Isaiah 53
1 Who will beleeue our report? and to whom is the arme of the Lord reueiled?
Quem acreditou em nossa mensagem? A quem foi revelado o braço de Yahweh?
2 But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him.
Pois ele cresceu antes dele como uma planta terna, e como uma raiz fora do solo seco. Ele não tem boa aparência ou majestade. Quando o vemos, não há beleza que devamos desejar-lhe.
3 He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not.
Ele foi desprezado e rejeitada pelos homens, um homem de sofrimento e familiarizado com as doenças. Ele era desprezado como alguém de quem os homens escondem seu rosto; e nós não o respeitamos.
4 Surely hee hath borne our infirmities, and caried our sorowes: yet wee did iudge him, as plagued, and smitten of God, and humbled.
Certamente ele tem suportado nossa doença e carregou nosso sofrimento; no entanto, nós o consideramos atormentado, atingidos por Deus, e aflitos.
5 But hee was wounded for our transgressions, hee was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was vpon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
Mas ele foi trespassado por nossas transgressões. Ele foi esmagado por nossas iniqüidades. A punição que nos trouxe a paz estava sobre ele; e por suas feridas estamos curados.
6 All we like sheepe haue gone astraye: wee haue turned euery one to his owne way, and the Lord hath layed vpon him the iniquitie of vs all.
Tudo o que nós gostamos de ovelhas se extraviou. Cada um se voltou para o seu próprio caminho; e Yahweh colocou sobre ele a iniquidade de todos nós.
7 Hee was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet did he not open his mouth: hee is brought as a sheepe to the slaughter, and as a sheepe before her shearer is dumme, so he openeth not his mouth.
Ele foi oprimido, no entanto, quando ele foi afligido, não abriu a boca. Como um cordeiro que é levado para o abate, e como uma ovelha que antes de seus tosquiadores está em silêncio, por isso ele não abriu a boca.
8 Hee was taken out from prison, and from iudgement: and who shall declare his age? for he was cut out of the lande of the liuing: for the transgression of my people was he plagued.
Ele foi levado pela opressão e pelo julgamento. Quanto à sua geração, que considerou que ele foi cortado da terra dos vivos e atingida pela desobediência do meu povo?
9 And he made his graue with the wicked, and with the riche in his death, though hee had done no wickednesse, neither was any deceite in his mouth.
Eles fizeram sua sepultura com os ímpios, e com um homem rico em sua morte, embora ele não tivesse feito nenhuma violência, nem havia nenhum engano em sua boca.
10 Yet the Lord would breake him, and make him subiect to infirmities: when hee shall make his soule an offring for sinne, he shall see his seede and shall prolong his dayes, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
No entanto, Yahweh gostou de machucá-lo. Ele o fez sofrer. Quando você faz de sua alma uma oferenda pelo pecado, ele verá sua descendência. Ele vai prolongar seus dias e o prazer de Yahweh prosperará em sua mão.
11 Hee shall see of the trauaile of his soule, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous seruant iustifie many: for hee shall beare their iniquities.
Após o sofrimento de sua alma, ele verá a luz e ficará satisfeito. Meu servo justo justificará muitos pelo conhecimento de si mesmo; e ele suportará suas iniqüidades.
12 Therefore will I giue him a portion with the great, and he shall deuide the spoyle with the strong, because hee hath powred out his soule vnto death: and he was counted with the transgressers, and he bare the sinne of many, and prayed for the trespassers.
Portanto, eu lhe darei uma parte com o grande. Ele dividirá o saque com os fortes, porque ele derramou sua alma até a morte e foi contada com os transgressores; mas ele carregava os pecados de muitos e intercedeu pelos transgressores.
