Isaiah 38
1 About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.
౧ఆ రోజుల్లో హిజ్కియాకు ప్రాణాంతకమైన జబ్బు చేసింది. ప్రవక్త, ఆమోజు కొడుకు యెషయా అక్కడకు వచ్చాడు. “‘నువ్వు చనిపోబోతున్నావు, ఇక బతకవు. కాబట్టి నీ ఇల్లు చక్కబెట్టుకో’ అని యెహోవా సెలవిస్తున్నాడు” అని చెప్పాడు.
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord,
౨అప్పుడు హిజ్కియా గోడవైపు తిరిగి,
3 And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.
౩“యెహోవా, యథార్థ హృదయంతో, సత్యంతో నీ సన్నిధిలో నేనేవిధంగా జీవించానో, సమస్తాన్నీ ఏ విధంగా నీ దృష్టికి మంచిదిగా జరిగించానో, కృపతో జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో” అని కన్నీళ్ళతో యెహోవాను ప్రార్థించాడు.
4 Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
౪అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు యెషయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా చెప్పాడు,
5 Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.
౫“నువ్వు తిరిగి హిజ్కియా దగ్గరికి పోయి అతనితో ఇలా చెప్పు, ‘నీ పూర్వికుడైన దావీదు దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకు సెలవిచ్చేదేమంటే నీ కన్నీళ్లు నేను చూశాను. నీ ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించాను.
6 And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and this citie: for I will defende this citie.
౬నీ జీవితంలో 15 సంవత్సరాల ఆయుష్షు పెంచుతాను. నిన్ను, ఈ పట్టణాన్ని అష్షూరు రాజు చేతి నుండి విడిపించి కాపాడతాను.
7 And this signe shalt thou haue of ye Lord, that ye Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken,
౭తాను పలికిన మాట నెరవేరుతుంది అనడానికి యెహోవా నీకిచ్చే సూచన ఇదే,
8 Beholde, I will bring againe the shadowe of the degrees (whereby it is gone downe in the diall of Ahaz by the sunne) ten degrees backeward: so the sunne returned by tenne degrees, by the which degrees it was gone downe.
౮ఆహాజు ఎండ గడియారం మీద సూర్యకాంతి చేత ముందుకు జరిగిన నీడ మళ్ళీ పది మెట్లు ఎక్కేలా చేస్తాను.’” అప్పుడు సూర్యకాంతిలో ముందుకు జరిగిన మెట్లలో పది మెట్లు మళ్ళీ వెనక్కి జరిగింది.
9 The writing of Hezekiah King of Iudah, when he had bene sicke, and was recouered of his sickenesse.
౯యూదారాజు హిజ్కియా జబ్బుపడి తిరిగి ఆరోగ్యం పొందిన తరువాత అతడు రచించిన ప్రార్థన.
10 I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres. (Sheol h7585)
౧౦“నా జీవితం సగభాగంలో నేను పాతాళ ద్వారం గుండా వెళ్ళాల్సివచ్చింది. మిగిలిన సగభాగం నేనిక కోల్పోయినట్టే. (Sheol h7585)
11 I said, I shall not see the Lord, euen the Lord in the land of the liuing: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
౧౧యెహోవాను, సజీవుల దేశంలో యెహోవాను చూడక పోయేవాణ్ణి. మృతుల లోకంలో పడిపోయి ఇక మనుషులకు కనిపించనేమో అనుకున్నాను.
12 Mine habitation is departed, and is remoued from me, like a shepheards tent: I haue cut off like a weauer my life: he will cut me off from the height: from day to night, thou wilt make an ende of me.
౧౨నా జీవం తీసేశారు. గొర్రెల కాపరి గుడిసెలాగా అది నా దగ్గర నుండి తీసివేశారు. నేతపనివాడు చేసినట్టు నా జీవితాన్ని చుట్టేస్తున్నాను. ఆయన నన్ను మగ్గం నుండి దూరం చేశాడు. ఒక్క రోజులోనే నువ్వు నా జీవితాన్ని ముగిస్తున్నావు.
13 I rekoned to the morning: but he brake all my bones, like a lion: from day to night wilt thou make an ende of me.
౧౩(ఉదయం దాకా ఓర్చుకున్నాను. సింహం లాగా నా ఎముకలన్నిటినీ విరిచేశాడు.) ఒక్క రోజులోనే నువ్వు నన్ను సమాప్తి చేస్తావు.
14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourne as a doue: mine eies were lift vp on high: O Lord, it hath oppressed me, comfort me.
౧౪ముళ్ళ తోక పిట్టలాగా కిచ కిచలాడాను. పావురం లాగా కూశాను. పైకి చూసీ చూసీ నా కళ్ళు అలసిపోయాయి. నలిగి పోయాను. యెహోవా, నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
15 What shall I say? for he hath said it to me, and he hath done it: I shall walke weakely all my yeeres in the bitternesse of my soule.
౧౫నేనేమనగలను? ఆయన నా గురించి మాట పలికాడు, ఆయనే దాన్ని జరిగించాడు. నా హృదయంలో నిండి ఉన్న దుఃఖాన్ని బట్టి నా సంవత్సరాలన్నీ తడబడుతూ గడిపేస్తాను.
16 O Lord, to them that ouerliue them, and to all that are in them, the life of my spirite shalbe knowen, that thou causedst me to sleepe and hast giuen life to me.
౧౬ప్రభూ, నీవు పంపిన బాధలు మనుషులకు మంచివే. వాటి వల్లనే నా ఆత్మ జీవిస్తున్నది. నువ్వు నన్ను బాగు చేసి నన్ను జీవింపజేశావు.
17 Beholde, for felicitie I had bitter griefe, but it was thy pleasure to deliuer my soule from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sinnes behinde thy backe.
౧౭ఆ తీవ్రమైన బాధ వల్లనే నాకు నెమ్మది కలిగింది. నీ ప్రేమతో నా ప్రాణాన్ని నాశనం అనే గోతి నుండి విడిపించావు. నా పాపాలన్నిటినీ నీ వీపు వెనుకకు పారవేశావు.
18 For the graue cannot confesse thee: death cannot praise thee: they that goe downe into the pit, cannot hope for thy trueth. (Sheol h7585)
౧౮ఎందుకంటే పాతాళంలో నీకు స్తుతి కలగదు. మరణం నీకు స్తుతి చెల్లించదు. సమాధిలోకి వెళ్ళినవారు నీ నమ్మకత్వంపై ఆశ పెట్టుకోరు. (Sheol h7585)
19 But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.
౧౯సజీవులు, సజీవులే గదా నిన్ను స్తుతిస్తారు! ఈ రోజున నేను సజీవుడిగా నిన్ను స్తుతిస్తున్నాను. తండ్రులు తమ కొడుకులకు నీ సత్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తారు. యెహోవా నన్ను రక్షించేవాడు.
20 The Lord was ready to saue me: therefore we will sing my song, all the dayes of our life in the House of the Lord.
౨౦నా జీవిత కాలమంతా యెహోవా మందిరంలో సంగీత వాయిద్యాలు వాయిస్తాను.”
21 Then said Isaiah, Take a lumpe of drye figs and lay it vpon the boyle, and he shall recouer.
౨౧యెషయా “ఒక అంజూరు పండ్ల ముద్దను ఆ పుండుకు కట్టండి, అప్పుడు అతడు బాగుపడతాడు” అని చెప్పాడు.
22 Also Hezekiah had said, What is ye signe, that I shall goe vp into the House of the Lord?
౨౨దానికి ముందు హిజ్కియా “నేను మళ్ళీ యెహోవా మందిరానికి వెళతాను అనేదానికి సూచన ఏమిటి?” అని అతణ్ణి అడిగాడు.
