< Jeremiah 29 >
1 Now these are the wordes of the booke that Ieremiah the Prophet sent from Ierusalem vnto the residue of the Elders which were caryed away captiues, and to the Priestes, and to the Prophets, and to all the people whome Nebuchad-nezzar had caried away captiue from Ierusalem to Babel:
Intoy ty enta’ i taratasy nampihitrife’ Iirmeà mpitoky boak’ Ierosalaime mb’amo sehangan-droandriañe an-drohy añe naho amo mpisoroñeo naho am’ondaty iaby nasese’ i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele mb’am-pandrohizañe añe boak’ Ierosalaime ao mb’e Bavele añeo,
2 (After that Ieconiah the King, and the Queene, and the eunuches, the princes of Iudah, and of Ierusalem, and the workemen, and cunning men were departed from Ierusalem)
ie fa nienga’ Ierosalaime t’Iekonia mpanjaka naho i rene-mpanjakay naho o mpifelekeo, naho o roandria’ Iehodà naho Ierosalaimeo naho o mpandranjio vaho o mpanefeo,
3 By the hand of Elasah the sonne of Shaphan and Gemariah the sonne of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah King of Iudah sent vnto Babel to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel) saying,
am-pità’ i Elasà, ana’ i Safane ana’ i Gemarià, ana’ i Kelkià nirahe’ i Tsidkia mpanjaka’ Iehodà mb’ amy Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele, nanao ty hoe:
4 Thus hath the Lord of hostes the God of Israel spoken vnto all that are caryed away captiues, whome I haue caused to be caryed away captiues from Ierusalem vnto Babel:
Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, t’i Andrianañahare’ Israele, amo mpirohy iabio, o nampaneseko an-drohy boak’ Ierosalaime mb’e Bavele mb’eoo:
5 Buylde you houses to dwell in, and plant you gardens, and eate the fruites of them.
Andranjio anjomba le imoneño, amboleo an-koboñe ao vaho ikamao ty voka’e;
6 Take you wiues, and beget sonnes and daughters, and take wiues for your sonnes, and giue your daughters to husbands, that they may beare sonnes and daughters, that ye may bee increased there, and not diminished.
mañengà valy naho misamaha ana-dahy naho anak’ampela; androroto enga-vao o ana-dahi’ areoo le atoloro amo mpañengao ty anak’ ampela’ areo, hisamaha’ iareo ana-dahy naho anak’ ampela; vaho manaranaha añe fa ko miketrake.
7 And seeke the prosperitie of the citie, whither I haue caused you to be caried away captiues, and pray vnto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall you haue peace.
Ampanintsiño i rova nampaneseko anahareo an-drohiy vaho mihalalia am’ Iehovà ho aze; amy te i fierañeraña’ey ty hierañeraña’ areo.
8 For thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Let not your prophets, and your southsayers that bee among you, deceiue you, neither giue eare to your dreames, which you dreame.
Fa hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, i Andrianañahare’ Israeley; Ko apo’ areo hamañahy anahareo o mpitoky naho mpañandro añivo’ areoo, vaho ko haoñe’ areo o nofy nampañanofiseñe iareoo.
9 For they prophecie you a lie in my Name: I haue not sent them, saith the Lord.
Ie mitoky vìlañe ama’ areo ami’ ty añarako; fa tsy niraheko, hoe t’Iehovà.
10 But thus saith the Lord, That after seuentie yeeres be accomplished at Babel, I will visite you, and performe my good promise toward you, and cause you to returne to this place.
Aa hoe t’Iehovà: Ie heneke ty fitompolo taoñe e Bavele ao, le ho tiliheko naho hanoeko i hasoa nivolañeko ama’ areoy, t’ie hampoliko an-toetse atoy.
11 For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lord, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.
Toe apotako ty fisafiriako ho anahareo, hoe t’Iehovà, fisafiriam-pierañerañañe fa tsy hankàñe, hanolorako fitamàn-tsoa naho fisalalàñe.
12 Then shall you crie vnto mee, and ye shall go and pray vnto me, and I will heare you,
Hikanjy ahy nahareo, le hombeo iraho; hihalalia’areo, vaho ho tsanoñeko.
13 And ye shall seeke mee and finde mee, because ye shall seeke mee with all your heart.
Hipay ahy le ho rendre’ areo naho mitsoek’ an-kaampon’ arofo.
14 And I wil be found of you, saith the Lord, and I will turne away your captiuitie, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places, whither I haue cast you, saith the Lord, and will bring you againe vnto the place, whence I caused you to be caryed away captiue.
Ho oni’ areo iraho, hoe t’Iehovà, naho hafoteko ty fandrohizañe anahareo, naho hatontoko boak’ amo hene tane naho hirik’ amo toetse iaby nandroahako anahareoo, hoe t’Iehovà; le hampoliko mb’amy toetse nampaneseko anahareo mb’am-pandrohizañey.
15 Because ye haue sayd, The Lord hath raised vs vp Prophets in Babel,
Ami’ty natao’ areo ty hoe: Fa nampitroara’ Iehovà mpitoky e Bavele ao tika.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord of the King, that sitteth vpon the throne of Dauid, and of all the people, that dwell in this citie, your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captiuitie:
Aa hoe t’Iehovà ty amy mpanjaka miambesatse am-piambesa’ i Davidey naho ty am’ondaty iaby mpimoneñe an-drova atoio, o rolongo’ areo tsy nindre nienga ama’ areo mb’ am-pandrohizañ’ añeo,
17 Euen thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Beholde, I will sende vpon them the sworde, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figges, that cannot bee eaten, they are so naughtie.
hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Inao te hampañitrifeko am’ iereo ty fibara, ty hasalikoañe, naho ty angorosy, vaho hampanahafeko ami’ty sakoa mangeñe tsy mete haneñe ty amy haratia’ey;
18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence: and I will make them a terror to all kingdomes of the earth, and a curse, and astonishment and an hissing, and a reproche among all the nations whither I haue cast them,
naho horidañeko am-pibara naho saliko naho kiria naho hampandronje-ronjèko mb’amy ze kila fifehea’ ty tane toy ho fatse naho halatsañe, ho fikosihañe, vaho fañinjeañe amo fifelehañe iaby niroaheko iareoo;
19 Because they haue not hearde my words, saith the Lord, which I sent vnto them by my seruantes the Prophetes, rising vp earely, and sending them, but yee woulde not heare, saith the Lord.
amy t’ie tsy nanaoñ’ o volakoo, hoe t’Iehovà, ie nañitrifako o mpitoky mpitorokoo, nañaleñaleñe te namantoke, f’ie tsy nimete nijanjiñe, hoe t’Iehovà.
20 Heare ye therefore the word of the Lord all ye of the captiuitie, whome I haue sent from Ierusalem to Babel.
Aa le mijanjiña ty tsara’ Iehovà ry am-pandrohizañe añe iaby nampaneseko boak’ Ierosalaime mb’e Bavele mb’eoo.
21 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, of Ahab the sonne of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the sonne of Maaseiah, which prophecie lyes vnto you in my Name, Beholde, I will deliuer them into the hande of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, and he shall slay them before your eyes.
Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, t’i Andrianañahare’ Israele, ty amy Akabe ana’ i Kolaià, naho i Tsidkià ana’ i Maaseià, i mitoky vande ama’ areo aman’ añarako rey: Inao t’ie haseseko am-pità’ i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele; vaho ho vonoe’e añatrefam-pihaino’ areo;
22 And al they of the captiuitie of Iudah, that are in Babel, shall take vp this curse against them, and say, The Lord make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whome the King of Babel burnt in the fire,
le ho toñone’ ze hene mpirohi’ Iehodà e Bavele ao ty fatse ami’ty hoe: Hanoe’ Iehovà hambañe amy nanoa’e amy Akabe naho amy Tsidkià, i nampiforototoe’ ty mpanjaka’ i Bavele añ’afo ao rey;
23 Because they haue committed vilenie in Israel, and haue committed adulterie with their neighbours wiues, and haue spoken lying words in my Name, which I haue not commanded them, euen I knowe it, and testifie it, saith the Lord.
amy t’ie nitoloñe haloloañe e Israele ao, naho nanao hakarapiloañe amo tañanjomban-drañe’eo naho nisaontsy vìlañe ami’ty añarako, f’ie tsy nandiliako; toe maharendreke iraho naho mahatalily, hoe t’Iehovà.
24 Thou shalt also speake to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,
Le ty amy Semaià nte-Nekelamý, isaontsio ty hoe,
25 Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy Name vnto all the people, that are at Ierusalem, and to Zephaniah the sonne of Maaseiah the Priest, and to all the Priests, saying,
Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, i Andrianañahare’ Israeley: Amy te ihe nanokitse taratasy ami’ty añara’o amy ze hene’ ondaty e Ierosalaime ao naho amy Tsefanià ana’ i Maaseià mpisoroñe, vaho amo mpisoroñe iabio, nanao ty hoe:
26 The Lord hath made thee Priest for Iehoiada the Priest, that yee should bee officers in the House of the Lord, for euery man that raueth and maketh himselfe a Prophet, to put him in prison and in the stockes.
Fa nanoe’ Iehovà mpisoroñe irehe hisolo’ Iehoiada mpisoroñe, soa te ho amam-pisary ty añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ty amy ze dagola mitoky, hampijoñe aze am-balabey naho an-dongòk’ ao.
27 Nowe therefore why hast not thou reproued Ieremiah of Anathoth, which prophecieth vnto you?
Aa vaho akore te tsy nendaha’o t’Iirmeà nte-Anatote, ie manao ho mpitoky ama’ areo,
28 For, for this cause hee sent vnto vs in Babel, saying, This captiuitie is long: buyld houses to dwell in, and plant gardens, and eate the fruites of them.
naho nampañitrife’e ama’ay e Bavele atoy ty hoe: Mbe ho ela ty fandrohizañe; mandranjia anjomba, le imoneño; le mambolea an-godoboñe ao vaho kamao ty voka’e?
29 And Zephaniah the Priest red this letter in the eares of Ieremiah the Prophet.
Le vinaki’ i Tsefanià mpisoroñe an-dravembia’ Iirmeà mpitoky i taratasy zay.
30 Then came the worde of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,
Niheo am’ Iirmeà amy zao ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
31 Send to all them of the captiuitie, saying, Thus saith the Lord of Shemaiah the Nehelamite, Because that Shemaiah hath prophecied vnto you, and I sent him not, and hee caused you to trust in a lye,
Ampisangitrifo amo hene am-pandrohizañeo ty hoe: Hoe t’Iehovà ty amy Semaià nte Nekelamý: Amy te nitoky ama’ areo t’i Semaià, f’ie tsy niraheko, vaho nampiantofa’e anahareo ty haremborake,
32 Therefore thus saieth the Lord, Behold, I wil visite Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seede: hee shall not haue a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he beholde the good, that I will doe for my people, sayth the Lord, because he hath spoken rebelliously against the Lord.
le hoe t’Iehovà: Inao! ho liloveko t’i Semaià nte Nekelamý naho o tiri’eo; ie tsy hanañe ty hitrao-pimoneñe am’ ondaty retoa, vaho tsy ho isa’e ty soa hanoeko am’ ondatikoo, hoe t’Iehovà; ty amo fiolañe tinaro’e am’ Iehovào.
