Jeremiah 25

1 The word that came to Ieremiah, concerning all the people of Iudah in the fourth yeere of Iehoiakim the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah that was in the first yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel:

۱ کلامی که در سال چهارم یهویاقیم بن یوشیا، پادشاه یهودا که سال اول نبوکدرصر پادشاه بابل بود بر ارمیا درباره تمامی قوم یهودا نازل شد.

2 The which Ieremiah the Prophet spake vnto all the people of Iudah, and to all the inhabitants of Ierusalem, saying,

۲ و ارمیای نبی تمامی قوم یهودا و جمیع سکنه اورشلیم را به آن خطاب کرده، گفت:

3 From the thirteenth yeere of Iosiah the sonne of Amon King of Iudah, euen vnto this day (that is the three and twentieth yeere) the word of the Lord hath come vnto mee, and I haue spoken vnto you rising earely and speaking, but ye woulde not heare.

۳ «از سال سیزدهم یوشیا ابن آمون پادشاه یهودا تا امروز که بیست و سه سال باشدکلام خداوند بر من نازل می‌شد و من به شما سخن می‌گفتم و صبح زود برخاسته، تکلم می‌نمودم اما شما گوش نمی دادید.

4 And the Lord hath sent vnto you all his seruantes the Prophets, rising early and sending them, but yee would not heare, nor encline your eares to obey.

۴ و خداوند جمیع بندگان خود انبیا را نزد شما فرستاد و صبح زودبرخاسته، ایشان را ارسال نمود اما نشنیدید وگوش خود را فرا نگرفتید تا استماع نمایید.

5 They sayde, Turne againe now euery one from his euill way, and from the wickednes of your inuentions, and ye shall dwell in the lande that the Lord hath giuen vnto you, and to your fathers for euer and euer.

۵ وگفتند: هر یک از شما از راه بد خود و اعمال شریرخویش بازگشت نمایید و در زمینی که خداوند به شما و به پدران شما از ازل تا به ابد بخشیده است ساکن باشید.

6 And go not after other gods to serue them and to worshippe them, and prouoke me not to anger with the workes of your hands, and I will not punish you.

۶ و از عقب خدایان غیر نروید و آنهارا عبادت و سجده منمایید و به اعمال دستهای خود غضب مرا به هیجان میاورید مبادا بر شما بلابرسانم.»

7 Neuerthelesse ye would not heare me, saith the Lord, but haue prouoked mee to anger with the workes of your hands to your owne hurt.

۷ اما خداوند می‌گوید: «مرا اطاعت ننمودید بلکه خشم مرا به اعمال دستهای خویش برای بلای خود به هیجان آوردید.»

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hostes, Because ye haue not heard my wordes,

۸ بنابراین یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید: «چونکه کلام مرا نشنیدید،

9 Beholde, I will send and take to mee all the families of the North, saith the Lord, and Nebuchad-nezzar the King of Babel my seruant, and will bring them against this lande, and against the inhabitantes thereof, and against all these nations rounde about, and will destroy them, and make them an astonishment and an hissing, and a continuall desolation.

۹ خداوند می‌گوید: اینک من فرستاده، تمامی قبایل شمال را با بنده خود نبوکدرصر پادشاه بابل گرفته، ایشان را بر این زمین و بر ساکنانش و بر همه امت هایی که به اطراف آن می‌باشند خواهم آورد و آنها را بالکل هلاک کرده، دهشت و مسخره و خرابی ابدی خواهم ساخت.

10 Moreouer I will take from them the voyce of mirth and the voyce of gladnesse, the voyce of the bridegrome and the voyce of the bride, the noise of the milstones, and the light of the candle.

۱۰ و از میان ایشان آواز شادمانی و آواز خوشی و صدای داماد و صدای عروس وصدای آسیا و روشنایی چراغ را نابود خواهم گردانید.

11 And this whole land shalbe desolate, and an astonishment, and these nations shall serue the King of Babel seuentie yeeres.

۱۱ و تمامی این زمین خراب و ویران خواهد شد و این قوم‌ها هفتاد سال پادشاه بابل رابندگی خواهند نمود.»

12 And when the seuentie yeres are accomplished, I will visite the King of Babel and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquities, euen the land of the Caldeans, and will make it a perpetuall desolation,

۱۲ و خداوند می‌گوید که «بعد از انقضای هفتاد سال من بر پادشاه بابل و برآن امت و بر زمین کلدانیان عقوبت گناه ایشان راخواهم رسانید و آن را به خرابی ابدی مبدل خواهم ساخت.

13 And I will bring vpon that lande all my wordes which I haue pronounced against it, euen all that is written in this booke, which Ieremiah hath prophecied against all nations.

۱۳ و بر این زمین تمامی سخنان خود را که به ضد آن گفته‌ام یعنی هر‌چه در این کتاب مکتوب است که ارمیا آن را درباره جمیع امت‌ها نبوت کرده است خواهم آورد.

14 For many nations, and great Kings shall euen serue themselues of them: thus will I recompense them according to their deedes, and according to the workes of their owne handes.

۱۴ زیرا که امت های بسیار و پادشاهان عظیم ایشان را بنده خود خواهند ساخت و ایشان را موافق افعال ایشان و موافق اعمال دستهای ایشان مکافات خواهم رسانید.»

15 For thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken vnto me, Take the cuppe of wine of this mine indignation at mine hand, and cause all the nations, to whome I sende thee, to drinke it.

۱۵ زانرو که یهوه خدای اسرائیل به من چنین گفت که «کاسه شراب این غضب را از دست من بگیر و آن را به جمیع امت هایی که تو را نزد آنهامی فرستم بنوشان.

16 And they shall drinke, and be moued and be mad, because of the sworde that I will sende among them.

۱۶ تا بیاشامند و به‌سبب شمشیری که من در میان ایشان می‌فرستم نوان شوند و دیوانه گردند.»

17 Then tooke I the cup at the Lordes hand, and made all people to drinke, vnto whome the Lord had sent me:

۱۷ پس کاسه را از دست خداوند گرفتم و به جمیع امت هایی که خداوند مرا نزد آنها فرستادنوشانیدم.

18 Euen Ierusalem, and the cities of Iudah, and the Kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them desolate, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse, as appeareth this day:

۱۸ یعنی به اورشلیم و شهرهای یهوداو پادشاهانش و سرورانش تا آنها را خرابی ودهشت و سخریه و لعنت چنانکه امروز شده است گردانم.

19 Pharaoh also, King of Egypt, and his seruants, and his princes, and all his people:

۱۹ و به فرعون پادشاه مصر وبندگانش و سرورانش و تمامی قومش.

20 And all sortes of people, and all the Kings of the lande of Vz: and all the Kings of the lande of the Philistims, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod:

۲۰ و به جمیع امت های مختلف و به جمیع پادشاهان زمین عوص و به همه پادشاهان زمین فلسطینیان یعنی اشقلون و غزه و عقرون و بقیه اشدود.

21 Edom, and Moab, and the Ammonites,

۲۱ وبه ادوم و موآب و بنی عمون.

22 And all the Kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the Kings of the Yles, that are beyonde the Sea,

۲۲ و به جمیع پادشاهان صور و همه پادشاهان صیدون و به پادشاهان جزایری که به آن طرف دریا می‌باشند.

23 And Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that dwell in the vttermost corners,

۲۳ و به ددان و تیما و بوز و به همگانی که گوشه های موی خود را می‌تراشند.

24 And all the Kings of Arabia, and all the Kings of Arabia, that dwell in the desert,

۲۴ و به همه پادشاهان عرب و به جمیع پادشاهان امت های مختلف که در بیابان ساکنند.

25 And all the Kings of Zimri, and all the Kings of Elam, and all the Kings of the Medes,

۲۵ و به جمیع پادشاهان زمری و همه پادشاهان عیلام و همه پادشاهان مادی.

26 And all the Kings of the North, farre and neere one to another, and all the kingdomes of the worlde, which are vpon the earth, and the king of Sheshach shall drinke after them.

۲۶ و به جمیع پادشاهان شمال خواه قریب و خواه بعید هر یک با مجاور خود وبه تمامی ممالک جهان که بر روی زمینند. وپادشاه شیشک بعد از ایشان خواهد آشامید.

27 Therefore say thou vnto them, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Drinke and bee drunken, and spewe and fall, and rise no more, because of the sworde, which I will sende among you.

۲۷ و به ایشان بگو: یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌فرماید: «بنوشید و مست شویدو قی کنید تا از شمشیری که من در میان شمامی فرستم بیفتید و برنخیزید.

28 But if they refuse to take the cuppe at thine hande to drinke, then tell them, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Ye shall certainely drinke.

۲۸ و اگر از گرفتن کاسه از دست تو و نوشیدنش ابا نمایند آنگاه به ایشان بگو: یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید: البته خواهید نوشید.

29 For loe, I beginne to plague the citie, where my Name is called vpon, and shoulde you goe free? Ye shall not goe quite: for I will call for a sword vpon al the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hostes.

۲۹ زیرا اینک من به رسانیدن بلا براین شهری که به اسم من مسمی است شروع خواهم نمود و آیا شما بالکل بی‌عقوبت خواهیدماند؟ بی‌عقوبت نخواهید ماند زیرا یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید که من شمشیری بر جمیع ساکنان جهان مامور می‌کنم.

30 Therefore prophecie thou against them al these words, and say vnto them, The Lord shall roare from aboue, and thrust out his voyce from his holy habitation: he shall roare vpon his habitation, and crie aloude, as they that presse the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

۳۰ پس تو به تمامی این سخنان برایشان نبوت کرده، به ایشان بگو: خداوند از اعلی علیین غرش می‌نماید و از مکان قدس خویش آواز خود را می‌دهد و به ضد مرتع خویش به شدت غرش می‌نماید و مثل آنانی که انگور رامی افشرند، بر تمامی ساکنان جهان نعره می‌زند،

31 The sounde shall come to the endes of the earth: for the Lord hath a controuersie with the nations, and will enter into iudgement with all flesh, and he will giue them that are wicked, to the sworde, saith the Lord.

۳۱ و صدا به کرانهای زمین خواهد رسید زیراخداوند را با امت‌ها دعوی است و او بر هرذی جسد داوری خواهد نمود و شریران را به شمشیر تسلیم خواهد کرد.» قول خداوند این است.

32 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Behold, a plague shall goe foorth from nation to nation, and a great whirlewinde shalbe raised vp from the coastes of the earth,

۳۲ یهوه صبایوت چنین گفت: «اینک بلا ازامت به امت سرایت می‌کند و باد شدید عظیمی ازکرانهای زمین برانگیخته خواهد شد.»

33 And the slaine of the Lord shall be at that day, from one ende of the earth, euen vnto the other ende of the earth: they shall not bee mourned, neither gathered nor buried, but shalbe as the dongue vpon the grounde.

۳۳ و در آن روز کشتگان خداوند از کران زمین تا کران دیگرش خواهند بود. برای ایشان ماتم نخواهندگرفت و ایشان را جمع نخواهند کرد و دفن نخواهند نمود بلکه بر روی زمین سرگین خواهندبود.

34 Howle, ye shepherdes, and crie, and wallowe your selues in the ashes, ye principall of the flocke: for your dayes of slaughter are accomplished, and of your dispersion, and ye shall fall like precious vessels.

۳۴ ‌ای شبانان ولوله نمایید و فریاد برآورید. وای روسای گله بغلطید زیرا که ایام کشته شدن شما رسیده است و من شما را پراکنده خواهم ساخت و مثل ظرف مرغوب خواهید افتاد.

35 And the flight shall faile from the shepherdes, and the escaping from the principall of the flocke.

۳۵ وملجا برای شبانان و مفر برای روسای گله نخواهدبود.

36 A voyce of the crye of the shepherdes, and an howling of the principall of the flocke shalbe heard: for the Lord hath destroyed their pasture.

۳۶ هین فریاد شبانان و نعره روسای گله! زیراخداوند مرتعهای ایشان را ویران ساخته است.

37 And the best pastures are destroyed because of the wrath and indignation of the Lord.

۳۷ و مرتعهای سلامتی به‌سبب حدت خشم خداوند خراب شده است.

38 He hath forsaken his couert, as the lyon: for their land is waste, because of the wrath of the oppressor, and because of ye wrath of his indignatio.

۳۸ مثل شیر بیشه خودرا ترک کرده است زیرا که زمین ایشان به‌سبب خشم هلاک کننده و به‌سبب حدت غضبش ویران شده است.
