Isaiah 7
1 And in the dayes of Ahaz, the sonne of Iotham, the sonne of Vzziah king of Iudah, Rezin the King of Aram came vp, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, to Ierusalem to fight against it, but he could not ouercome it.
Ary tamin’ ny andron’ i Ahaza, zanak’ i Jotama, zanak’ i Ozia, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, no niakaran-dRezina, mpanjakan’ i Syria, sy Pelza, zanak’ i Remalia, mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, hanafika an’ i Jerosalema, nefa tsy nahafaka azy izy.
2 And it was tolde the house of Dauid, saying, Aram is ioyned with Ephraim: therefore his heart was moued, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest are moued by the winde.
Dia nambara tamin’ ny taranak’ i Davida hoe: Injao ny Syriana efa mitoby any amin’ ny Efraima. Ary nirondrona ny fony sy ny fon’ ny vahoakany toy ny firondronan’ ny hazo any an’ ala, raha asian’ ny rivotra.
3 Then sayde the Lord vnto Isaiah, Goe foorth nowe to meete Ahaz (thou and Sheariashub thy sonne) at the ende of the conduit of the vpper poole, in the path of the fullers fielde,
Ary hoy Jehovah tamin’ Isaia: Mivoaha ianao sy Seara-jasoba zanakao hitsena an’ i Ahaza eo amin’ ny faran’ ny lakan-drano amin’ ny kamory ambony, eo amin’ ny lalambe mankamin’ ny sahan’ ny mpamotsy lamba,
4 And say vnto him, Take heede, and be still: feare not, neither be faint hearted for the two tailes of these smoking firebrands, for the furious wrath of Rezin and of Aram, and of Remaliahs sonne:
ka lazao aminy hoe: Mitandrema, ka aza taitaitra foana; Aza matahotra, ary aoka tsy ho ketraka ny fonao Noho ireto tapa-porohana roa midonaka ireto, Dia ny firehetan’ ny fahatezeran-dRezina sy Syria ary ny zanak’ i Remalia.
5 Because Aram hath taken wicked counsell against thee, and Ephraim, and Remaliahs sonne, saying,
Satria efa nanao saina hampidi-doza aminao Syria sy Efraima ary ny zanak’ i Remalia ka nanao hoe:
6 Let vs goe vp against Iudah, and let vs waken them vp, and make a breach therein for vs, and set a King in the mids thereof, euen the sonne of Tabeal.
Andeha isika hananika an’ i Joda ka hampaharaiki-tahotra azy Ary hanafaka azy ho antsika ka hanangana ny zanak’ i Tabeala ho mpanjaka ao afovoany,
7 Thus sayth the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it be.
Dia izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Tsy ho tanteraka izany, Ary tsy hisy izany;
8 For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin: and within fiue and threescore yeere, Ephraim shalbe destroyed from being a people.
Fa ny lohan’ i Syria dia Damaskosy, Ary ny lohan’ i Damaskosy dia Rezina (Ary ao anatin’ ny dimy amby enim-polo taona dia ho rava ny Efraima ka tsy ho vanon-ko firenena intsony),
9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliahs sonne. If ye beleeue not, surely ye shall not be established.
Ary ny lohan’ i Efraima dia Samaria, Ary ny lohan’ i Samaria dia ny zanak’ i Remalia. Raha tsy mety mino ianareo, Dia tsy ho tafatoetra.
10 And the Lord spake againe vnto Ahaz, saying,
Ary Jehovah mbola niteny tamin’ i Ahaza ihany ka nanao hoe:
11 Aske a signe for thee of the Lord thy God: aske it, either in the depth beneath or in the height aboue. (Sheol h7585)
Mangataha famantarana amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao; eny, mangataha na ho avy amin’ ny lalina ambany, na ho avy amin’ ny avo ambony. (Sheol h7585)
12 But Ahaz sayd, I wil not aske, neither will I tempt the Lord.
Fa hoy Ahaza: Tsy hangataka aho, fa tsy haka fanahy an’ i Jehovah
13 Then he sayd, Heare you nowe, O house of Dauid, Is it a small thing for you to grieue men, that ye will also grieue my God?
Dia hoy Isaia: Mihainoa ary, ny taranak’ i Davida: Ataonareo ho zavatra kely foana moa ny hanasatra ny olona, No dia hanasatra an’ Andriamanitro koa ianareo?
14 Therefore the Lord himselfe will giue you a signe. Beholde, the virgine shall conceiue and beare a sonne, and she shall call his name Immanu-el.
Ary noho izany dia ny Tompo no hanome famantarana ho anareo: Indro, hanan’ anaka ny virijina ka hiteraka zazalahy, ary ny anarany hataony hoe Imanoela.
15 Butter and hony shall he eate, till he haue knowledge to refuse the euill, and to chuse the good.
Rehefa mahalala handà ny ratsy sy hifidy ny tsara izy, Dia rononomandry sy tantely no ho fihinany.
16 For afore the childe shall haue knowledge to eschew the euill, and to chuse the good, the land, that thou abhorrest, shalbe forsaken of both her Kings.
Fa raha tsy mbola mahalala handà ny ratsy sy hifidy ny tsara izany zaza izany, Dia ho lao ny tanin’ ireo mpanjaka roa maharaiki-tahotra anao ireo.
17 The Lord shall bring vpon thee, and vpon thy people, and vpon thy fathers house (the dayes that haue not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Iudah) euen the King of Asshur.
Jehovah hahatonga aminao sy ny olonao ary ny mpianakavin-drainao Izay andro tsy mbola nisy toa azy Hatramin’ ny andro nialan’ i Efraima tamin’ ny Joda (Dia ny mpanjakan’ i Asyria);
18 And in that day shall the Lord hisse for the flie that is at the vttermost part of the floods of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the lande of Asshur,
Ary amin’ izany andro izany Jehovah hisiaka hiantso ny lalitra, izay any amin’ ny faran’ ny onin’ i Egypta, sy ny renitantely, izay any amin’ ny tany Asyria;
19 And they shall come and shall light all in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rockes, and vpon all thorny places, and vpon all bushy places.
Dia ho avy ireo, ka samy hipetraka amin’ ny lohasaha lao, sy eny an-tsefatsefaky ny harambato, sy eny amin’ ny fefy tsilo rehetra, ary eny amin’ ny saha fiandrasana rehetra.
20 In that day shall the Lord shaue with a rasor that is hired, euen by them beyond the Riuer, by the King of Asshur, the head and the heare of the feete, and it shall consume the beard.
Amin’ izany andro izany koa ny Tompo hanaratra ny loha sy ny volon-tongotra Amin’ ny hareza nohofana any amoron’ ny Ony (Dia ny mpanjakan’ i Asyria); Ary ny volom-bava hokakasana amin’ iny koa.
21 And in the same day shall a man nourish a yong kow, and two sheepe.
Ary amin’ izany andro izany Dia samy hiompy ombivavy kely sy ondry roa ny olona;
22 And for the abundance of milke, that they shall giue, hee shall eate butter: for butter and hony shall euery one eate, which is left within the land.
Ary noho ny haben’ ny ronono azo avy amin’ ireo dia hihinana rononomandry izy; Fa rononomandry sy tantely no ho fihinan’ ny olona sisa rehetra ao amin’ ny tany.
23 And at the same day euery place, wherein shalbe a thousand vines, shalbe at a thousand pieces of siluer: so it shalbe for the briers and for the thornes.
Ary amin’ Izany andro izany dia ho rakotry ny hery sy ny tsilo Ny tany rehetra izay nisy voaloboka arivo nahazo sekely arivo.
24 With arrowes and with bowe shall one come thither: because all the land shall be briers and thornes.
Zana-tsipìka sy tsipìka no ho entin’ izay miditra ao, satria rakotry ny hery sy ny tsilo ny tany rehetra.
25 But on all the mountaines, which shalbe digged with the mattocke, there shall not come thither the feare of briers and thornes: but they shalbe for the sending out of bullocks, and for the treading of sheepe.
Ary ny tanety rehetra izay nohevoina tamin’ ny angady dia tsy ho azonao diavina noho ny fahatahorana ny hery sy ny tsilo; Fa ho falehan’ ny omby sy ho voahitsakitsaky ny ondry aman’ osy izany.
