Isaiah 62

1 For Zions sake I will not holde my tongue, and for Ierusalems sake I wil not rest, vntil the righteousnes thereof breake foorth as the light, and saluation thereof as a burning lampe.

சீயோனின் நிமித்தம் நான் மவுனமாயிராமலும், எருசலேமின் நிமித்தம் நான் செயலற்று இராமலும், அதன் நீதி விடியற்கால வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், அதன் இரட்சிப்பு பற்றியெரியும் ஒரு தீவட்டியைப் போலவும் வெளிப்படும்வரை அமராமலும் இருப்பேன்.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousnesse, and all Kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

பிறநாடுகள் உன் நீதியைக் காண்பார்கள், அரசர்கள் யாவரும் உன் மகிமையைக் காண்பார்கள்; யெகோவாவின் வாய் வழங்கும் ஒரு புதிய பெயரால் நீ அழைக்கப்படுவாய்.

3 Thou shalt also be a crowne of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royall diademe in the hand of thy God.

நீ யெகோவாவின் கரத்தில் சிறப்பான மகுடமாகவும், உன் இறைவனின் கரத்தில் அரச மகுடமாகவும் இருப்பாய்.

4 It shall no more be sayd vnto thee, Forsaken, neither shall it be said any more to thy land, Desolate, but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord deliteth in thee, and thy land shall haue an husband.

அவர்கள் இனி ஒருபோதும் உன்னைக் கைவிடப்பட்ட நாடு என அழைப்பதில்லை. உன்னைப் பாழடைந்த நாடு என்று சொல்வதுமில்லை. நீ எப்சிபா என்று அழைக்கப்படுவாய், உனது நாடு பியூலா என்று பெயர்பெறும்; ஏனெனில் யெகோவா உன்னில் பிரியப்படுவார், உன் நாடு வாழ்க்கைப்படும்.

5 For as a yong man marieth a virgine, so shall thy sonnes marry thee: and as a bridegrome is glad of the bride, so shall thy God reioyce ouer thee.

ஒரு வாலிபன் ஒரு கன்னிப் பெண்ணைத் திருமணம் செய்வதுபோல, உன்னைக் கட்டியெழுப்பியவர் உன்னைத் திருமணம் செய்வார். மணமகன் மணமகளில் மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்ளுவதுபோல, உன் இறைவன் உன்னில் மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்வார்.

6 I haue set watchmen vpon thy walles, O Ierusalem, which all the day and all the night continually shall not cease: ye that are mindfull of the Lord, keepe not silence,

எருசலேமே, நான் உனது மதில்களின்மேல் காவலாளரை நியமித்திருக்கிறேன்; பகலிலோ இரவிலோ ஒருபோதும் அவர்கள் மவுனமாய் இருக்கமாட்டார்கள். யெகோவாவை நோக்கி மன்றாடுவோரே, நீங்கள் ஓய்ந்திருக்க வேண்டாம்.

7 And giue him no rest, till hee repaire and vntill hee set vp Ierusalem the prayse of the worlde.

அவர் எருசலேமை நிலைக்கப்பண்ணி, அவளைப் பூமியின் புகழ்ச்சியாக்கும்வரை, அவருக்கு ஓய்வுகொடாதீர்கள்.

8 The Lord hath sworne by his right hand and by his strong arme, Surely I wil no more giue thy corne to be meate for thine enemies, and surely the sonnes of the strangers shall not drinke thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured.

யெகோவா தனது வலது கரத்தினாலும் வலிய புயத்தினாலும் ஆணையிட்டுக் கூறியது: “நான் உங்கள் தானியத்தை, இனி ஒருபோதும் உங்கள் பகைவர்களுக்கு உணவாகக் கொடுக்கமாட்டேன்; உங்கள் உழைப்பினால் உண்டான புதிய திராட்சரசத்தை பிறர் இனி ஒருபோதும் குடிக்கமாட்டார்கள்.

9 But they that haue gathered it, shall eate it, and prayse the Lord, and the gatherers thereof shall drinke it in the courtes of my Sanctuarie.

அதை அறுவடை செய்பவர்களே அதைச் சாப்பிட்டு, யெகோவாவைத் துதிப்பார்கள். திராட்சைப் பழங்களை சேகரிப்பவர்களே எனது பரிசுத்த இடத்தின் முற்றத்தில் திராட்சை இரசத்தைக் குடிப்பார்கள்.”

10 Go through, go through the gates: prepare you the way for the people: cast vp, cast vp the way, and gather out the stones and set vp a standart for the people.

கடந்துசெல்லுங்கள், வாசல்களைக் கடந்துசெல்லுங்கள்! மக்களுக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள். கட்டுங்கள், பெரும் பாதையைக் கட்டுங்கள்! கற்களை அகற்றுங்கள். நாடுகளுக்காக கொடியை ஏற்றுங்கள்.

11 Beholde, the Lord hath proclaimed vnto the endes of the world: tell the daughter Zion, Beholde, thy Sauiour commeth: beholde, his wages is with him, and his worke is before him.

யெகோவா பூமியின் கடைசிவரை பிரசித்தப்படுத்தியிருப்பது: “பாருங்கள், ‘உங்கள் இரட்சகர் வருகிறார்! இதோ, அவர் கொடுக்கும் வெகுமதி அவருடன் இருக்கிறது; அவர் கொடுக்கும் பிரதிபலனும் அவரோடு வருகிறது’ என்று சீயோன் மகளுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.”

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, and thou shalt be named, A citie sought out and not forsaken.

அவர்கள் பரிசுத்த மக்கள் என்றும், யெகோவாவினால் மீட்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுவார்கள்; நீ தேடிக் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டதென்றும் இனி ஒருபோதும் கைவிடப்படாத பட்டணம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுவாய்.
