Isaiah 65
1 I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
IO sono stato ricercato da quelli che non domandavano [di me], io sono stato trovato da quelli che non mi cercavano; io ho detto alla gente che non si chiamava del mio Nome: Eccomi, eccomi.
2 I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
Io ho stese tuttodì le mani ad un popolo ribello, il qual cammina per una via che non è buona, dietro a' suoi pensieri;
3 A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
[ad] un popolo, che del continuo mi dispetta in faccia, che sacrifica nei giardini, e fa profumi sopra i mattoni.
4 Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
Il qual dimora fra i sepolcri, e passa le notti ne' luoghi appartati; che mangia carne di porco, e [ne]'cui vaselli [vi è] del brodo di cose abbominevoli.
5 Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
Che dice: Fatti in là, non accostarti a me; perciocchè io son più santo di te. Tali [sono] un fumo al mio naso, un fuoco ardente tuttodì.
6 Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
Ecco, [tutto questo è] scritto nel mio cospetto; io non mi tacerò, ma [ne] farò la retribuzione; ne farò loro la retribuzione in seno.
7 Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
Le vostre iniquità, e l'iniquità de' vostri padri, che han fatti profumi sopra i monti, e mi hanno villaneggiato sopra i colli, [son] tutte insieme, ha detto il Signore; perciò, io misurerò loro in seno il pagamento di ciò che han fatto fin dal principio.
8 Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
Così ha detto il Signore: Siccome, quando si trova del mosto ne' grappoli, si dice: Non guastar la [vigna], perciocchè [vi è] della benedizione; così farò io per amor de' miei servitori, per non guastare ogni cosa.
9 But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
E farò uscire di Giacobbe una progenie, e di Giuda de' possessori de' miei monti; ed i miei eletti possederanno la terra, ed i miei servitori abiteranno in essa.
10 And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
E Saron sarà per mandra del minuto bestiame, e la valle di Acor per mandra del grosso; per lo mio popolo che mi avrà cercato.
11 But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
Ma quant'è a voi che abbandonate il Signore, che dimenticate il monte della mia santità, che apparecchiate la mensa al [pianeta] Gad, e fate a piena coppa offerte da spandere a Meni,
12 Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
io vi darò a conto alla spada, e voi tutti sarete messi giù per essere scannati; perciocchè io ho chiamato, e voi non avete risposto; io ho parlato, e voi non avete ascoltato; anzi avete fatto ciò che mi dispiace, ed avete eletto ciò che non mi aggrada.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
Perciò, così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Ecco, i miei servitori mangeranno, e voi sarete affamati; ecco, i miei servitori berranno, e vio sarete assetati; ecco, i miei servitori si rallegreranno, e voi sarete confusi;
14 Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
ecco, i miei servitori giubileranno di letizia di cuore, e voi striderete di cordoglio, ed urlerete di rottura di spirito.
15 And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
E lascerete il vostro nome a' miei eletti, per [servir d]'esecrazione; e il Signore Iddio ti ucciderà; ma egli nominerà i suoi servitori d'un altro nome.
16 He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
Colui che si benedirà nella terra si benedirà nell'Iddio di verità; e colui che giurerà nella terra giurerà per l'Iddio di perità; perciocchè le afflizioni di prima saranno dimenticate, e saranno nascoste dagli occhi miei.
17 For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
Perciocchè, ecco, io creo nuovi cieli, e nuova terra; e le cose di prima non saranno [più] rammemorate, e non verranno [più] alla mente.
18 But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
Anzi rallegratevi, e festeggiate in perpetuo, per le cose che io son per creare; perciocchè, ecco, io creerò Gerusalemme [per esser tutta] gioia, ed il suo popolo [per esser tutto] letizia.
19 And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
Ed io festeggerò di Gerusalemme, e mi rallegrerò del mio popolo; ed in quella non si udirà più voce di pianto, nè voce di strido.
20 There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
Non vi sarà più da indi innanzi bambino di [pochi] giorni nè vecchio, che non compia la sua età; perciocchè [chi] morrà d'età di cent'anni [sarà ancora] fanciullo, e il malfattore d'età di cent'anni sarà maledetto.
21 And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
Ed edificheranno delle case, e [vi] abiteranno; e pianteranno delle vigne, e ne mangeranno il frutto.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
Ei non avverrà [più] ch'essi edifichino [delle case], e che altri [vi] abiti [dentro]; ch'essi piantino, e che altri mangi [il frutto]; perciocchè i giorni del mio popolo [saranno] come i giorni degli alberi, e i miei eletti faranno invecchiar l'opera delle lor mani.
23 They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
Non si affaticheranno [più] in vano, e non genereranno [più] a turbamento; perciocchè [saranno] la progenie de' benedetti del Signore, ed [avran] seco quelli che saranno usciti di loro.
24 Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
Ed avverrà che, avanti che abbian gridato, io risponderò; mentre parleranno ancora, io [li] avrò esauditi.
25 The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
Il lupo e l'agnello pastureranno insieme; e il leone mangerà lo strame come il bue; e il cibo della serpe [sarà] la polvere; [queste bestie], in tutto il monte della mia santità, non faranno danno, nè guasto; ha detto il Signore.
