Isaiah 66
1 Thus saith the Lord, The heauen is my throne, and the earth is my footestoole: where is that house that ye will builde vnto me? and where is that place of my rest?
So spricht der HERR: Der Himmel ist mein Thron und die Erde meiner Füße Schemel! Was für ein Haus wollt ihr mir denn bauen? Oder wo ist der Ort, da ich ruhen soll?
2 For all these things hath mine hand made, and all these things haue bene, sayth the Lord: and to him will I looke, euen to him, that is poore, and of a contrite spirite and trembleth at my wordes.
Hat doch meine Hand das alles gemacht, und so ist dies alles geworden, spricht der HERR. Ich will aber den ansehen, der gebeugten und niedergeschlagenen Geistes ist und der zittert ob meinem Wort.
3 He that killeth a bullocke, is as if he slewe a man: he that sacrificeth a sheepe, as if he cut off a dogges necke: he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swines blood: he that remembreth incense, as if he blessed an idole: yea, they haue chosen their owne wayes, and their soule deliteth in their abominations.
Wer einen Ochsen schächtet [ist wie einer], der einen Menschen erschlägt; wer ein Schaf opfert [ist wie einer], der einen Hund erwürgt; wer Speisopfer darbringt [ist wie einer], der Schweineblut [opfert]; wer Weihrauch anzündet [ist wie einer], der einen Götzen verehrt, sie alle erwählen ihre eigenen Wege, und ihre Seele hat Wohlgefallen an ihren Greueln.
4 Therefore will I chuse out their delusions, and I will bring their feare vpon them, because I called, and none woulde answere: I spake and they woulde not heare: but they did euill in my sight, and chose the things which I would not.
Darum will auch ich erwählen, was sie verabscheuen, und über sie bringen, was sie fürchten; denn als ich rief, gab mir niemand Antwort; als ich redete, wollten sie nicht hören, sondern taten, was in meinen Augen böse ist, und erwählten, was mir nicht gefiel!
5 Heare the worde of the Lord, all ye that tremble at his worde, Your brethren that hated you, and cast you out for my Names sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appeare to your ioy, and they shall be ashamed.
Höret das Wort des HERRN, ihr, die ihr vor seinem Wort erzittert: Es höhnen eure Brüder, die euch hassen und euch verstoßen um meines Namens willen: «Wird der HERR bald zu Ehren kommen, daß wir eure Freude sehen?» Aber sie werden sich schämen müssen!
6 A voyce soundeth from the citie, euen a voyce from the Temple, the voyce of the Lord, that recompenseth his enemies fully.
Eine Stimme des Getümmels erschallt von der Stadt her, eine Stimme vom Tempel! Das ist die Stimme des HERRN, der seinen Feinden bezahlt, was sie verdienen!
7 Before she trauailed, she brought foorth: and before her paine came, she was deliuered of a man childe.
Ehe sie Wehen empfand, hat sie geboren; bevor die Kindesnot sie ankam, ist sie eines Knaben genesen!
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seene such things? shall ye earth be brought forth in one day? or shall a nation be borne at once? for assoone as Zion trauailed, she brought foorth her children.
Wer hat je so etwas gehört? Wer hat dergleichen gesehen? Ward je ein Land an einem Tage zur Welt gebracht? Ist je ein Volk auf einmal geboren worden, wie Zion in Wehen gekommen ist und zugleich ihre Kinder geboren hat?
9 Shall I cause to trauaile, and not bring forth? shall I cause to bring forth, and shall be baren, saith thy God?
Sollte ich bis zur Geburt bringen und doch nicht gebären lassen? spricht der HERR; sollte ich, der ich gebären lasse, die Geburt verhindern? spricht dein Gott.
10 Reioyce ye with Ierusalem, and be gladde with her, all ye that loue her: reioyce for ioy with her, all ye that mourne for her,
Freuet euch mit Jerusalem und frohlocket über sie, ihr alle, die ihr sie liebet; teilet nun auch ihre Freude mit ihr, ihr alle, die ihr euch um sie betrübt habt,
11 That ye may sucke and be satisfied with the brestes of her consolation: that ye may milke out and be delited with ye brightnes of her glorie.
indem ihr euch satt trinket an ihrer tröstenden Brust, indem ihr euch in vollen Zügen erlabet an der Fülle ihrer Herrlichkeit!
12 For thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will extend peace ouer her like a flood, and the glorie of the Gentiles like a flowing streame: then shall ye sucke, ye shall be borne vpon her sides, and be ioyfull vpon her knees.
Denn also spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will den Frieden zu ihr hinleiten wie einen Strom und die Herrlichkeit der Heiden wie einen überfließenden Bach; und ihr sollt gestillt werden. Man wird euch auf den Armen tragen und auf den Knien liebkosen.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Ierusalem.
Wie nur eine Mutter trösten kann, so will ich euch trösten; ja, ihr sollt in Jerusalem getröstet werden!
14 And when ye see this, your hearts shall reioyce, and your bones shall flourish like an herbe: and the hand of the Lord shall be knowen among his seruants, and his indignation against his enemies.
Und wenn ihr solches sehet, wird euer Herz sich freuen, und eure Gebeine werden sprossen wie grünes Gras. Also wird die Hand des HERRN erkannt werden an seinen Knechten, sein Zorn aber an seinen Feinden.
15 For beholde, the Lord will come with fire, and his charets like a whirlewinde, that he may recompence his anger with wrath, and his indignation with the flame of fire.
Denn siehe, der HERR wird im Feuer kommen und seine Wagen wie der Sturmwind, daß er seinen Zorn in Glut verwandle und seine Drohungen in Feuerflammen.
16 For the Lord will iudge with fire, and with his sworde all flesh, and the slaine of the Lord shall be many.
Denn mit Feuer wird der HERR richten und mit seinem Schwert alles Fleisch; und der vom HERRN Erschlagenen wird eine große Menge sein.
17 They that sanctifie themselues, and purifie themselues in the gardens behinde one tree in the middes eating swines flesh, and such abomination, euen the mouse, shall be consumed together, sayeth the Lord.
Die sich heiligen und reinigen für die Gärten, hinter einem andern her, inmitten derer, welche Schweinefleisch, Mäuse und andere Greuel essen, allzumal sollen sie weggerafft werden, spricht der HERR.
18 For I will visite their workes, and their imaginations: for it shall come that I will gather all nations, and tongues, and they shall come, and see my glorie.
Wenn aber ihre Werke und Pläne zustande gekommen sind und ich alle Nationen und Zungen zusammenbringen werde, so sollen sie kommen und meine Herrlichkeit sehen.
19 And I will set a signe among them, and will send those that escape of them, vnto the nations of Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, and to them that drawe the bowe, to Tubal and Tauan, yles afarre off, that haue not heard my fame, neither haue seene my glorie, and they shall declare my glorie among the Gentiles.
Und ich will ein Zeichen an ihnen tun und aus ihrer Mitte Gerettete entsenden zu den Heiden nach Tarsis, Phul und Lud, zu den Bogenschützen gen Tubal und Javan, nach den fernen Inseln, die noch keine Kunde von mir erhalten und meine Herrlichkeit nicht gesehen haben; sie sollen meine Herrlichkeit unter den Heiden verkündigen.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering vnto the Lord out of all nations, vpon horses, and in charets, and in horse litters, and vpon mules, and swift beastes, to Ierusalem mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel, offer in a cleane vessell in the House of the Lord.
Und sie werden alle eure Brüder aus allen Nationen dem HERRN zur Gabe herbeibringen auf Pferden und auf Wagen und in Sänften, auf Maultieren und Dromedaren, zu meinem heiligen Berg, gen Jerusalem, spricht der HERR, gleichwie die Kinder Israel das Speisopfer in reinem Gefäß zum Hause des HERRN bringen.
21 And I will take of them for Priestes, and for Leuites, saith the Lord.
Und ich werde auch von ihnen welche zu Priestern und Leviten nehmen, spricht der HERR.
22 For as the newe heauens, and the newe earth which I will make, shall remaine before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seede and your name continue.
Denn gleichwie der neue Himmel und die neue Erde, die ich mache, vor meinem Angesicht bleiben werden, spricht der HERR, so soll auch euer Same und euer Name bestehen bleiben.
23 And from moneth to moneth, and from Sabbath to Sabbath shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
Und es wird dahin kommen, daß an jedem Neumond und an jedem Sabbat alles Fleisch sich einfinden wird, um vor mir anzubeten, spricht der HERR.
24 And they shall goe forth, and looke vpon the carkases of the men that haue transgressed against me: for their worme shall not dye, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shalbe an abhorring vnto all flesh.
Und man wird hinausgehen und die Leichname der Leute anschauen, die von mir abgefallen sind; denn ihr Wurm wird nicht sterben und ihr Feuer nicht erlöschen; und sie werden ein Abscheu sein für alles Fleisch.
