Isaiah 65
1 I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
"Ich werde also aufgesucht von denen, die mich sonst nicht fragen. Ich soll mich also finden lassen von denen, die mich sonst nicht suchten. 'Da, da bin ich', soll ich zu einem Volke sprechen, das meinen Namen sonst nicht angerufen.
2 I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
Ich breite meine Hände ja den ganzen Tag nach einem widerspenstigen Volke aus, das unheilvolle Wege geht, das seinem eigenen Dünkel folgt,
3 A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
nach einem Volk, das stets mich reizt, ganz ohne Scheu vor mir, das in den Gärten opfert und auf Ziegelsteinen räuchert,
4 Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
das in den Gräbern hockt und in Verließen ganze Nächte weilt, das Schweinefleisch genießt und in Gefäßen Greuelbrühe trägt,
5 Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
das ruft: 'Bleib, wo Du bist! Rühr mich nicht an! Sonst mache ich Dich noch gebannt.' Sie müssen Rauch in meinem Grimme werden, ein immer lodernd Feuer.
6 Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
Vor mir liegt's aufgeschrieben, und ich ruhe nicht, bis ich es heimgezahlt. Vergelten muß ich ihnen
7 Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
jetzt ihre Sünden und die ihrer Väter allzumal", so spricht der Herr, "die auf den hohen Bergen räucherten und auf den Hügeln meiner spotteten. Erst muß ich denen ihren Lohn in ihren Busen messen."
8 Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
Doch sagt der Herr auch dies: "Wenn in der Traube Saft sich zeigt, so heißt's: 'Zertritt sie nicht! Ein Segen ist ja drin.' So mache ich es auch um meiner Diener willen, daß ich das Ganze nicht verderbe.
9 But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
Aus Jakob bringe ich ein anderes Geschlecht hervor, aus Juda andre Erben meiner Berge, und meine Auserwählten sollen sie besitzen. Dort sollen meine Diener wohnen!
10 And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
Und Saron soll zur Schaftrift werden und Achors Tal zum Rinderlager diesem meinem Volk, das nach mir fragt!
11 But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
Für euch jedoch, die ihr den Herrn verlassen, für euch, die meinen heiligen Berg vergessen und die dem Glück den Tisch gedeckt, dem Schicksalsgott den Mischtrank eingeschenkt,
12 Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
für euch bestimme ich das Schwert. Zur Schlachtung müsset ihr euch ducken, weil ich rief und ihr nicht Antwort gabet, weil ich redete und ihr nicht hörtet, und weil ihr tatet, was mir nicht gefiel, und das gewählt, was ich nicht wollte."
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
Deshalb spricht so der Herr, der Herr: "Seht! Meine Diener essen; doch ihr hungert. Und meine Diener trinken; ihr aber dürstet. Und meine Diener sind von Herzen fröhlich, ihr aber seid mit Schmach bedeckt.
14 Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
Laut jubeln meine Diener auf vor Herzensfreude; ihr aber schreit vor Herzeleid und heult beim Niederbruch des Lebensmutes.
15 And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
Und euren Namen hinterlaßt ihr meinen Auserwählten zum Fluchen: 'Also töte dich der Herr, der Herr!' - Bei seinen Dienern aber braucht man neue Namen.
16 He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
Wer sich im Lande Segen wünscht, der wünscht ihn sich vom Gott der Treue, und wer im Lande schwört, der schwört alsdann beim Gott der Treue. - Die früheren Leiden werden all vergessen, verschwunden sein aus meinen Augen.
17 For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
Seht! Ich erschaffe einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde, und an das Frühere wird nicht gedacht, und keinem kommt es weiter in den Sinn.
18 But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
Nein! Jauchzet immerdar, frohlocket über das, was ich erschaffe. Denn seht! Jerusalem, das schaffe ich zum Jubel um, sein Volk zur Freude.
19 And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
Über Jerusalem frohlock' ich selbst und freue mich an meinem Volk. Kein Schluchzen hört man mehr darin und kein Geschrei.
20 There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
Nicht mehr gibt's dort frühzeitig alte Männer, die ihre Lebenstage nicht erreichen. Der Jüngste stirbt vielmehr als Hundertjähriger; wer hundert Jahre dann verfehlt, gilt als verflucht.
21 And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
Sie bauen Häuser und bewohnen sie, und pflanzen Reben und genießen deren Frucht.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
Sie bauen nicht, auf daß ein andrer es bewohne, sie pflanzen nicht, auf daß ein andrer es verzehre. Der Bäume Alter wird mein Volk erreichen, und ihrer Hände Werk verbrauchen meine Auserwählten selbst. -
23 They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
Ihr Schaffen soll nicht mehr vergeblich sein; sie sollen nicht umsonst sich Mühe geben. Ein Stamm, gesegnet von dem Herrn, sind sie samt ihren Kindern.
24 Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
Bevor sie rufen, werde ich willfahren; sie reden noch, und ich erhöre schon.
25 The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
Einträchtig weiden Wolf und Lamm zusammen, und Stroh verzehrt der Löwe gleich dem Rinde. Von Staub nährt sich die Schlange. Sie schaden und verletzen nicht auf meinem heiligen Berg, soweit er reicht." So spricht der Herr.
