Jeremiah 30
1 The worde, that came to Ieremiah from the Lord, saying,
LA parola che fu dal Signore [indirizzata] a Geremia, dicendo:
2 Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the wordes, that I haue spoken vnto thee in a booke.
Così ha detto il Signore, l'Iddio d'Israele: Scriviti in un libro tutte le parole che io ti ho dette.
3 For loe, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I wil bring againe the captiuitie of my people Israel and Iudah, saith the Lord: for I will restore them vnto the lande, that I gaue to their fathers, and they shall possesse it.
Perciocchè, ecco, i giorni vengono, dice il Signore, che io ritrarrò di cattività il mio popolo, Israele e Giuda, ha detto il Signore; e li ricondurrò nel paese, che io diedi ai padri loro, ed essi lo possederanno.
4 Againe, these are the wordes that the Lord spake concerning Israel, and concerning Iudah.
Or queste [sono] le parole, che il Signore ha pronunziate intorno ad Israele, ed a Giuda.
5 For thus saith the Lord, wee haue heard a terrible voyce, of feare and not of peace.
Perciocchè il Signore ha detto così: Noi abbiamo udito un grido di terrore; spavento, e niuna pace.
6 Demand now and beholde, if man trauayle with childe? wherefore doe I beholde euery man with his hands on his loynes as a woman in trauaile, and all faces are turned into a palenesse?
Deh! domandate, e vedete se un maschio partorisce; perchè [dunque] ho io veduto ogni uomo con le mani in su i lombi, come una donna che partorisce? e [perchè] son tutte le facce cangiate, e divenute pallide?
7 Alas, for this day is great: none hath bene like it: it is euen the time of Iaakobs trouble, yet shall he be deliuered from it.
Ohimè lasso! quant'[è] pur grande quel giorno! non ne [fu giammai] alcun pari; egli è il tempo della distretta a Giacobbe; ma pure egli ne sarà salvato.
8 For in that day, sayth the Lord of hostes, I will breake his yoke from off thy necke, and breake thy bondes, and strangers shall no more serue themselues of him.
Ed avverrà in quel giorno, dice il Signor degli eserciti, che io spezzerò il giogo di colui d'in sul tuo collo, e romperò i tuoi legami; e gli stranieri non ti terranno più in servitù.
9 But they shall serue the Lord their God, and Dauid their King, whom I will raise vp vnto them.
Anzi serviranno al Signore Iddio loro, e a Davide, lor re, che io susciterò loro.
10 Therefore feare not, O my seruant Iaakob, saith the Lord, neither be afrayde, O Israel: for loe, I will deliuer thee from a farre countrey, and thy seede from the lande of their captiuitie, and Iaakob shall turne againe, and shalbe in rest and prosperitie and none shall make him afraide.
Tu adunque, o Giacobbe, mio servitore, non temere, dice il Signore; e non ispaventarti, o Israele; perciocchè, ecco, io ti salverò di lontano [paese], e la tua progenie dal paese della sua cattività; e Giacobbe ritornerà, e sarà in riposo, e tranquillità; e non [vi sarà] alcuno che [lo] spaventi.
11 For I am with thee, sayth the Lord, to saue thee: though I vtterly destroy all the nations where I haue scattered thee, yet will I not vtterly destroy thee, but I will correct thee by iudgement, and not vtterly cut thee off.
Perciocchè io [son] teco, dice il Signore, per salvarti; e farò una finale esecuzione sopra tutte le genti, dove ti avrò disperso; ma sopra te non farò una finale esecuzione; anzi ti castigherò moderatamente; ma pur non ti lascerò del tutto impunito.
12 For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruising is incurable, and thy wound is dolorous.
Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signore: Il tuo fiaccamento è senza rimedio, la tua piaga [è] dolorosa.
13 There is none to iudge thy cause, or to lay a plaister: there are no medicines, nor help for thee.
Non [vi è] alcuno che prenda in mano la tua causa, per guarir [la tua piaga]; tu non hai alcuni medicamenti per risaldar[la].
14 All thy louers haue forgotten thee: they seeke thee not: for I haue striken thee with the wound of an enemie, and with a sharpe chastisement for ye multitude of thine iniquities, because thy sinnes were increased.
Tutti i tuoi amanti ti hanno dimenticata, non ti ricercano; perciocchè io ti ho percossa d'una battitura da nemico, d'un gastigamento da crudele; per la grandezza della tua iniquità, [perchè] i tuoi peccati sono accresciuti.
15 Why cryest thou for thine affliction? thy sorowe is incurable, for the multitude of thine iniquities: because thy sinnes were increased, I haue done these things vnto thee.
Perchè gridi per lo tuo fiaccamento? la tua doglia [è] insanabile. Io ti ho fatte queste cose per la grandezza della tua iniquità, [perchè] i tuoi peccati sono accresciuti.
16 Therefore all they that deuoure thee, shall be deuoured, and all thine enemies euery one shall goe into captiuitie: and they that spoyle thee, shalbe spoyled, and all they that robbe thee, wil I giue to be robbed.
Ma pure, tutti quelli che ti divorano saranno divorati, e tutti i tuoi nemici andranno in cattività, e quelli che ti spogliano saranno spogliati, e darò in preda tutti quelli che ti predano.
17 For I will restore health vnto thee, and I will heale thee of thy woundes, saith the Lord, because they called thee, The cast away, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
Perciocchè io risalderò [la tua piaga], e ti guarirò delle tue ferite, dice il Signore; perciocchè ti hanno chiamata: Scacciata, Sion che niuno ricerca.
18 Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakobs tentes, and haue compassion on his dwelling places: and the citie shalbe builded vpon her owne heape, and the palace shall remaine after the maner thereof.
Così ha detto il Signore: Ecco, io ritrarrò di cattività i tabernacoli di Giacobbe, ed avrò pietà de' suoi abitacoli; e la città sarà riedificata in sul suo colmo, e il Tempio sarà posto secondo i suoi ordini.
19 And out of them shall proceede thankesgiuing, and the voyce of them that are ioyous, and I will multiplie them, and they shall not bee fewe: I will also glorifie them, and they shall not be diminished.
E di quelli uscirà lode, e voce d'uomini festeggianti; ed io li farò moltiplicare, e non iscemeranno; e li accrescerò, e non diminuiranno.
20 Their children also shall be as afore time, and their congregation shall be established before me: and I will visite all that vexe them.
E i suoi figliuoli saranno come anticamente, e la sua raunanza sarà stabilita dinanzi a me; e farò punizione di tutti quelli che l'oppressano.
21 And their noble ruler shall be of themselues, and their gouernour shall proceede from the middes of them, and I will cause him to draw neere, and approche vnto me: for who is this that directeth his heart to come vnto mee, saith the Lord?
E colui che avrà autorità sopra lui sarà di lui stesso, e colui che signoreggerà sopra lui uscirà del mezzo di lui; ed io lo farò accostare, ed egli verrà a me; perciocchè chi è colui che pieghi dolcemente il cuor suo, per accostarsi a me? dice il Signore.
22 And ye shall be my people, and I will bee your God.
E voi mi sarete popolo, ed io vi sarò Dio.
23 Beholde, the tempest of the Lord goeth foorth with wrath: the whirlewinde that hangeth ouer, shall light vpon the head of the wicked.
Ecco il turbo del Signore, l'ira è uscita fuori, la tempesta si accoglie; caderà sopra il capo degli empi.
24 The fierce wrath of the Lord shall not returne, vntill he haue done, and vntill he haue performed the intents of his heart: in the latter dayes ye shall vnderstand it.
L'ardor dell'ira del Signore non si racqueterà, finchè egli non abbia eseguiti e messi ad effetto i pensieri del cuor suo; alla fin de' giorni voi intenderete la cosa.
