Isaiah 53
1 Who will beleeue our report? and to whom is the arme of the Lord reueiled?
ನಮ್ಮ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಾಹುವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು?
2 But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him.
ಅವನು ಚಿಗುರಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ಒಣ ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಬರುವ ಬೇರಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಘನತೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಯಾವ ಚಂದವು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3 He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not.
ಆತನು ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತನೂ ಮಾನವಕುಲದಿಂದ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲಾದವನೂ, ದುಃಖಿತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ, ನೋವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನಿಂದ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆವು. ಆತನು ಧಿಕ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಿದೆವು.
4 Surely hee hath borne our infirmities, and caried our sorowes: yet wee did iudge him, as plagued, and smitten of God, and humbled.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮ ನೋವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು; ಹೌದು, ನಮ್ಮ ದುಃಖಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡನು. ಆದರೂ ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಪೆಟ್ಟು ತಿಂದವನು, ದೇವರಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಹೊಂದಿದವನು, ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟವನು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು.
5 But hee was wounded for our transgressions, hee was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was vpon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
ನಮ್ಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಆತನು ತಿವಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದನು. ನಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆತನು ಜಜ್ಜಿಹೋದನು. ನಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ತಂದ ದಂಡನೆಯು ಆತನ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು. ಆತನ ಗಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಗುಣವಾಯಿತು.
6 All we like sheepe haue gone astraye: wee haue turned euery one to his owne way, and the Lord hath layed vpon him the iniquitie of vs all.
ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿದ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೆವು. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
7 Hee was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet did he not open his mouth: hee is brought as a sheepe to the slaughter, and as a sheepe before her shearer is dumme, so he openeth not his mouth.
ಆತನು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೂ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಬಲಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಕುರಿಯಂತೆಯೂ, ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕುರಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಆತನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 Hee was taken out from prison, and from iudgement: and who shall declare his age? for he was cut out of the lande of the liuing: for the transgression of my people was he plagued.
ಆತನನ್ನು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಆತನ ಕಾಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಮರುಗಿದರು? ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಜೀವಿತರ ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ದ್ರೋಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದನು.
9 And he made his graue with the wicked, and with the riche in his death, though hee had done no wickednesse, neither was any deceite in his mouth.
ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ವಂಚನೆಯು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವನು ಸತ್ತಾಗ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಪುಷ್ಟರ ನಡುವೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.
10 Yet the Lord would breake him, and make him subiect to infirmities: when hee shall make his soule an offring for sinne, he shall see his seede and shall prolong his dayes, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
ಆದರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜುವುದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆತನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರದ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವು ಆತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವುದು.
11 Hee shall see of the trauaile of his soule, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous seruant iustifie many: for hee shall beare their iniquities.
ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಜೀವದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತೃಪ್ತನಾಗುವನು. ತನ್ನ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನೇ ಅವರ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
12 Therefore will I giue him a portion with the great, and he shall deuide the spoyle with the strong, because hee hath powred out his soule vnto death: and he was counted with the transgressers, and he bare the sinne of many, and prayed for the trespassers.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣದವರೆಗೂ ಹೊಯ್ದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅನೇಕರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
