Isaiah 45
1 Thus sayeth the Lord vnto Cyrus his anointed, whose right hand I haue holden to subdue nations before him: therefore will I weaken the loynes of Kings and open the doores before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
Ovako govori Gospod pomazaniku svojemu Kiru, kojega držim za desnicu, da oborim pred njim narode i careve raspašem, da se otvoraju vrata pred njim i da ne budu vrata zatvorena:
2 I will goe before thee and make the crooked streight: I will breake the brasen doores, and burst the yron barres.
Ja æu iæi pred tobom, i putove neravne poravniæu, vrata mjedena razbiæu i prijevornice gvozdene slomiæu.
3 And I will giue thee the treasures of darkenesse, and the things hid in secret places, that thou maist know that I am the Lord which call thee by thy name, euen the God of Israel.
I daæu ti blago tajno i bogatstvo sakriveno, da poznaš da sam ja Gospod Bog Izrailjev, koji te zovem po imenu.
4 For Iaakob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I will euen call thee by thy name and name thee, though thou hast not knowen me.
Radi sluge svojega Jakova i Izrailja izbranika svojega prozvah te imenom tvojim i prezimenom, premda me ne znaš.
5 I am the Lord and there is none other: there is no God besides me: I girded thee though thou hast not knowen me,
Ja sam Gospod, i nema drugoga, osim mene nema boga; opasah te, premda me ne znaš,
6 That they may knowe from the rising of the sunne and from the West, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none other.
Da bi poznali od istoka sunèanoga i od zapada da nema drugoga osim mene; ja sam Gospod i nema drugoga,
7 I forme the light and create darkenes: I make peace and create euill: I the Lord doe all these things.
Koji pravim svjetlost i stvaram mrak, gradim mir i stvaram zlo; ja Gospod èinim sve to.
8 Ye heauens, send the dewe from aboue, and let the cloudes droppe downe righteousnesse: let the earth open, and let saluation and iustice growe foorth: let it bring them foorth together: I the Lord haue created him.
Rosite, nebesa, ozgo, i oblaci neka kaplju pravdom, neka se otvori zemlja i neka rodi spasenjem i zajedno neka uzraste pravda; ja Gospod stvorih to.
9 Woe be vnto him that striueth with his maker, the potsherd with the potsherds of the earth: shall the clay say to him that facioneth it, What makest thou? or thy worke, It hath none hands?
Teško onom ko se svaða s tvorcem svojim; crijep s drugim crepovima neka se svaða; ali hoæe li kao reæi lonèaru svojemu: šta radiš? za tvoj posao nema ruku.
10 Woe vnto him that sayeth to his father, What hast thou begotten? or to his mother, What hast thou brought foorth?
Teško onom ko govori ocu: što raðaš? i ženi: što se poraðaš?
11 Thus saith the Lord, the holy one of Israel, and his maker, Aske me of things to come concerning my sonnes, and concerning the workes of mine hands: commande you me.
Ovako veli Gospod svetac Izrailjev i tvorac njegov: pitajte me što æe biti; za sinove moje i za djelo ruku mojih nareðujte mi.
12 I haue made the earth, and created man vpon it: I, whose hands haue spred out the heauens, I haue euen commanded all their armie.
Ja sam naèinio zemlju i èovjeka na njoj stvorio, ja sam razapeo nebesa svojim rukama, i svoj vojsci njihovoj dao zapovijest.
13 I haue raised him vp in righteousnesse, and I will direct all his wayes: he shall build my citie, and he shall let goe my captiues, not for price nor rewarde, saith the Lord of hostes.
Ja ga podigoh u pravdi, i sve putove njegove poravniæu; on æe sazidati moj grad i roblje moje otpustiæe, ne za novce ni za darove, veli Gospod nad vojskama.
14 Thus sayth the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and the marchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature shall come vnto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall follow thee, and shall goe in chaines: they shall fall downe before thee, and make supplication vnto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee, and there is none other God besides.
Ovako veli Gospod: trud Misirski i trgovina Etiopska i Savaca ljudi visoka rasta doæi æe k tebi i biti tvoja; za tobom æe pristati, u okovima æe iæi, i tebi æe se klanjati, tebi æe se moliti govoreæi: doista, Bog je u tebi, i nema drugoga Boga.
15 Verely thou, O God, hidest thy selfe, O God, the Sauiour of Israel.
Da, ti si Bog, koji se kriješ, Bog Izrailjev, spasitelj.
16 All they shalbe ashamed and also confounded: they shall goe to confusion together, that are the makers of images.
Oni æe se svi postidjeti i posramiti, otiæi æe sa sramotom svikoliki koji grade likove.
17 But Israel shall be saued in the Lord, with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded worlde without ende.
A Izrailja æe spasti Gospod spasenjem vjeènijem, neæete se postidjeti niti æete se osramotiti dovijeka.
18 For thus saith the Lord (that created heauen, God himselfe, that formed the earth, and made it: he that prepared it, he created it not in vaine: he formed it to be inhabited) I am the Lord, and there is none other.
Jer ovako veli Gospod, koji je stvorio nebo, Bog, koji je sazdao zemlju i naèinio je i utvrdio, i nije je stvorio naprazno, nego je naèinio da se na njoj nastava: ja sam Gospod, i nema drugoga.
19 I haue not spoken in secrete, neither in a place of darkenes in the earth: I saide not in vaine vnto the seede of Iaakob, Seeke you me: I the Lord doe speake righteousnesse, and declare righteous things.
Nijesam govorio tajno ni na mraènu mjestu na zemlji, nijesam rekao sjemenu Jakovljevu: tražite me uzalud. Ja Gospod govorim pravdu, javljam što je pravo.
20 Assemble your selues, and come: drawe neere together, ye abiect of the Gentiles: they haue no knowledge, that set vp the wood of their idole, and pray vnto a god, that cannot saue them.
Skupite se i doðite, pristupite svi koji ste se izbavili izmeðu naroda. Ništa ne znaju koji nose drvo od svojega lika i mole se bogu koji ne može pomoæi.
21 Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from the beginning? or hath tolde it of olde? Haue not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a iust God, and a Sauiour: there is none beside me.
Oglasite, i dovedite, neka vijeæaju zajedno: ko je to od starine kazao? ko je javio još onda? Nijesam li ja, Gospod? Nema osim mene drugoga Boga, nema Boga pravednoga i spasitelja drugoga osim mene.
22 Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other.
Pogledajte u mene, i spašæete se svi krajevi zemaljski; jer sam ja Bog, i nema drugoga.
23 I haue sworne by my selfe: the worde is gone out of my mouth in righteousnesse, and shall not returne, That euery knee shall bowe vnto me, and euery tongue shall sweare by me.
Sobom se zakleh; izide iz usta mojih rijeè pravedna, i neæe se poreæi, da æe mi se pokloniti svako koljeno, i zaklinjati se svaki jezik,
24 Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed.
I govoriæe: u Gospodu je pravda i sila; k njemu æe doæi; ali æe se posramiti svi koji se gnjeve na nj.
25 The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.
U Gospodu æe se opravdati i proslaviti sve sjeme Izrailjevo.
