< Isaiah 65 >
1 I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
“ʻOku kumi kiate au ʻakinautolu naʻe ʻikai te nau fehuʻi kiate au; kuo ʻilo au ʻekinautolu naʻe ʻikai kumi kiate au: naʻaku pehē, ‘Vakai kiate au, vakai kiate au,’ ki he puleʻanga naʻe ʻikai ke ui ʻaki hoku huafa.
2 I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
Kuo u mafao atu hoku nima ʻi he ʻaho kotoa ki he kakai angatuʻu, ʻaia ʻoku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he hala ʻoku ʻikai lelei, ʻo hangē ko ʻenau ngaahi filioʻi:
3 A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
Ko e kakai ʻoku fakahouhau kiate au maʻuaipē ki hoku fofonga; ʻoku fai feilaulau ʻi he ngaahi ngoue, pea ʻoku tutu ʻae meʻa namu kakala ʻi he ngaahi ʻesi makaʻumea;
4 Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
ʻAkinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi he ngaahi tanuʻanga, pea ʻi he ngaahi fale māʻolunga, ʻoku kai ʻae kakano ʻoe puaka, pea ko e vaihū ʻoe ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ʻoku ʻi he ʻenau ngaahi ipu;
5 Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
ʻAkinautolu ʻoku pehē, ‘Tuʻu tokotaha pe koe, ʻoua ʻe haʻu ke ofi kiate au; he ʻoku ou māʻoniʻoni hake ʻiate koe.’ Ko e ʻohuafi ʻakinautolu ni ʻi hoku fofonga, ko e afi ʻoku ulo ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē.
6 Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
“Vakai, ʻoku tohi ʻi hoku ʻao: ʻE ʻikai te u fakalongo pe, ka te u totongi, ʻio, ʻe ai ʻae totongi ki honau fatafata.
7 Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Ko hoʻomou angahia, mo e angahala ʻa hoʻomou ngaahi tamai fakataha, ʻakinautolu kuo tutu ʻae meʻa namu kakala ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga, pea kape kiate au ʻi he ngaahi potu tafungofunga: ko ia te u fua ʻa ʻenau muʻaki ngāue ki honau fatafata.
8 Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻO hangē ʻoku ʻilo ʻae uaine foʻou ʻi he fuhi, pea ʻoku pehē ʻe ha taha, ‘ʻoua ʻe fakaʻauha ia; he ʻoku ʻi ai ha tāpuaki;’ te u fai pehē koeʻuhi ko ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻaku fakaʻauha ʻakinautolu kotoa pē.
9 But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
Pea te u ʻomi ha hako meia Sēkope, pea mei Siuta ha taha ke maʻu hoku ngaahi moʻunga: pea ʻe maʻu ia ʻe hoku kakai fili, pea ʻe nofo ai ʻa ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki.
10 And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻa Saloni ko e loto ʻā ʻae fanga sipi, pea ko e teleʻa ʻo ʻAkoli ko e tokotoʻanga ʻoe fanga manu, maʻa hoku kakai ʻaia kuo kumi kiate au.
11 But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
“Ka ko kimoutolu kuo mou liʻaki ʻa Sihova, kuo fakangalongaloʻi hoku moʻunga tapu, ʻoku mou teuteu ha keinangaʻanga maʻa Kata, pea ʻoku ʻatu ʻae feilaulau inu kia Meni.
12 Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
Ko ia te u lau ai ʻakimoutolu ki he heletā, pea te mou punou kotoa pē ki he tāmateʻi: koeʻuhi ʻi heʻeku ui, naʻe ʻikai te mou tali; ʻi heʻeku lea, naʻe ʻikai te mou fanongo; ka naʻa mou fai kovi ʻi hoku ʻao, mo fili ʻaia naʻe ʻikai te u fiemālie ai.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe he ʻOtua ko Sihova, “Vakai, ʻe kai ʻe heʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka te mou fiekaia: vakai, ʻe inu ʻe heʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka te mou fieinua: vakai, ʻe fiefia ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka e mā ʻakimoutolu.
14 Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
Vakai, ʻe hivehiva ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki koeʻuhi ko e fiefia ʻoe loto, ka te mou tangi koeʻuhi ko e mamahi ʻoe loto, pea ʻe tangilāulau ʻi he mamahi ʻoe laumālie.
15 And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
Pea te mou tuku homou hingoa ko e fakamamahi kiate kinautolu kuo u fili: koeʻuhi ʻe tāmateʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻe he ʻEiki ko Sihova, pea ui ʻene kau tamaioʻeiki ʻaki ha hingoa kehe:
16 He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
Koeʻuhi ko ia ʻoku ne tāpuaki ia ʻi he fonua te ne tāpuaki ia ʻi he ʻOtua ʻoe moʻoni; pea ko ia ʻoku fuakava ʻi he fonua te ne fuakava ʻi he ʻOtua ʻoe moʻoni; koeʻuhi kuo fakangalo ʻae ngaahi muʻaki mamahi, pea koeʻuhi kuo fakafufū ia mei hoku fofonga.
17 For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
“Vakai, he ʻoku ou fakatupu ʻae ngaahi langi foʻou pea mo e fonua foʻou: pea ʻe ʻikai manatu ʻaia naʻe ʻi muʻa, pe ai ha manatu loto ki ai.
18 But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
Ka ke fiefia ʻakimoutolu pea nekeneka ʻo taʻengata ʻi he meʻa ʻoku ou fakatupu: he vakai, ʻoku ou ngaohi ʻa Selūsalema ko e fiefiaʻanga, pea ke fiefia ʻa hono kakai.
19 And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
20 There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
“ʻE ʻikai toe ʻai ʻi ai ha tamasiʻi ʻoku moʻui fuonounou, pe ko ha tangata motuʻa ʻoku taʻekakato hono ngaahi ʻaho: he ko ia ʻe mate ʻi hono teau taʻu ʻe mate ko e tamasiʻi pe; pea ko e tangata angahala ʻoku mate ʻi hono teau taʻu ʻe malaʻia ia.
21 And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
Pea te nau langa ʻae ngaahi fale, pea nofo ai; pea te nau tō ʻae ngaahi vaine, pea kai ʻae fua ʻo ia.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
23 They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
ʻE ʻikai te nau ngāue taʻeʻaonga, pe fanauʻi ki he mamahi; he ko e hako ʻakinautolu kuo monūʻia ʻia Sihova, pea mo ʻenau fānau fakataha mo kinautolu.
24 Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi he teʻeki te nau ui, te u tali; pea ʻi he lolotonga ʻenau lea, te u ongoʻi.
25 The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻE kai fakataha ʻae ulofi mo e lami, pea ʻe kai ʻe he laione ʻae kau ʻoe koane ʻo hangē ko e pulu: pea ko e meʻakai ʻoe ngata ko e efu. ʻE ʻikai te nau fakamamahi pe fakaʻauha ʻi [ha potu ʻo ]hoku moʻunga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē.”
