< Jeremiah 4 >

1 O Israel, if thou returne, returne vnto me, saith the Lord: and if thou put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remoue.
« Oh Isalaele, soki okozonga, zonga epai na Ngai, » elobi Yawe, « soki olongoli banzambe na yo ya bikeko liboso na Ngai mpe otiki kotambola libanda ya nzela na Ngai;
2 And thou shalt sweare, The Lord liueth in trueth, in iudgement, and in righteousnesse, and the nations shall be blessed in him, and shall glorie in him.
soki olapi ndayi na bosolo mpe na bosembo: ‹ Na Kombo na Yawe, › bikolo ekomipambola mpe ekomipesa nkembo mpo na yo. »
3 For thus saith the Lord to the men of Iudah, and to Ierusalem,
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi epai ya bato ya Yuda mpe ya Yelusalemi: « Bokata bilanga ya sika, mpe botika kolona kati na banzube.
4 Breake vp your fallowe ground, and sowe not among the thornes: be circumcised to the Lord, and take away the foreskinnes of your hearts, ye men of Iudah, and inhabitants of Ierusalem, lest my wrath come foorth like fire, and burne, that none can quenche it, because of the wickednesse of your inuentions.
Bomibulisa mpo na Yawe, bopetola mitema na bino, bino bato ya Yuda mpe bato ya Yelusalemi; noki te kanda na Ngai ekopela mpe ekozikisa bino lokola moto mpo na mabe oyo bozali kosala; ekopela makasi mpe moto moko te akokoka koboma yango.
5 Declare in Iudah, and shewe forth in Ierusalem, and say, Blowe the trumpet in the lande: cry, and gather together, and say, Assemble your selues, and let vs goe into strong cities.
Bopanza sango na mokili ya Yuda, botatola na Yelusalemi mpe boloba: ‹ Bobeta kelelo na mokili! › Boganga makasi mpe bobelela: ‹ Bosangana, bino nyonso! Tokima na bingumba batonga makasi! ›
6 Set vp the standart in Zion: prepare to flee, and stay not: for I will bring a plague from the North, and a great destruction.
Botombola bendele mpo na kokende na Siona! Bobombama noki, pamba te nakoyeisa pasi wuta na nor mpe kobebisama ya somo! »
7 The lyon is come vp from his denne, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is departed, and gone forth of his place to lay thy land waste, and thy cities shalbe destroyed without an inhabitant.
Nkosi moko ebimi na ndako na yango; mobebisi moko ya bikolo abimi. Atiki esika na ye mpo na koya kobebisa mokili na yo. Bingumba na yo ekobukana mpe ekotikala lisusu na bato te.
8 Wherefore girde you with sackecloth: lament, and howle, for the fierce wrath of the Lord is not turned backe from vs.
Yango wana, bolata bilamba ya basaki, bosala matanga mpe bolela, pamba te kanda makasi ya Yawe elongwe na mito na biso te.
9 And in that day, saith the Lord, the heart of the King shall perish, and the heart of the princes and the Priestes shall be astonished, and the Prophets shall wonder.
« Na mokolo wana, » elobi Yawe, « mokonzi mpe bakalaka na ye bakolemba nzoto, Banganga-Nzambe bakoyoka somo mpe basakoli bakokamwa. »
10 Then saide I, Ah, Lord God, surely thou hast deceiued this people and Ierusalem, saying, Ye shall haue peace, and the sworde perceth vnto the heart.
Bongo nalobaki: « Oh Nkolo Yawe, tala ndenge okosaki bato oyo mpe Yelusalemi tango olobaki: ‹ Bokozala na kimia! › Nzokande mopanga ezalaki kozela biso. »
11 At that time shall it bee saide to this people and to Ierusalem, A dry winde in the hie places of the wildernes commeth towarde ye daughter of my people, but neither to fanne nor to clense.
Na tango wana, bakoloba na bato oyo mpe na Yelusalemi: « Wuta likolo ya bangomba oyo ezali kati na esobe, mopepe moko ya makasi ezali koya epai ya bato na ngai; ezali koya te mpo na koyungola to mpo na kopetola.
12 A mightie winde shall come vnto me from those places, and nowe will I also giue sentence vpon them.
Ezali mopepe moko ya makasi penza, pamba te ewuti epai na ngai. Sik’oyo, ngai moko nde nazali kosambisa bango. »
13 Beholde, he shall come vp as the cloudes, and his charets shalbe as a tempest: his horses are lighter then eagles. Woe vnto vs, for wee are destroyed.
Tala! Monguna azali koya na elulu lokola mapata, bashar na ye ezali konguluma lokola mopepe ya makasi; mpunda na ye kutu eleki mpongo na mbangu. Mawa na biso! Tokufi na biso!
14 O Ierusalem, wash thine heart from wickednes, that thou maiest be saued: how long shall thy wicked thoughtes remaine within thee?
Oh Yelusalemi, petola motema na yo na mabe mpo ete obikisama. Kino tango nini okotika kosala mabongisi ya mabe?
15 For a voyce declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.
Mongongo moko ezali koyokana wuta na Dani, ezali kopanza sango ya pasi na bangomba ya Efrayimi.
16 Make ye mention of the heathen, and publish in Ierusalem, Beholde, the skoutes come from a farre countrey, and crie out against the cities of Iudah.
« Boloba yango na bikolo mpe botatola yango na Yelusalemi: ‹ Wuta na mboka mosika, mampinga ya banguna ezali koya, ezali koya na lokito mpo na kobundisa bingumba ya Yuda.
17 They haue compassed her about as the watchmen of the fielde, because it hath prouoked me to wrath, saith the Lord.
Ezingeli Yelusalemi lokola bakengeli bilanga, pamba te etombokelaki Ngai, › » elobi Yawe.
18 Thy wayes and thine inuentions haue procured thee these things, such is thy wickednesse: therefore it shall be bitter, therefore it shall perce vnto thine heart.
« Etamboli mpe misala na yo moko nde ememelaki yo yango. Tala, etumbu na yo ezali bololo mpe ekosala pasi makasi na motema. »
19 My bely, my bely, I am pained, euen at the very heart: mine heart is troubled within me: I cannot be still: for my soule hath heard the sounde of the trumpet, and the alarme of the battell.
Ah ngai eh! Ah motema pasi eh! Ah! Motema na ngai ezali kobeta makasi, ezali koswa makasi kati na ngai, mpe nazali kokoka kokanga monoko te, pamba te nayoki lolaka ya kelelo mpe ya bitumba.
20 Destruction vpon destruction is cryed, for the whole lande is wasted: suddenly are my tents destroyed, and my curtaines in a moment.
Sango moko kaka ezali kotambola: libebi na libebi; mokili mobimba ekufi. Na mbalakata, bandako ya kapo ekufi-kufi, mpe ebombamelo na ngai ebebi na mbala moko.
21 Howe long shall I see the standert, and heare the sounde of the trumpet?
Kino tango nini nakomona bendele ya bitumba, mpe nakoyoka makelele ya bitumba?
22 For my people is foolish, they haue not knowen me: they are foolish children, and haue none vnderstanding: they are wise to doe euill, but to doe well they haue no knowledge.
« Bato na Ngai bazali bazoba, bayebi Ngai te; bazali bana bazangi bososoli, bazali na mayele te, bayebi kaka kosala mabe, kasi bayebi kosala bolamu te. »
23 I haue looked vpon the earth, and loe, it was without forme and voide: and to the heauens, and they had no light.
Tango natalaki mabele, namonaki ete ezalaki kaka bongo-bongo mpe ezalaki ata na eloko moko te; tango natalaki likolo, namonaki ete pole ezalaki lisusu te.
24 I behelde the mountaines: and loe, they trembled and all the hilles shooke.
Tango natalaki bangomba, namonaki yango koningana, bangomba nyonso ya mike ezalaki kobukana.
25 I behelde, and loe, there was no man, and all the birdes of the heauen were departed.
Mpe tango natalaki malamu, namonaki lisusu ata moto moko te, mpe bandeke nyonso ya likolo ekimaki.
26 I behelde, and loe, the fruitfull place was a wildernesse, and all the cities thereof were broken downe at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce wrath.
Tango nakobaki kotala, namonaki ete mokili oyo ezalaki na mabele ya malamu ekomaki esobe; bingumba na yango nyonso ebebisamaki liboso ya Yawe, na kanda makasi na Ye.
27 For thus hath the Lord saide, The whole lande shall be desolate: yet will I not make a full ende.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Mokili mobimba ekobebisama, kasi nakobebisa yango nyonso te.
28 Therefore shall the earth mourne, and the heauens aboue shall be darkened, because I haue pronounced it: I haue thought it, and will not repent, neither will I turne backe from it.
Yango wana, mokili ekozala na matanga; mpe kuna na lola, likolo ekokoma mwindo pamba te nalobaki yango, mpe nakobongola maloba na Ngai te; lokola nazwaki mokano, nakozonga lisusu sima te. »
29 The whole citie shall flee, for the noyse of the horsemen and bowemen: they shall goe into thickets, and clime vp vpon the rockes: euery citie shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.
Bato nyonso ya engumba bakimi, kaka na makelele ya basoda oyo batambolaka likolo ya bampunda, mpe oyo babundaka na matolotolo. Bamoko babombami na bazamba, bamosusu bakimi na madusu ya mabanga ya bangomba; bingumba nyonso etikali lisusu na bato te, mpe ata moto moko te atikali kuna.
30 And when thou shalt be destroyed, what wilt thou doe? Though thou clothest thy selfe with skarlet, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of golde, though thou paintest thy face with colours, yet shalt thou trimme thy selfe in vaine: for thy louers will abhorre thee and seeke thy life.
Oh engumba ekufa, ozali kosala nini? Olati bilamba ya motane mpe babiju ya wolo; otie bonzenga na miso na yo. Ozali komikomisa kitoko na pamba, bamakangu na yo bazali kotiola yo mpe bazali koluka koboma yo.
31 For I haue heard a noyse as of a woman trauailing, or as one labouring of her first child, euen the voyce of the daughter Zion that sigheth and stretcheth out her handes: woe is me nowe: for my soule fainteth because of the murtherers.
Nayoki makelele lokola koganga ya mwasi oyo azali na pasi ya kobota, kolela ya pasi lokola mwasi oyo azali kobota mwana na ye ya liboso: ezali makelele ya kolela ya Siona, mboka kitoko; azali kolela, maboko likolo, mpe azali koloba: « Nabebi na ngai, nakomi na suka liboso ya babomi. »
