Jeremiah 28
1 And that same yeere in the beginning of the reigne of Zedekiah King of Iudah in the fourth yeere, and in the fifth moneth Hananiah the sonne of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake to mee in the House of the Lord in the presence of the Priestes, and of all the people, and said,
Cũng năm ấy, lúc Sê-đê-kia, vua Giu-đa, bắt đầu trị vì, tháng năm về năm thứ tư, Ha-na-nia, con trai A-xua, tiên tri ở Ga-ba-ôn, nói với tôi trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va, trước mặt các thầy tế lễ và cả dân sự rằng:
2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, saying, I haue broken the yoke of the King of Babel.
Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, phán như vầy: Ta đã bẻ ách của vua Ba-by-lôn.
3 Within two yeeres space I will bring into this place all the vessels of the Lords House, that Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel tooke away from this place, and caried them into Babel.
Trong hai năm trọn, mọi khí mạnh của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va mà Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, đã cất đi khỏi chỗ nầy và dời qua Ba-by-lôn, thì ta sẽ lại đem về trong nơi nầy.
4 And I will bring againe to this place Ieconiah the sonne of Iehoiakim King of Iudah, with all them that were caried away captiue of Iudah, and went into Babel, saith the Lord: for I will breake the yoke of the King of Babel.
Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Ta lại sẽ đem Giê-cô-nia, con trai Giê-hô-gia-kim, vua Giu-đa, và mọi người Giu-đa bị bắt làm phu tù qua Ba-by-lôn, cũng đều trở về trong nơi nầy nữa; vì ta sẽ bẻ ách của vua Ba-by-lôn.
5 Then the Prophet Ieremiah saide vnto the Prophet Hananiah in the presence of ye Priests, and in the presence of all the people that stoode in the House of the Lord.
Bấy giờ, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi đáp cùng tiên tri Ha-na-nia, trước mặt các thầy tế lễ và cả dân sự đương đứng trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va.
6 Euen the Prophet Ieremiah sayde, So bee it: the Lord so doe, the Lord confirme thy words which thou hast prophecied to restore the vessels of the Lordes House, and al that is caried captiue, from Babel, into this place.
Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói rằng: A-men, nguyền xin Ðức Giê-hô-va làm như vậy! Nguyền xin Ðức Giê-hô-va làm những lời ngươi đã nói tiên tri, đem những khí mạnh của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va và hết thảy những kẻ phu tù từ Ba-by-lôn trở về trong chốn nầy!
7 But heare thou now this worde that I will speake in thine eares and in the eares of all the people.
Dầu vậy, hãy nghe lời tôi nói vào tai ngươi và vào tai cả dân sự rằng:
8 The Prophets that haue beene before mee and before thee in time past, prophecied against many countreyes, and against great kingdomes, of warre, and of plagues, and of pestilence.
Các tiên tri ở trước tôi và trước ngươi, từ xưa đã nói tiên tri về giặc giã, tai vạ, và ôn dịch cho nhiều xứ và các nước lớn.
9 And the Prophet which prophecieth of peace, when the word of the Prophet shall come to passe, then shall the Prophet be knowen that the Lord hath truely sent him.
Nếu tiên tri được ứng nghiệm, thì sẽ biết tiên tri đó là thật bởi Ðức Giê-hô-va sai đến!
10 Then Hananiah the Prophet tooke the yoke from the Prophet Ieremiahs necke, and brake it.
Tiên tri Ha-na-nia bèn cất cái ách khỏi cổ tiên tri Giê-rê-mi, và bẻ đi.
11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Euen so will I breake the yoke of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, from the necke of al nations within the space of two yeres: and the Prophet Ieremiah went his way.
Ðoạn, Ha-na-nia nói trước mặt cả dân sự rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Trong hai năm trọn, ta cũng sẽ bẻ cái ách của Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, khỏi cổ mọi nước như vầy. Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi bèn đi.
12 Then the word of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah the Prophet, (after that Hananiah the Prophet had broken the yoke from the necke of the Prophet Ieremiah) saying,
Sai khi tiên tri Ha-na-nia đã cất cái ách khỏi cổ Giê-rê-mi, thì có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Giê-rê-mi như vầy:
13 Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus sayth the Lord, Thou hast broken the yokes of wood, but thou shalt make for them yokes of yron.
Ngươi khá đi nói với Ha-na-nia rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Ngươi đã bẻ ách bằng săng: song làm ách bằng sắt mà thế lại.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, I haue put a yoke of yron vpon the necke of all these nations, that they may serue Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel: for they shall serue him, and I haue giuen him the beasts of the fielde also.
Vì Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, phán như vầy: Ta đã để ách bằng sắt trên cổ mọi nước nầy, đặng chúng nó phải làm tôi Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn. Vả, chúng nó phải làm tôi người, và ta đã ban các loài thú đồng cho người nữa.
15 Then sayd the Prophet Ieremiah vnto the Prophet Hananiah, Heare nowe Hananiah, the Lord hath not sent thee, but thou makest this people to trust in a lye.
Ðoạn, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói với tiên tri Ha-na-nia rằng: Hỡi Ha-na-nia, hãy nghe! Ðức Giê-hô-va chưa hề sai ngươi, nhưng ngươi làm cho dân nầy trông cậy sự giả dối.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will cast thee from of the earth: this yeere thou shalt die, because thou hast spoken rebelliously against the Lord.
Vậy nên, Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ duồng ngươi khỏi mặt đất, năm nay ngươi sẽ chết vì đã nói ra sự bạn nghịch Ðức Giê-hô-va.
17 So Hananiah the Prophet died the same yeere in the seuenth moneth.
Cũng năm ấy, tháng bảy, thì tiên tri Ha-na-nia chết.
