
उहाँले तपाईंलाई बुद्धिका रहस्यहरू देखाउनुहुन्थ्यो । किनकि समझशक्तिमा उहाँ महान् हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंको अधर्मले पाउनेभन्दा थोरै दण्ड परमेश्वरले तपाईं दिनुहुन्छ भनी जान्नुहोस् ।
7 Canst thou by searching finde out God? canst thou finde out ye Almighty to his perfection?
परमेश्वरलाई खोजेर तपाईंले उहाँलाई बुझ्न सक्नुहुन्छ? सर्वशक्तिमान्लाई तपाईं सिद्ध रूपमा बुझ्न सक्नुहुन्छ?
8 The heauens are hie, what canst thou doe? it is deeper then the hell, how canst thou know it? (Sheol h7585)
यो विषय स्वर्गजत्तिकै अग्लो छ । तपाईंले के गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ? यो पातालभन्दा गहिरो छ । तपाईंले के जान्न सक्नुहुन्छ? (Sheol h7585)
9 The measure thereof is longer then the earth, and it is broader then the sea.
यसको नाप पृथ्वीभन्दा लामो छ, र समुद्रभन्दा चौडा छ ।
10 If hee cut off and shut vp, or gather together, who can turne him backe?
उहाँ आउनुहुन्छ र कसैलाई थुन्नुहुन्छ, र कसैलाई इन्साफको लागि बोलाउनुहुन्छ भने, कसले उहाँलाई रोक्न सक्छ र?
11 For hee knoweth vaine men, and seeth iniquitie, and him that vnderstandeth nothing.
किनकि झुटा मानिसहरूलाई उहाँले चिन्नुहुन्छ । जब उहाँले अधर्म देख्नुहुन्छ, तब उहाँले त्यो ख्याल गर्नुहुन्न र?
12 Yet vaine man would be wise, though man new borne is like a wilde asse colte.
तर मूर्ख मानिसहरूको समझशक्ति हुँदैन । जङ्गली गधाले मानिसलाई जन्म दिंदा तिनीहरूले यो प्राप्त गर्छन् ।
13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him:
तर मानौँ, तपाईंले आफ्नो हृदय ठिक राखेको भए, र आफ्ना हात परमेश्वरतिर फैलाएको भए,
14 If iniquitie be in thine hand, put it farre away, and let no wickednesse dwell in thy Tabernacle.
मानौँ, अधर्म तपाईंको हातमा थियो, तर त्यसलाई तपाईंले आफूबाट टाढा पुर्याएको भए, अनि तपाईंका पालहरूभित्र अधार्मिकतालाई बस्न नदिएको भए ।
15 The truely shalt thou lift vp thy face without spot, and shalt be stable, and shalt not feare.
तब तपाईंले निश्चय पनि लाजको सङ्केतबिना नै आफ्नो अनुहार उठाउनुहुन्थ्यो । वास्तवमा तपाईं दृढ बन्नुहुन्थ्यो र डराउनुहुने थिएन ।
16 But thou shalt forget thy miserie, and remember it as waters that are past.
तपाईंले आफ्नो दुःख बिर्सनुहुन्थ्यो । तपाईंले त्यसलाई बगेर गएको पानीलाई झैं मात्र सम्झनुहुन्थ्यो ।
17 Thine age also shall appeare more cleare then the noone day: thou shalt shine and bee as the morning.
तपाईंको जीवन मध्यदिनको भन्दा चम्किलो हुन्थ्यो । त्यहाँ अँध्यारो भए पनि, त्यो बिहानजस्तै हुन्थ्यो ।
18 And thou shalt bee bolde, because there is hope: and thou shalt digge pittes, and shalt lye downe safely.
त्यहाँ आशा भएको हुनाले तपाईं सुरक्षित रहनुहुन्थ्यो । वास्तवमा तपाईंले आफ्नो सुरक्षा पाउनुहुन्थ्यो र तपाईंको विश्राम सुरक्षित हुन्थ्यो ।
19 For when thou takest thy rest, none shall make thee afraide: yea, many shall make sute vnto thee.
साथै, तपाईं विश्राममा पल्टनुहुन्थ्यो, र कसैले तपाईंलाई भयभीत पार्दैनथ्यो । वास्तवमा धेरैले तपाईंको निगाह खोज्थे ।
20 But the eyes of the wicked shall faile, and their refuge shall perish, and their hope shalbe sorow of minde.
तर दुष्ट मानिसहरूका आँखा चुक्नेछन् । भाग्नलाई तिनीहरूको कुनै बाटो हुनेछैन । तिनीहरूको एक मात्र आशा जीवनको आखिरी सुस्केरा हुनेछ ।”
