Jeremiah 32
1 The worde that came vnto Ieremiah from the Lord, in the tenth yere of Zedekiah king of Iudah, which was the eightenth yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar.
Ihe ndị a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị nke rutere Jeremaya nʼafọ nke iri nke ọchịchị Zedekaya eze Juda, nke bụkwa afọ nke iri na asatọ nke ọchịchị Nebukadneza.
2 For then the King of Babels hoste besieged Ierusalem: And Ieremiah the Prophet was shutte vp in the court of the prison, which was in the King of Iudahs house.
Nʼoge a, ndị agha Babilọn gbara Jerusalem gburugburu. E tinyekwara Jeremaya, bụ onye amụma nʼogige ụlọ ndị nche nke dị nʼụlọeze Juda.
3 For Zedekiah King of Iudah had shut him vp, saying, Wherefore doest thou prophesie, and say, Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will giue this citie into the handes of the King of Babel, and he shall take it?
Zedekaya eze Juda tụrụ ya mkpọrọ nʼebe ahụ, sị ya, “Gịnị mere i ji na-ebu amụma dị otu a. Nʼihi na ị na-asị, ‘Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, ejikerela m inyefe gị na obodo a nʼaka eze Babilọn. Ọ ga-alụtakwa ya nʼagha.
4 And Zedekiah the King of Iudah shall not escape out of the hande of the Caldeans, but shall surely be deliuered into the handes of the King of Babel, and shall speake with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall beholde his face,
Zedekaya eze Juda agaghị agbapụ site nʼaka ndị Babilọn, nʼihi na a ga-enyefe ya nʼaka eze Babilọn, onye ya na ya ga-ekwurịtakwa okwu ihu na ihu. Zedekaya ga-ejikwa anya ya abụọ hụ eze Babilọn,
5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babel, and there shall he be, vntil I visit him, saith ye Lord: though ye fight with the Caldeans, ye shall not prosper.
onye ga-eduru ya, bụ Zedekaya, gaa Babilọn, ebe ọ ga-anọ tutu ruo mgbe mụ, bụ Onyenwe anyị, mesiri ya ike. Ọ bụrụ na ibuso ndị Babilọn agha, ị gaghị emeri.’”
6 And Ieremiah said, The word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Jeremaya sịrị, “Okwu Onyenwe anyị rutere m ntị, sị,
7 Beholde, Hanameel, the sonne of Shallum thine vncle, shall come vnto thee and say, Bye vnto thee my fielde, that is in Anathoth: for the title by kindred appertaineth vnto thee to bye it.
Lee, Hanamel nwa Shalum, nwanne nna gị, ga-abịakwute gị, sị gị, ‘Zụrụ ala m dị nʼAnatot, nʼihi na ebe ị bụ onye ikwu m ọ bụ gị ka o ruuru ịzụ ya.’
8 So Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, came to mee in the court of the prison, according to the word of the Lord, and said vnto me, Bye my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the countrey of Beniamin: for the right of the possession is thine, and the purchase belongeth vnto thee: bye it for thee. Then I knewe that this was the worde of the Lord.
“Mgbe ahụ, dịka Onyenwe anyị si kwuo ya, Hanamel nwa nwanne nna m bịakwutere m nʼogige ndị nche sị m, ‘Zụrụ ala m dị nʼAnatot, nʼime ala ndị Benjamin. Ebe ọ bụ ihe ruuru gị ịgbapụta ya ime ka ọ bụrụ nke gị, ọ bụ gị kwesiri ịzụ ya.’ “Amaara m na nke a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the siluer, euen seuen shekels, and tenne pieces of siluer.
Ya mere, azụrụ m ala ahụ dị nʼAnatot site nʼaka nwanna m Hanamel. Atụpụtara m ọlaọcha shekel iri na asaa ọnụahịa ala ahụ, jiri ya kwụọ ya ụgwọ.
10 And I writ it in the booke and signed it, and tooke witnesses, and weighed him the siluer in the balances.
Emesịa, etinyere m aka m nʼakwụkwọ ire ala ahụ, kaa ya akara, nyachie ya, nʼihu ndị akaebe. Atụkwara m ọlaọcha ahụ nʼihe ọtụtụ.
11 So I tooke the booke of the possession, being sealed according to the Lawe, and custome, with the booke that was open,
Eweere m akwụkwọ ịzụta ala ahụ a kara akara, nke a nyachikwara anyachi, ebe e dere ihe banyere ọzụzụ na orire nke ala ahụ, werekwa ụdị akwụkwọ ahụ nke a na-anyachighị anyachi,
12 And I gaue the booke of the possession vnto Baruch the sonne of Neriah, the sonne of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine vncles sonne, and in the presence of the witnesses, written in the booke of the possession, before al the Iewes that sate in the court of the prison.
nyefee ha nʼaka Baruk nwa Neraya, nwa Mahseia, nʼihu Hanamel nwanna m, na nʼihu ndị akaebe ndị ọzọ, ndị aka ha dị nʼakwụkwọ ahụ, na nʼihu ndị Juu ndị ọzọ, ndị nọ nʼogige ụlọ ndị agha ahụ.
13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
“Nʼihu ha, enyere m Baruk iwu ndị a sị ya,
14 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Take the writings, euen this booke of the possession, both that is sealed, and this booke that is open, and put them in an earthen vessell, that they may continue a long time.
‘Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru, Were akwụkwọ ndị a, ma nke a nyachiri anyachi, ma nke a na-anyachighị anyachi, tinye ha nʼime ite e ji ụrọ kpụọ, ebe ha ga-adị ogologo oge.
15 For the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel saith thus, Houses and fieldes, and vineyardes shall be possessed againe in this land.
Nʼihi na ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru, a ga-emesịakwa zụọ ụlọ, ala ubi nakwa ubi vaịnị nʼala a.’
16 Now when I had deliuered the booke of the possession vnto Baruch, the sonne of Neriah, I prayed vnto the Lord, saying,
“Mgbe m nyechasịrị Baruk nwa Neraya akwụkwọ ndị ahụ, ekpere m ekpere nye Onyenwe anyị sị,
17 Ah Lord God, beholde, thou hast made the heauen and the earth by thy great power, and by thy stretched out arme, and there is nothing hard vnto thee.
“Gị, Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị ọ bụ gị sitere nʼike gị dị ukwuu, na aka gị e setịrị eseti mee eluigwe na ụwa. O nweghị ihe ọbụla ị na-enweghị ike ime.
18 Thou shewest mercie vnto thousands, and recompensest the iniquitie of the fathers into the bosome of their children after them: O God the great and mightie, whose Name is ye Lord of hostes,
Ị na-egosi ịhụnanya nye ọtụtụ puku ndị mmadụ ma na-eweta ịta ahụhụ nye ụmụ site nʼihi mmehie nna ha. O Chineke dị ukwuu dịkwa ike, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile bụ aha gị.
19 Great in counsell, and mightie in worke, (for thine eyes are open vpon all the wayes of ye sonnes of men, to giue to euery one according to his wayes, and according to the fruite of his workes)
Nzube gị dị ukwuu, otu a kwa akaọrụ gị dịkwa ukwuu. Anya gị ghere oghe nye ụzọ mmadụ niile. Ị na-akwụghachikwa onye ọbụla dịka ndụ ya na akaọrụ ya si dị.
20 Which hast set signes and wonders in the land of Egypt vnto this day, and in Israel, and among all men, and hast made thee a Name, as appeareth this day,
Ọ bụ gị mere ihe ịrịbama na ihe ebube dị iche iche nʼIjipt. Ị nọgidekwara na-arụ ha ruo taa, ma nʼala Izrel ma nʼetiti ndị niile nọ nʼụwa. Nʼihi ya, i meere onwe gị aha nke ka bụkwa nke gị nʼebe niile.
21 And hast brought thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signes, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, with a stretched out arme, and with great terrour,
Ọ bụ ihe ịrịbama na ọrụ ebube dị iche iche, nʼaka dị ike, na ogwe aka e setịpụrụ esetipụ, nʼihe oke egwu, ka i ji kpọpụta ndị gị Izrel site nʼIjipt.
22 And hast giuen them this land, which thou diddest sweare to their fathers to giue them, euen a land, that floweth with milke and hony,
Ị nyere ha ala a, nke ị ṅụrụ nʼiyi inye nna nna ha, ala mmiri ara ehi na mmanụ aṅụ na-eru na ya.
23 And they came in, and possessed it, but they obeyed not thy voyce, neither walked in thy Law: all that thou commaundedst them to doe, they haue not done: therefore thou hast caused this whole plague to come vpon them.
Ha batara nʼala a, nweta ya, ma ha jụrụ irubere gị isi, maọbụ jegharịa nʼiwu gị; ha emeghị ihe ndị i nyere ha nʼiwu mee. Nʼihi ya, i mere ka ihe ọjọọ ndị a bịakwasị ha.
24 Beholde, the mounts, they are come into the citie to take it, and the citie is giuen into the hande of the Caldeans, that fight against it by meanes of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence, and what thou hast spoken, is come to passe, and beholde, thou seest it.
“Lee ka ndị iro si wuo ihe agha ha gburugburu mgbidi obodo a, ihe agha nke ha ga-eji lụta ya nʼagha. I werela obodo a nyefee ndị Babilọn na-ebuso ya agha nʼaka, nʼihi mma agha na ụnwụ, na oke ọrịa dị nʼime ya. Ihe i kwuru na ọ ga-eme emezuola, dịka i si ahụ ya ugbu a.
25 And thou hast sayd vnto me, O Lord God, Bye vnto thee the fielde for siluer, and take witnesses: for the citie shall be giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.
Ma ọ bụ ezie na a ga-enyefe obodo a nʼaka ndị Babilọn, ma gị, Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị gwara m sị, ‘Were ọlaọcha zụta ala ahụ. Zụkwaa ya nʼihu ndị akaebe.’”
26 Then came the worde of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,
Mgbe ahụ, okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru Jeremaya ntị sị ya,
27 Beholde, I am the LORD GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
“Abụ m Onyenwe anyị, Chineke nke anụ ahụ niile bụ mmadụ. Ọ dị ihe ọbụla karịrị m ime?
28 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I wil giue this citie into the hand of the Caldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar, King of Babel, and he shall take it.
Ya mere, ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ejikerela m ugbu a inyefe obodo a nʼaka ndị Babilọn, na nʼaka Nebukadneza eze Babilọn, onye ga-alụta ya nʼagha.
29 And the Caldeans shall come and fight against this citie, and set fire on this citie and burne it, with the houses, vpon whose rouses they haue offred incense vnto Baal, and powred drinke offrings vnto other gods, to prouoke me vnto anger.
Ndị Babilọn ahụ na-ebuso obodo a agha, ga-abata nʼime ya, kpọọ ya ọkụ. Ha ga-akpọ ya ọkụ, ya na ụlọ niile dị nʼime ya, bụ ụlọ niile ahụ ndị bi nʼime ya nọ kpasuo m iwe, site nʼisure ihe nsure ọkụ na-esi isi ụtọ nye chi Baal nʼelu ụlọ ha niile, na site nʼịwụsara chi ndị ọzọ onyinye ihe ọṅụṅụ.
30 For the children of Israel, and the children of Iudah haue surely done euill before me from their youth: for the children of Israel haue surely prouoked me to anger with the workes of their hands, saith the Lord.
“Ọ bụ naanị ihe ọjọọ ka ndị Izrel na ndị Juda mere nʼihu m site na mgbe ha bụ nwantakịrị. Nʼezie, ha esitela nʼihe ha ji aka mee kpasuo m iwe, ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
31 Therefore this citie hath bene vnto me as a prouocation of mine anger, and of my wrath, from the day, that they built it, euen vnto this day, that I should remoue it out of my sight,
Site nʼoge e wuru ya ruo ugbu a, ndị bi nʼobodo a akpaliela iwe m na ọnụma m. Ya mere, aga m esite nʼihu m wezuga ha.
32 Because of all the euill of the children of Israel, and of the children of Iudah, which they haue done to prouoke mee to anger, euen they, their Kings, their Princes, their Priests, and their Prophets, and the men of Iudah, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.
Ndị Izrel na Juda, na ndị eze ha, na ndịisi ọchịchị ha, na ndị nchụaja ha, na ndị amụma ha, na ndị ikom Juda, ma ndị bi na Jerusalem, akpasuola m iwe site nʼihe ọjọọ niile ha mere.
33 And they haue turned vnto me the backe and not the face: though I taught them rising vp earely, and instructing them, yet they were not obedient to receiue doctrine,
Ha gbakụtara m azụ, jụ ilenye anya nʼebe m nọ. Ọ bụ ezie na m ziri ha ihe mgbe mgbe, ma ha jụrụ ige ntị, jụkwa ịnabata ịdọ aka na ntị m.
34 But they set their abominations in ye house (whereupon my Name was called) to defile it,
Ha doro oyiyi ihe arụ nʼụlọnsọ ahụ a kpọkwasịrị aha m, si otu a merụọ ya.
35 And they built the hie places of Baal, which are in the valley of Ben-hinnom, to cause their sonnes and their daughters to passe through the fire vnto Molech, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my minde, that they should doe such abomination, to cause Iudah to sinne.
Ha wuru ebe dị elu dị iche iche na Ndagwurugwu nke Ben Hinom nye Baal, ebe ha nọ jiri ụmụ ha ndị ikom na ndị inyom chụọ aja nye Molek. O nweghị mgbe m nyere ha iwu ime ihe dị otu a, o nweghị mgbe ajọ ihe dị otu a batara m nʼobi, nke i nye ha iwu ime ihe arụ dị otu a, nke ime ka Juda mehie.
36 And nowe therefore, thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken, concerning this citie, whereof ye say, It shalbe deliuered into the hand of the King of Babel by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence,
“Ihe i kwuru banyere obodo a bụ, ‘A ga-esite na mma agha, na nʼụnwụ, na nʼoke ọrịa, nyefee ha nʼaka eze Babilọn,’ ma ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel kwuru,
37 Beholde, I will gather them out of all countreys, wherein I haue scattered them in mine anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation, and I wil bring them againe vnto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.
Lee, aghaghị m ịchịkọta ha site na mba ndị ahụ niile m sitere nʼiwe m, na nʼoke ọnụma m chụga ha. Aga m akpọghachite ha nʼebe a, mee ka ha biri nʼudo.
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Ha ga-abụ ndị m, mụ onwe m ga-abụkwa Chineke ha.
39 And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them.
Aga m enye ha otu obi na otu ụzọ, ime ka ha na-atụ egwu m, nʼihi ọdịmma nke ha, na ọdịmma nke ụmụ ha ndị ga-eso ha.
40 And I wil make an euerlasting couenant with them, that I wil neuer turne away from them to doe them good, but I wil put my feare in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Aga m eme ka ọgbụgba ndụ ebighị ebi dịrị nʼetiti mụ na ha. Agaghị m akwụsị imere ha ihe ọma, aga m akwalikwa obi ha ịtụ egwu m. Nʼụzọ dị otu a, ha agaghị esitekwa nʼiso m wezuga onwe ha.
41 Yea, I wil delite in them to do them good, and I wil plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart, and with all my soule.
Obi ga-atọkwa m ụtọ ime ha mma; m ga-ejikwa obi m niile, na mkpụrụobi m niile kụọ ha nʼala a.
42 For thus sayth the Lord, Like as I haue brought all this great plague vpon this people, so wil I bring vpon them all the good that I haue promised them.
“Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, Dịka m mere ka ihe ọjọọ ukwuu a niile bịakwasị ndị a, otu a ka m ga-esikwa mee ka ezi ihe ahụ niile m kwere ha na nkwa bịakwasị ha.
43 And the fields shalbe possessed in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast, and shalbe giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.
A ga-azụkwa ọhịa nʼala a unu na-asị na ọ bụ ala tọgbọrọ nʼefu, nke mmadụ na anụmanụ na-adịghị nʼime ya, ala nke e nyefere nʼaka ndị Babilọn.
44 Men shall buy fields for siluer, and make writings and seale them, and take witnesses in the land of Beniamin, and round about Ierusalem, and in the cities of Iudah, and in the cities of the mountaines, and in the cities of the plaine, and in the cities of the South: for I wil cause their captiuitie to returne, saith the Lord.
A ga-ejikwa ọlaọcha zụọ ala ubi, deekwa ihe banyere orire na ọzụzụ ya nʼakwụkwọ. A ga-aka akwụkwọ ndị ahụ akara nʼihu ndị akaebe, nʼala Benjamin, na nʼobodo nta niile dị gburugburu Jerusalem, ma nʼala Juda, na nʼobodo dị nʼala ugwu ugwu, na nke dị na mgbada ugwu niile dị nʼọdịda anyanwụ, na nke dị na Negev, nʼihi na aga m esite nʼobodo ndị ahụ dọtara ha nʼagha buuru ha gaa kpọlata ha. Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.”
