< Jeremiah 11 >

1 The worde that came to Ieremiah from the Lord, saying,
Izao no teny tonga tamin’ i Jeremia avy tamin’ i Jehovah:
2 Heare ye the wordes of this couenant, and speake vnto the men of Iudah, and to the inhabitants of Ierusalem,
Mihainoa ny tenin’ izao fanekena izao ianareo, ary mitenena amin’ ny Joda sy amin’ ny mponina any Jerosalema,
3 And say thou vnto them, Thus sayeth the Lord God of Israel, Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the wordes of this couenant,
Ary ataovy aminy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely: ho voaozona izay olona tsy mankatò ny tenin’ izao fanekena izao,
4 Which I commanded vnto your fathers, when I brought them out of the lande of Egypt, from the yron fornace, saying, Obey my voyce, and doe according to all these things, which I commande you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God,
Izay nandidiako ny razanareo tamin’ ny andro nitondrako azy nivoaka avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta, dia avy tao amin’ ny memy fandrendreham-by, ka nanaovako hoe: Mihainoa ny feoko, ary mankatoava ireny araka izay rehetra andidiako anareo, dia ho oloko ianareo, ary Izaho kosa ho Andriamanitrareo,
5 That I may confirme the othe, that I haue sworne vnto your fathers, to giue them a lande, which floweth with milke and hony, as appeareth this day. Then answered I and sayde, So be it, O Lord.
Mba hotoviko ny fianianana izay nianianako tamin’ ny razanareo, dia ny hanomezana azy tany tondra-dronono sy tantely tahaka ny amin’ izao anio izao. Dia namaly aho ka nanao hoe: Ho izany tokoa anie, Jehovah ô!
6 Then the Lord saide vnto me, Cry all these words in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, saying, Heare yee the words of this couenant, and doe them.
Ary hoy Jehovah tamiko: Torio any an-tanànan’ ny Joda sy any an-dalamben’ i Jerosalema Izany teny rehetra izany, ka lazao hoe: Henoy ny tenin’ izao fanekena izao, ka ankatoavy izy.
7 For I haue protested vnto your fathers, whe I brought them vp out of the land of Egypt vnto this day, rising earely and protesting, saying, Obey my voyce.
Fa nananatra mafy ny razanareo Aho tamin’ ny andro nitondrako azy nivoaka avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta ka ambaraka androany; Eny, nifoha maraina koa Aho ka nananatra hoe: Mihainoa ny feoko.
8 Neuerthelesse they would not obey, nor encline their eare: but euery one walked in the stubbernesse of his wicked heart: therefore I will bring vpon them all the wordes of this couenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did it not.
Nefa tsy nihaino izy na nanongilana ny sofiny, fa samy nandeha tamin’ ny ditry ny fo ratsiny ihany izy; Ka dia nataoko mihatra aminy ny teny rehetra amin’ izao fanekena izao, ilay nasaiko nataony, nefa tsy nataony.
9 And the Lord sayd vnto me, A conspiracie is found among the men of Iudah, and among the inhabitants of Ierusalem.
Ary hoy koa Jehovah tamiko: Misy tetika fikomiana hita ao amin’ ny Joda sy amin’ ny mponina any Jerosalema.
10 They are turned backe to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to heare my wordes: and they went after other gods to serue them: thus the house of Israel, and the house of Iudah haue broken my couenant, which I made with their fathers.
Fa izy niverina nankamin’ ny heloky ny razany, izay tsy nety nihaino ny teniko, ary lasa nanaraka andriamani-kafa izy ka nanompo azy; Ny taranak’ Isiraely sy ny taranak’ i Joda efa nivadika ny fanekeko, izay nataoko tamin’ ny razany.
11 Therefore thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, I will bring a plague vpon them, which they shall not be able to escape, and though they crye vnto me, I will not heare them.
Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Indro, Izaho hahatonga loza aminy, izay tsy azony handosirana; Ary na dia hitaraina amiko aza izy, dia tsy hihaino azy Aho.
12 Then shall the cities of Iudah, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem goe, and crie vnto the gods vnto whome they offer incense, but they shall not bee able to helpe them in time of their trouble.
Dia handeha ny tanànan’ ny Joda sy ny mponina any Jerosalema ka hitaraina amin’ ireny andriamaniny, izay efa nandoroany ditin-kazo manitra; Nefa ireny tsy hahavonjy azy akory amin’ ny andro fahoriany.
13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Iudah, and according to the number of the streetes of Ierusalem haue yee set vp altars of confusion, euen altars to burne incense vnto Baal.
Fa araka ny isan’ ny tanànanao, ry Joda, no isan’ ny andriamanitrao, Ary araka ny isan’ ny lalamben’ i Jerosalema no isan’ ny alitara naorinareo ho an’ ilay mampahamenatra. Dia alitara handoroana ditin-kazo manitra ho an’ i Bala.
14 Therfore thou shalt not pray for this people, neither lift vp a crie, or prayer for them: for when they cry vnto mee in their trouble, I will not heare them.
Koa aza mivavaka ho an’ ity firenena ity ianao, ary aza manandratra fitarainana na fifonana ho azy; Fa amin’ ny andro izay hitarainany amiko noho ny fahoriany dia tsy hihaino azy Aho.
15 What shoulde my beloued tarie in mine house, seeing they haue committed abomination with manie? and the holy flesh goeth away from thee: yet when thou doest euill, thou reioycest.
Hanao inona ao an-tranoko ny malalako fa efa namoron-tsain-dratsy niaraka tamin’ ny maro izy, ary ny hena masìna dia esorina aminao; Raha azon-doza ianao, mifalia ary!
16 The Lord called thy name, A greene oliue tree, faire, and of goodly fruite: but with noyse and great tumult he hath set fyre vpon it, and the branches of it are broken.
Hazo oliva maitso sady misy voany maha-te-hizaha no nataon’ i Jehovah anaranao; Tamin’ ny fihorakorahana be no nandrehetany afo taminy, ary notapahina ny rantsany.
17 For the Lord of hostes that planted thee, hath pronounced a plague against thee, for the wickednes of the house of Israel, and of the house of Iudah, which they haue done against themselues to prouoke me to anger in offering incense vnto Baal.
Fa Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Izay namboly anao, no nanambara ny loza hanjo anao, noho ny ratsy nataon’ ny taranak’ Isiraely sy ny taranak’ i Joda, Izay nahavoa ny tenany ka nahatezitra Ahy. Dia tamin’ ny nandoroany ditin-kazo manitra ho an’ i Bala.
18 And the Lord hath taught me, and I knowe it, euen then thou shewedst mee their practises.
Ary nampahafantarin’ i Jehovah aho, ka dia nahalala; Tamin’ izany dia nasehonao ahy ny fanaony.
19 But I was like a lambe, or a bullocke, that is brought to the slaughter, and I knewe not that they had deuised thus against me, saying, Let vs destroy the tree with the fruite thereof, and cut him out of the lande of the liuing, that his name may be no more in memory.
Fa izaho dia tahaka ny zanak’ ondry bonaika, izay entina hovonoina; Ary tsy fantatro fa izao no tetika nataony namelezany ahy: Aoka hosimbantsika ny hazo mbamin’ ny voany, ary aoka hofongorantsika hiala amin’ ny tanin’ ny velona izy, mba tsy hotsarovana intsony ny anarany.
20 But O Lord of hostes, that iudgest righteously, and triest the reines and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for vnto thee haue I opened my cause.
Nefa, ry Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro ô, Izay mitsara marina ka mamantatra ny voa sy ny fo aoka ho hitako ny famalianao azy; Fa aminao no efa nanankinako ny adiko.
21 The Lord therefore speaketh thus of the men of Anathoth, (that seeke thy life, and say, Prophecie not in the Name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hands)
Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah ny amin’ ny mponina ao Anatota, izay mitady ny ainao ka manao hoe: Aza maminany amin’ ny anaran’ i Jehovah, fandrao matin’ ny tananay ianao,
22 Thus therefore sayth the Lord of hostes, Beholde, I will visite them: the yong men shall die by the sword: their sonnes and their daughters shall die by famine,
izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro: Indro, hovaliako Izy, ka ny zatovo ho fatin-tsabatra, ary ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy ho fati-mosary;
23 And none of them shall remaine: for I will bring a plague vpon the men of Anathoth, euen the yeere of their visitation.
Ka tsy hisy hiangana izy; Fa hahatonga loza amin’ ny mponina ao Anatota Aho amin’ ny taona hamaliana azy.
