< Isaiah 43 >

1 But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
Ke azɔ la, ale Yehowa, ame si wɔ wò, O! Yakob, eye wòme wò, O! Israel, la gblɔe nye esi, “Mègavɔ̃ o, elabena meɖe wò. Metsɔ wò ŋkɔ yɔ wò be tɔnye nènye.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
Ne èto tɔ me, mato eme kpli wò, ne èto tɔsisiwo me, mato wo me kpli wò be tɔsisi la malé wò o. Ne èto dzo me mame wò o, eye dzo ƒe aɖewo hã mafia wò o,
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy ransome, Ethiopia, and Seba for thee.
elabena nye Yehowa, wò Mawu, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ lae nye wò ɖela. Metsɔ Egipte ƒle tawò, eye Kus kple Seba axɔ ɖe tewòƒe.
4 Because thou wast precious in my sight, and thou wast honourable, and I loued thee, therefore will I giue man for thee, and people for thy sake.
Esi asixɔxɔ kple bubu le ŋutiwò le ŋkunye me, eye melɔ̃ wò ta la, matsɔ ŋutsuwo ana ɖe tewòƒe. Matsɔ amegbetɔwo ana ɖe wò agbe teƒe.
5 Feare not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seede from the East, and gather thee from the West.
Mègavɔ̃ o, elabena meli kpli wò, makplɔ viwòwo tso ɣedzeƒe, eye maƒo mia nu ƒu tso ɣetoɖoƒe.
6 I will say to the North, Giue: and to the South, Keepe not backe: bring my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.
Magblɔ na anyiehe be, ‘Ɖe asi le wo ŋu.’ Na dziehe be, ‘Megasika wo o.’ Mikplɔ vinye ŋutsuwo tso didiƒe kple vinyenyɔnuwo tso anyigba ƒe mlɔenuwo ke vɛ,
7 Euery one shall be called by my Name: for I created him for my glorie, formed him and made him.
ame sia ame si ko ŋu woyɔ nye ŋkɔ ɖo, ame siwo mewɔ hena nye ŋutikɔkɔe, ame siwo meme, eye mewɔ.”
8 I will bring foorth the blinde people, and they shall haue eyes, and the deafe, and they shall haue eares.
Mikplɔ ame siwo ŋku li na, gake womele nu kpɔm o la kple ame siwo to li na, gake womesea nu o la do goe.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this and shewe vs former things? let them bring foorth their witnesses, that they may be iustified: but let them heare, and say, It is truth.
Dukɔwo katã kpe ta, eye amewo ƒo takpli. Wo dometɔ kae gblɔ esia da ɖi, eye wòɖe gbeƒã nu siwo dzɔ va yi la na mi? Womekplɔ woƒe ɖasefowo vɛ, ne woaɖee fia be woƒe nya dzɔ, ale be ame bubuwo asee agblɔ be, “Nyateƒee” o.
10 You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my seruant, whom I haue chosen: therefore yee shall knowe and beleeue me and yee shall vnderstand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Yehowa be, “Miawoe nye nye ɖasefowo kple nye dɔla si metia be mianya, eye miaxɔ dzinye ase, ase egɔme be nyee. Mawu aɖeke medo ŋgɔ nam o, eye ɖeke hã mado ŋgɔ nam o.
11 I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour.
Nyee, ɛ̃, nyee. Nyee nye Yehowa. Ɖela aɖeke meli kpe ɖe ŋunye o.
12 I haue declared, and I haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, sayeth the Lord, that I am God.
Nye la, meɖee fia. Meɖe eme, eye meɖe gbeƒã be nyee, ke menye dzromawu siwo le mia dome lae o. Miawoe nye nye ɖasefowo.”
13 Yea, before the day was, I am, and there is none that can deliuer out of mine hand: I will doe it, and who shall let it?
Yehowae gblɔe. “Mianyae be nyee nye Mawu. Ɛ̃, nye koe tso blema ke. Ame aɖeke mate ŋu axɔ ame le asinye o. Ne mewɔ nu la, ame kae ate ŋu atrɔe?”
14 Thus sayeth the Lord your redeemer, the holy one of Israel, For your sake I haue sent to Babel, and brought it downe: they are all fugitiues, and the Chaldeans crie in the shippes.
Ale Yehowa, wò Ɖela, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la gblɔe nye esi, “Le tawò madɔ ame ɖo ɖe Babilonia woaɖakplɔ Babiloniatɔwo vɛ abe aʋasilawo ene, eye woalɔ wo ɖe woƒe tɔdziʋu siwo dzi wodana ɖo la me.
15 I am the Lord your holy one, the creator of Israel, your King.
Nyee nye Yehowa, miaƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la, Israel Wɔla kple miaƒe Fia.”
16 Thus sayeth the Lord which maketh a way in the Sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
Ale Yehowa, ame si ɖe mɔ to atsiaƒu me, ame si ɖe mɔ to tɔsisi gãwo me,
17 When hee bringeth out the charet and horse, the armie and the power lie together, and shall not rise: they are extinct, and quenched as towe.
ame si na tasiaɖamwo, sɔwo, aʋakɔwo, kple kalẽtɔwo ho aʋa, va tsi afi si womagafɔ le gbeɖe o. Ame si na wotsrɔ̃, eye wotsi abe akaɖimeɖovu ene la gblɔe nye esi:
18 Remember yee not the former things, neither regard the things of olde.
“Miŋlɔ blemanuwo be. Migaɖo ŋu ɖe gbe aɖe gbe nuwo ŋu o.
19 Behold, I do a new thing: now shall it come foorth: shall you not knowe it? I wil euen make a way in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse.
Kpɔ ɖa, mele nu yeye wɔm! Edo mo ɖa xoxo, mèle ekpɔm oa? Mele mɔ tam ɖe gbedzi, eye mana tɔsisiwo nado ɖe kuɖiɖinyigba dzi.
20 The wilde beastes shall honour mee, the dragons and the ostriches, because I gaue water in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse to giue drinke to my people, euen to mine elect.
Gbemelãwo, amegaxiwo kple golowo ade bubu ŋunye, elabena mena tsi do tso gbegbe, eye tɔsisiwo do ɖe kuɖiɖinyigba dzi be mana tsi nye amewo, nye ame tiatiawo,
21 This people haue I formed for my selfe: they shall shewe foorth my praise.
ame siwo mewɔ na ɖokuinye be woaɖe gbeƒã nye kafukafu.
22 And thou hast not called vpon mee, O Iaakob, but thou hast wearied me, O Israel.
“Ke wò, Yakob, mèyɔm o. O! Israel, mèkpe fu ɖe tanye o.
23 Thou hast not brought me the sheepe of thy burnt offrings, neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I haue not caused thee to serue with an offring, nor wearied thee with incense.
Mètsɔa wò alẽwo saa numevɔ nam loo alo tsɔa wò akpedavɔsa dea bubu ŋunye o. Nyemetsɔ nuɖuvɔsawo do agbae na wò o alo ɖe fu na wo be nàtsɔ dzudzɔʋeʋĩdonu vɛ nam o.
24 Thou boughtest mee no sweete sauour with money, neither hast thou made mee drunke with the fatte of thy sacrifices, but thou hast made mee to serue with thy sinnes, and wearied mee with thine iniquities.
Mètsɔ atikeʋeʋĩ aɖeke vɛ nam alo tsɔa wò lãwo ƒe ami sãa vɔ̃e nam agbadree o, ke boŋ ètsɔ wò nu vɔ̃wo do agbae nam, eye nèɖe fu nam kple wo vodadawo.
25 I, euen I am he that putteth away thine iniquities for mine owne sake, and will not remember thy sinnes.
“Nyee, ɛ̃, nyee atutu wò dzidadawo ɖa le nye ŋutɔ ɖokuinye ta, eye nyemagaɖo ŋku wò nu vɔ̃wo dzi o.
26 Put me in remembrance: let vs be iudged together: count thou that thou maist be iustified.
Ɖo ŋku tsãnuwo dzi nam. Na míahe nya sia kple mía nɔewo. Gblɔ ale si wò nya dzɔe.
27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers haue transgressed against me.
Fofowò gbãtɔ wɔ nu vɔ̃. Wò nyanuɖelawo dze aglã ɖe ŋutinye,
28 Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.
eya ta mado ŋunyɔ ame ŋkuta siwo le wò gbedoxɔ me. Matsɔ Yakob ade asi na gbegblẽ, eye Israel na fewuɖuɖu.”
