Isaiah 48

1 Hear yee this, O house of Iaakob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come out of the waters of Iudah: which sweare by the Name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousnesse.

۱ ای خاندان یعقوب که به نام اسرائیل مسمی هستید و از آب یهودا صادرشده‌اید، و به اسم یهوه قسم می‌خورید و خدای اسرائیل را ذکر می‌نمایید، اما نه به صداقت وراستی، این را بشنوید.

2 For they are called of the holy citie, and staie themselues vpon the God of Israel, whose Name is the Lord of hostes.

۲ زیرا که خویشتن را ازشهر مقدس می‌خوانند و بر خدای اسرائیل که اسمش یهوه صبایوت است اعتماد می‌دارند.

3 I haue declared ye former things of old, and they went out of my mouth, and I shewed them: I did them suddenly, and they came to passe.

۳ چیزهای اول را از قدیم اخبار کردم و از دهان من صادر شده، آنها را اعلام نمودم بغته به عمل آوردم و واقع شد.

4 Because I knewe, that thou art obstinate, and thy necke is an yron sinew, and thy brow brasse,

۴ چونکه دانستم که تو سخت دل هستی و گردنت بند آهنین و پیشانی تو برنجین است.

5 Therefore I haue declared it to thee of old: before it came to passe, I shewed it thee, lest thou shouldest say, Mine idole hath done them, and my carued image, and my molten image hath commanded them.

۵ بنابراین تو را از قدیم مخبر ساختم و قبل از وقوع تو را اعلام نمودم. مبادا بگویی که بت من آنها را بجا آورده و بت تراشیده و صنم ریخته شده من آنها را امر فرموده است.

6 Thou hast heard, behold all this, and wil not yee declare it? I haue shewed thee newe things, euen now, and hid things, which thou knewest not.

۶ چونکه همه این چیزها را شنیدی آنها را ملاحظه نما. پس آیاشما اعتراف نخواهید کرد، و از این زمان چیزهای تازه را به شما اعلام نمودم و چیزهای مخفی را که ندانسته بودید.

7 They are created now, and not of olde, and euen before this thou heardest them not, lest thou shouldest say, Beholde, I knewe them.

۷ در این زمان و نه در ایام قدیم آنها آفریده شد و قبل از امروز آنها را نشنیده بودی مبادا بگویی اینک این چیزها را می‌دانستم.

8 Yet thou heardest them not, neither diddest know them, neither yet was thine eare opened of olde: for I knewe that thou wouldest grieuously transgresse: therefore haue I called thee a transgressour from the wombe.

۸ البته نشنیده و هر آینه ندانسته و البته گوش توقبل از این باز نشده بود. زیرا می‌دانستم که بسیارخیانتکار هستی و از رحم (مادرت ) عاصی خوانده شدی.

9 For my Names sake will I defer my wrath, and for my praise will I refraine it from thee, that I cut thee not off.

۹ به‌خاطر اسم خود غضب خویش را به تاخیر خواهم‌انداخت و به‌خاطرجلال خویش بر تو شفقت خواهم کرد تا تو رامنقطع نسازم.

10 Behold, I haue fined thee, but not as siluer: I haue chosen thee in the fornace of affliction.

۱۰ اینک تو را قال گذاشتم اما نه مثل نقره و تو را در کوره مصیبت آزمودم.

11 For mine owne sake, for mine owne sake wil I doe it: for how should my Name be polluted? surely I wil not giue my glory vnto another.

۱۱ به خاطر ذات خود، به‌خاطر ذات خود این رامی کنم زیرا که اسم من چرا باید بی‌حرمت شود وجلال خویش را به دیگری نخواهم داد.

12 Heare me, O Iaakob and Israel, my called, I am, I am the first, and I am the last.

۱۲ ‌ای یعقوب و‌ای دعوت شده من اسرائیل بشنو! من او هستم! من اول هستم و آخر هستم!

13 Surely mine hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heaues: when I cal them, they stand vp together.

۱۳ به تحقیق دست من بنیاد زمین را نهاد و دست راست من آسمانها را گسترانید. وقتی که آنها رامی خوانم با هم برقرار می‌باشند.

14 All you, assemble your selues, and heare: which among them hath declared these thinges? The Lord hath loued him: he wil doe his will in Babel, and his arme shalbe against the Chaldeans.

۱۴ پس همگی شما جمع شده، بشنوید کیست از ایشان که اینهارا اخبار کرده باشد. خداوند او را دوست می‌دارد، پس مسرت خود را بر بابل بجا خواهد آورد وبازوی او بر کلدانیان فرود خواهد آمد.

15 I, euen I haue spoken it, and I haue called him: I haue brought him, and his way shall prosper.

۱۵ من تکلم نمودم و من او را خواندم و او را آوردم تا راه خود را کامران سازد.

16 Come neere vnto me: heare ye this: I haue not spoken it in secret from the beginning: from the time that the thing was, I was there, and now the Lord God and his Spirit hath sent me.

۱۶ به من نزدیک شده، این رابشنوید. از ابتدا در خفا تکلم ننمودم و از زمانی که این واقع شد من در آنجا هستم و الان خداوندیهوه مرا و روح خود را فرستاده است.

17 Thus saith the Lord thy redeemer, the Holy one of Israel, I am the Lord thy God, which teach thee to profite, and lead thee by the way, that thou shouldest goe.

۱۷ خداوندکه ولی تو و قدوس اسرائیل است چنین می‌گوید: «من یهوه خدای تو هستم و تو را تعلیم می‌دهم تاسود ببری و تو را به راهی که باید بروی هدایت می‌نمایم.

18 Oh that thou haddest hearkened to my commandements! then had thy prosperitie bene as the floude, and thy righteousnesse as the waues of the sea.

۱۸ کاش که به اوامر من گوش می‌دادی، آنگاه سلامتی تو مثل نهر و عدالت تو مانند امواج دریا می‌بود.

19 Thy seede also had beene as the sande, and the fruite of thy body like the grauell thereof: his name should not haue bene cut off nor destroied before me.

۱۹ آنگاه ذریت تو مثل ریگ و ثمره صلب تو مانند ذرات آن می‌بود و نام او از حضورمن منقطع و هلاک نمی گردید.»

20 Goe yee out of Babel: flee yee from the Chaldeans, with a voice of ioy: tel and declare this: shewe it foorth to the ende of the earth: say yee, The Lord hath redeemed his seruant Iaakob.

۲۰ از بابل بیرون شده، از میان کلدانیان بگریزید و این را به آواز ترنم اخبار و اعلام نماییدو آن را تا اقصای زمین شایع ساخته، بگویید که خداوند بنده خود یعقوب را فدیه داده است.

21 And they were not thirstie: hee led them through the wildernesse: hee caused the waters to flowe out of the rocke for them: for he claue the rocke, and the water gushed out.

۲۱ وتشنه نخواهند شد اگر‌چه ایشان را در ویرانه هارهبری نماید، زیرا که آب از صخره برای ایشان جاری خواهد ساخت و صخره را خواهدشکافت تا آبها بجوشد.

22 There is no peace, sayeth the Lord, vnto the wicked.

۲۲ و خداوند می‌گوید که برای شریران سلامتی نخواهد بود.
