< Jeremiah 19 >

1 Thus sayth the Lord, Goe, and buy an earthen bottel of a potter, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the Priests,
thus to say LORD to go: went and to buy flask to form: potter earthenware and from old: elder [the] people and from old: elder [the] priest
2 And goe forth vnto the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrie of the East gate: and thou shalt preache there the wordes, that I shall tell thee,
and to come out: come to(wards) valley son: child (Topheth of son of) Hinnom which entrance gate ([the] Potsherd (Gate) *Q(k)*) and to call: call out there [obj] [the] word which to speak: speak to(wards) you
3 And shalt say, Heare yee the worde of the Lord, O Kings of Iudah, and inhabitantes of Ierusalem, Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring a plague vpon this place, the which whosoeuer heareth, his eares shall tingle.
and to say to hear: hear word LORD king Judah and to dwell Jerusalem thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I to come (in): bring distress: harm upon [the] place [the] this which all to hear: hear her to tingle ear his
4 Because they haue forsaken me, and prophaned this place, and haue burnt incense in it vnto other gods, whome neyther they, nor their fathers haue knowen, nor the Kings of Iudah (they haue filled this place also with the blood of innocents,
because which to leave: forsake me and to alienate [obj] [the] place [the] this and to offer: offer in/on/with him to/for God another which not to know them they(masc.) and father their and king Judah and to fill [obj] [the] place [the] this blood innocent
5 And they haue built the hie places of Baal, to burne their sonnes with fire for burnt offrings vnto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my minde)
and to build [obj] high place [the] Baal to/for to burn [obj] son: child their in/on/with fire burnt offering to/for Baal which not to command and not to speak: speak and not to ascend: rise upon heart my
6 Therefore behold, the dayes come, sayth the Lord, that this place shall no more be called Topheth, nor ye valley of Ben-hinnom, but the valley of slaughter.
to/for so behold day to come (in): come utterance LORD and not to call: call by to/for place [the] this still [the] Topheth and valley son: child (Topheth of son of) Hinnom that if: except if: except valley [the] (Topheth of) Slaughter
7 And I will bring the counsell of Iudah and Ierusalem to nought in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of them that seeke their liues: and their carkeises will I giue to be meate for ye foules of the heauen, and to the beastes of the fielde.
and to empty [obj] counsel Judah and Jerusalem in/on/with place [the] this and to fall: kill them in/on/with sword to/for face: before enemy their and in/on/with hand: power to seek soul: life their and to give: give [obj] carcass their to/for food to/for bird [the] heaven and to/for animal [the] land: soil
8 And I will make this citie desolate and an hissing, so that euery one that passeth thereby, shalbe astonished and hisse because of all ye plagues thereof.
and to set: make [obj] [the] city [the] this to/for horror: appalled and to/for hissing all to pass upon her be desolate: appalled and to whistle upon all wound her
9 And I will feede the with the flesh of their sonnes and with the flesh of their daughters, and euery one shall eate the flesh of his friende in the siege and straitnesse, wherewith their enemies that seeke their liues, shall hold them strait.
and to eat them [obj] flesh son: child their and [obj] flesh daughter their and man: anyone flesh neighbor his to eat in/on/with siege and in/on/with distress which to press to/for them enemy their and to seek soul: life their
10 Then shalt thou breake the bottell in the sight of the men that go with thee,
and to break [the] flask to/for eye: seeing [the] human [the] to go: went with you
11 And shalt say vnto them, Thus saith ye Lord of hostes, Euen so will I breake this people and this citie, as one breaketh a potters vessell, that cannot be made whole againe, and they shall bury them in Topheth till there be no place to bury.
and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD Hosts thus to break [obj] [the] people [the] this and [obj] [the] city [the] this like/as as which to break [obj] article/utensil [the] to form: potter which not be able to/for to heal still and in/on/with Topheth to bury from nothing place to/for to bury
12 Thus will I doe vnto this place, sayth the Lord, and to the inhabitantes thereof, and I will make this citie like Topheth.
so to make: do to/for place [the] this utterance LORD and to/for to dwell his and to/for to give: make [obj] [the] city [the] this like/as Topheth
13 For the houses of Ierusalem, and the houses of the Kings of Iudah shalbe defiled as the place of Topheth, because of al the houses vpon whose roofes they haue burnt incense vnto all the host of heauen, and haue powred out drinke offerings vnto other gods.
and to be house: home Jerusalem and house: home king Judah like/as place [the] Topheth [the] unclean to/for all [the] house: home which to offer: offer upon roof their to/for all army [the] heaven and to pour drink offering to/for God another
14 Then came Ieremiah from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophecie, and he stood in the court of the Lordes house, and sayde to all the people,
and to come (in): come Jeremiah from [the] Topheth which to send: depart him LORD there to/for to prophesy and to stand: stand in/on/with court house: temple LORD and to say to(wards) all [the] people
15 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Beholde, I will bring vpon this citie, and vpon all her townes, all the plagues that I haue pronounced against it, because they haue hardened their neckes, and would not heare my wordes.
thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I (to come (in): bring *Q(k)*) to(wards) [the] city [the] this and upon all city her [obj] all [the] distress: harm which to speak: promise upon her for to harden [obj] neck their to/for lest to hear: hear [obj] word my
