3 Then came foorth vnto him Eliakim the sonne of Hilkiah the steward of the house, and Shebna the chanceler, and Ioah the sonne of Asaph the recorder.
To naah Hilkiah capa, siangpahrang im khenzawnkung Eliakim, ca tarik kami Shebna, Asaph capa, ca pakuem kami, Joah cae loe anih khaeah caeh o.
4 And Rabshakeh sayde vnto them, Tell you Hezekiah, I pray you, Thus sayth the great King, the King of Asshur, What confidence is this, wherein thou trustest?
Misatuh angraeng Rashakeh mah nihcae khaeah, lensawk siangpahrang, Assyria siangpahrang mah, Tipongah nangmah hoi nangmah to tih khoek to nang oep loe? tiah a thuih, tiah Hezekiah khaeah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
5 I say, Surely I haue eloquence, but counsell and strength are for the warre: on whom then doest thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?
Nang loe misatuk kophaih hoi thacak misatuh kaminawk to ka tawnh mang, tiah na thuih ti; toe amsawnlok ni na thuih; mi ih tha oephaih hoiah maw kai hae nang tuk han?
6 Loe, thou trustest in this broken staffe of reede on Egypt, whereupon if a man leane, it will goe into his hand, and pearce it: so is Pharaoh King of Egypt, vnto all that trust in him.
Khenah, nang loe angkhaek sakrungkung baktiah kaom, Izip prae ni nang oep haih; sakrungkung baktiah kaom akung nuiah amha kami loe angkhaek sakrungkung mah ban to thun pae ueloe, ahmaa caa tih; Izip siangpahrang Faro mah doeh anih khaeah amha kaminawk to to tiah sah tih.
7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the Lord our God. Is not that he, whose hie places and whose altars Hezekiah tooke downe, and said to Iudah and to Ierusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?
Toe nangcae mah, Kaicae loe kaimacae ih Angraeng Sithaw ni ka oep o, tiah na thuih o; Hezekiah mah hmuensang hoi hmaicamnawk to phraek boih moe, Judah hoi Jerusalem kaminawk khaeah, Hae ih hmaicam hmaa ah khue ni Sithaw na bok o han, tiah a thuih na ai maw?
8 Nowe therefore giue hostages to my lorde the King of Asshur, and I wil giue thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders vpon them.
To pongah angzo oh loe, ka angraeng Assyria siangpahrang hoi palungduehaih to sah oh; hrang angthueng thaih kami na tawnh o nahaeloe, nihcae kakhawt ah hrang sang hnetto kang paek o han!
9 For howe canst thou despise any captaine of the least of my lordes seruants? and put thy trust on Egypt for charets and for horsemen?

10 And am I now come vp without the Lord to this land to destroy it? The Lord sayd vnto me, Goe vp against this land and destroy it.

11 Then sayd Eliakim and Shebna and Ioah vnto Rabshakeh, Speake, I pray thee, to thy seruants in the Aramites language, (for we vnderstand it) and talke not with vs in the Iewes tongue, in the audience of the people that are on the wall.

12 Then said Rabshakeh, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee to speake these wordes, and not to the men that sit on the wall? that they may eate their owne doung, and drinke their owne pisse with you?
Toe misatuh angraeang Rabshakeh mah, Nangcae angraeng hoi nangcae khae khue lokthuih hanah ka angraeng mah ang patoeh, tiah na poek o maw? Hezekiah ih lok to tahngai o hmah; Assyria siangpahrang mah hae tiah thuih; Kai hoi angdaehhaih sah oh loe, kai khaeah angzo oh; to tiah nahaeloe kami boih mah angmah ih misurthaih hoi thaiduet thaih to caa o ueloe, angmah ih tuikhaw thung ih tui to nae o tih;

Kang zoh moe, nangcae to nangmacae prae baktiah kaom, cang hoi misurtui ohhaih prae, takaw hoi misur takha ohhaih prae ah kang caeh o haih han.

19 Where is the god of Hamath, and of Arpad? where is the god of Sepharuaim? or howe haue they deliuered Samaria out of mine hand?
Hamath hoi Arpad ih sithawnawk loe naa ah maw oh o? Sephavaim ih sithawnawk loe naa ah maw oh o? Nihcae mah Samaria to ka ban thung hoiah loisak thaih maw?
20 Who is hee among all the gods of these lands, that hath deliuered their countrey out of mine hand, that the Lord should deliuer Ierusalem out of mine hand?

21 Then they kept silence, and answered him not a worde: for the Kings commandement was, saying, Answere him not.
Lok pathim han ai ah lokpaek boeh pongah, Judah kaminawk mah, lok pakha to doeh pathim pae o ai, oh o taak duem.
22 Then came Eliakim the sonne of Hilkiah the steward of the house, and Shebna the chanceller, and Ioah the sonne of Asaph the recorder, vnto Hezekiah with rent clothes, and tolde him the wordes of Rabshakeh.
