Isaiah 31
1 Woe vnto them that goe downe into Egypt for helpe, and stay vpon horses, and trust in charets, because they are many, and in horsemen, because they be very strong: but they looke not vnto the holy one of Israel, nor seeke vnto the Lord.
Kaiton waɗanda suka gangara zuwa Masar don neman taimako, waɗanda suke dogara ga dawakai, waɗanda suke dogara ga yawan kekunan yaƙinsu da kuma a girman ƙarfin mahayan dawakansu, amma ba sa dogara ga Mai Tsarkin nan na Isra’ila, ko ya nemi taimako daga Ubangiji.
2 But he yet is wisest: therefore he wil bring euill, and not turne backe his worde, but he will arise against the house of the wicked, and against the helpe of them that worke vanitie.
Shi ma yana da hikima kuma zai iya kawo masifa; ba ya janye kalmominsa. Zai yi gāba da gidan mugu, gāba da waɗanda suke taimakon masu aikata mugunta.
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God, and their horses flesh and not spirite: and when the Lord shall stretch out his hand, the helper shall fall, and hee that is holpen shall fall, and they shall altogether faile.
Amma Masarawa mutane ne ba Allah ba; dawakansu nama da jini ne ba ruhu ba. Sa’ad da Ubangiji ya miƙa hannunsa, shi da yake taimako zai yi tuntuɓe shi da aka taimaka zai fāɗi; dukansu biyu za su hallaka tare.
4 For thus hath the Lord spoken vnto me, As the lyon or lyons whelpe roareth vpon his praye, against whom if a multitude of shepheards be called, hee will not be afraide at their voyce, neither will humble him selfe at their noise: so shall the Lord of hostes come downe to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
Ga abin da Ubangiji ya faɗa mini, “Kamar yadda zaki kan yi ruri babban zaki a kan abin da ya yi farauta, kuma ko da yake dukan ƙungiyar makiyaya sun taru wuri ɗaya a kansa, ba zai jijjigu ta wurin ihunsu ba ko ya damu da kiraye-kirayensu, ta haka Ubangiji Maɗaukaki zai sauko don yă yi yaƙi a kan Dutsen Sihiyona da kuma a kan ƙwanƙolinsa.
5 As birds that flie, so shall the Lord of hostes defend Ierusalem by defending and deliuering, by passing through and preseruing it.
Kamar tsuntsaye masu shawagi a sama haka Ubangiji Maɗaukaki zai kiyaye Urushalima; zai kāre ta ya kuma fanshe ta, zai ‘ƙetare’ ta ya kuma kuɓutar da ita.”
6 O ye children of Israel, turne againe, in as much as ye are sunken deepe in rebellion.
Ku dawo gare shi ku da kuka yi masa babban tayarwa, ya Isra’ilawa.
7 For in that day euery man shall cast out his idoles of siluer, and his idoles of golde, which your handes haue made you, euen a sinne.
Gama a wannan rana kowannenku zai ƙi gumakan azurfa da zinariya da hannuwanku masu zunubi suka yi.
8 Then shall Asshur fall by the sworde, not of man, neither shall the sworde of man deuoure him, and hee shall flee from the sworde, and his yong men shall faint.
“Za a karkashe Assuriyawa da takobin da ba na yin mutum ba; takobi, da ba na yin mutum ba, zai cinye. Za su gudu daga takobi za a kuma sa samarinsu aikin dole.
9 And he shall go for feare to his towre, and his princes shall be afraide of the standart, sayeth the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his fornace in Ierusalem.
Kagararsu za tă fāɗi saboda razana; da ganin matsayin yaƙin, shugabannin yaƙinsu za su firgita,” in ji Ubangiji, wanda wutarsa tana a Sihiyona, wanda matoyarsa tana a Urushalima.
