1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she goe from him, and become another mans, shall hee returne againe vnto her? shall not this land be polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many louers: yet turne againe to mee, sayeth the Lord.
Vetan, pasal khat in ajinu ada-a, amanu chu achemanga michomtoh akichenteng, ajiluipa chu amanu heng’a galutji mong am? Chutitaleh, amanuchun gamsung pumpi chu asuhboh ding ahitai. Israel, nangjong nadongma tamtah angsunga noti banga naum nunga, ibol’a kahenga hung kile kit go nahim? tin Pakaiyin aseiye.
2 Lift vp thine eyes vnto the hie places, and beholde, where thou hast not plaied the harlot: thou hast sit waiting for them in the waies, as the Arabian in the wildernesse: and thou hast polluted the lande with thy whoredomes, and with thy malice.
Khodah in lhangvum lai laiya doiphung hokhu ven, semthu pathen chom chomho chibai nabohlouna mun um am? Gamthip noiya noti bangin, nachangin natouvin, setpi dingin kholche vahle ho nangah in, nachonna ho jouse chun gamsung pumpi asuhboh ahitai.
3 Therefore the showres haue beene restrained, and the latter raine came not, and thou haddest a whores forehead: thou wouldest not bee ashamed.
Hiche jehtah chun, aphat phat’a hung julhaji go leh dai jong atangtai. Ajeh chu, jumleh ja helouhel in noti bangin, nangma nachontai.
4 Diddest thou not stil crie vnto me, Thou art my father, and the guide of my youth?
Ahivang in tuhin kajah’a, “Nangma kapa nahin, kaneova pat neihin khoukhah jing ahi,’’ nati.
5 Wil he keepe his anger for euer? will he reserue it to the ende? thus hast thou spoken, but thou doest euill, euen more and more.
“Kachunga lunghang denpon natin chuleh atonsot in nei lunghan denpon nate,’’ nati. Ahin hitia naseivangin, nangman nanop nop in ase naboljingin, nachon namlhah nanga dehpoi,’’ ati.
6 The Lord saide also vnto me, in the daies of Iosiah the King, Hast thou seene what this rebell Israel hath done? for she hath gone vp vpon euery high mountaine, and vnder euery greene tree, and there plaied the harlot.
Josiah lengpa nikholaiyin, Pakaiyin kajah’a thu ahinseitai, “Israel in kitahlouhel’a, thilse hichengpi aboldoh hi, namu hitalou ham? Numei aji umkhat michom toh ajon bangin, lhangsanglai jousea thingphungnoi tin’a, noti chon banga achon’a chuleh pathen semthu ho ahou jingkhu, nahetsoh hilou ham?’’
7 And I sayde, when shee had done all this, Turne thou vnto me: but she returned not, as her rebellious sister Iudah sawe.
Hicheho pikhu gaboldoh jongleh, keima heng’a hung kilekit teidin kanangah’e. Ahivangin amanu ahungkilekit dehpon, chuleh achonthanghoina ho chu, asopinu michavai Judah chun akimudoh sohkit ahitai.
8 When I sawe, howe that by all occasions rebellious Israel had plaied the harlot, I cast her away, and gaue her a bill of diuorcement: yet her rebellious sister Iudah was not afraied, but shee went also, and plaied the harlot.
Israel chu michom toh ajon’a, kitahlou tah’a aumjeh’a, keiman amachu kada-a kadelmang ahichu, asopinu Judah in amusoh ahitai. Ahivangin, michavainu Judah in, hitiho chu kichat in aneidehpoi. Keiya konin amanu avahmangin, noti chon in achontai.
9 So that for the lightnesse of her whoredome shee hath euen defiled the lande: for shee hath committed fornication with stones and stockes.
Amanun noti chon’a achonna chu imalouvin agel’in, thingphung songphung ahouvin, chuleh mitoh ajongin gamsung asubohtai.
10 Neuerthelesse for all this, her rebellious sister Iudah hath not returned vnto mee with her whole heart, but fainedly, sayth the Lord.
Ahinlah hichengse abolnungin jong, asopinu michavainu Judah chu kahenga lungtheng selin ahung kilekit dehpon, amanun akisih banga abol jouse hi, kilepna-a abolthu ahibouve, tin keima Pakaiyin kasei ahitai.
11 And the Lord said vnto me, The rebellious Israel hath iustified her selfe more then the rebellious Iudah.
Chuin Pakaiyin kajah’a, “Israel chu achonchatvai lheh vang'in, asopinu Judah kitah louna sangin athemmona alhomjoi.”
12 Goe and crie these woordes towarde the North and say, Thou disobedient Israel, returne, sayeth the Lord, and I will not let my wrath fall vpon you: for I am mercifull, sayeth the Lord, and I will not alway keepe mine anger.

13 But knowe thine iniquitie: for thou hast rebelled against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy waies to the straunge gods vnder euery greene tree, but yee woulde not obey my voyce, sayeth the Lord.
Nathemmona kihet in, Pakai na Pathen douna-a nachonset naho, thingphungnoi tin’a doilim pathen ho nahouva, chuleh mitoh najon naho chu, phongdoh poupouvin. Nangman kathusei jouse jong nangai poi,’’ tin Pakayin kaphondoh ahitai.
14 O yee disobedient children, turne againe, sayeth the Lord, for I am your Lord, and I will take you one of a citie, and two of a tribe and wil bring you to Zion,
Vo kitahlou vahmang chate, keima henga hung kilekit uvin, tin Pakaiyin aseiye. Ijeh inem itileh, keima nangho dinga na Pakaiyu kahi. Keiman nangho munchom chom’a pat’a kalahkhom ding, khopi khat’a mini kalah ding, Israel gamsung’a kahin lepuilut ding nahiuve, “ati.
15 And I will giue you pastours according to mine heart, which shall feede you with knowledge and vnderstanding.
Chuleh keiman kadeitah, nangho kelngoi chinbanga nachingtup diu khat kapeh ding nahiuve. Aman nangho chunga hetna leh thil hetkhen themna toh tho’a, napuihoi diu ahi.
16 Moreouer, when yee be increased and multiplied in the land, in those daies, saieth the Lord, they shall say no more, The Arke of the couenant of the Lord: for it shall come no more to minde, neither shall they remember it, neither shall they visite it, for that shalbe no more done.
Chuleh nangho napunbe cheh cheh uva, gamsung chu nadimset teng uleh, Pakai kitepna thingkong naputleuva nakipanau nikholai chu ngaitapouvin nate. Gel jong nageldoh tahlou diu chuleh hiche nikholai chu nalungvil kit tahlou diu, chuleh thingkong jong nasemphat kit tahlou diu ahi,’’ tin Pakaiyin aseiye.
17 At that time they shall cal Ierusalem, The throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered vnto it, euen to the Name of the Lord in Ierusalem: and thence foorth they shall follow no more the hardnesse of their wicked heart.
Hiche nikho chuleh, Jerusalem chu Pakai laltouna kiti ding, namtin jouse Jerusalem’a hung kikhom’uva Pakai chu ajabol diu ahi. Chuphatleh amaho louchal tah’a umtalou diu, chuleh alung’uva gitlouna agelbang uva chu chontalou diu ahi.
18 In those daies ye house of Iudah shall walke with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the lande of the North, into the lande, that I haue giuen for an inheritance vnto your fathers.
Chuche nikholeh, Judah leh Israel mite chu asohchannau sahlam gam’a pat’a, hung kilekhom kit uva, keiman apu apateu kapehsa gamsung’a chu hunglut kit’uva, aitih’a gamsung chu aloden diu ahitai.
19 But I sayde, Howe did I take thee for children and giue thee a pleasant lande, euen the glorious heritage of the armies of the heathen, and saide, Thou shalt call mee, saying, My father, and shalt not turne from me?
Keiman kanagel chu, “Nanghi kachateho lah’a kasimtha-a, keiman hiche gam leiset hoitah leh aphapen hi, nang kapehdoh nahi. Chuleh nangma keiya kon’a avel’a napotdoh kittah louding ahi.
20 But as a woman rebelleth against her husband: so haue yee rebelled against me, O house of Israel, sayeth the Lord.
Ahivangin vo Israel mite! Nangho keiya dingin kitahna beikei nahiuve. Tahbeh mongin, numei kitahloutah khat in ajipa adalhah’a chavaitah’a achon bang’a, nangma naum ahitai, “tin keima Pakaiyin kasei ahitai.
21 A voice was heard vpon the hie places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they haue peruerted their way, and forgotten the Lord their God.
Lhangvum chaivet vut’a kon, ogin nasatah akijai, hichu Israrel chate kana leh thumna ogin ahi. Ajeh chu amahon achenau lampi chu akaleh lam in akilhen un, chuleh Pakai a Pathen’u chu asumiltauvin ahi.
22 O yee disobedient children, returne and I wil heale your rebellions. Behold, we come vnto thee, for thou art the Lord our God.
Pakaiyin aseiye,’’ Kitahna bei kamite, kahenga hung kilekit’uvin, chuleh keiman nakitahlounau lungthim chu kabol dam ding ahi,’’ ati. Amahon adonbut’un, “Nahenga kahungtauve! Ijeh inem itileh, nangma keiho Pakai leh ka Pathen’u nahibouve, atiuvin ahi.
23 Truely the hope of the hilles is but vaine, nor the multitude of mountaines: but in the Lord our God is the health of Israel.
Thinglhang jousea semthu doilim ihouva, chuleh molsangvum tin’a doi houna maicham phung iboljouse hi, abon’a pannabei leh kilhep lhahna ahibouve. Tahbeh mongin, Israel dingin huhhingna chu Pakai I Pathen uva bou um ahi.
24 For confusion hath deuoured our fathers labour, from our youth their sheepe and their bullocks, their sonnes and their daughters.
Neolaiya pat’a ihinmu jing’u, pulehpa ten gimtah’a – akelngoiho ding, aganchaho ding, chuleh achapate leh achanute ding, abol jouseu jong chu pannabei leh kilheplhahna ahibouve.
25 Wee lie downe in our confusion, and our shame couereth vs: for we haue sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers from our youth, euen vnto this day, and haue not obeyed the voyce of the Lord our God.
Eiho tun jum manin tol’ah kijam’u hitin, mihon noisetah’a ibolnau chu kikhuden sah’ute. Ajeh chu eiho leh iputeuvin, Pakai I Pathen’u dounan chonset inaboltauve. Ajeh chu eihon ineolaiyuva pat tuni geiyin I Pathen’u ogin ingaipouvin chuleh ijuitapouve.
