Isaiah 28
1 Woe to the crowne of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim: for his glorious beautie shall be a fading flowre, which is vpon the head of the valley of them that be fat, and are ouercome with wine.
Ve al la fiera krono de la ebriuloj de Efraim! ilia bela majesto estas velkinta floro; sur la supro de grasa kampo ili estas senkonsciigitaj de vino.
2 Beholde, the Lord hath a mightie and strong hoste, like a tempest of haile, and a whirlewinde that ouerthroweth, like a tempest of mightie waters that ouerflowe, which throwe to the ground mightily.
Jen la Sinjoro havas fortulon kaj potenculon; kiel hajla pluvego, kiel pereiga ventego, kiel inundo de forta disverŝiĝinta akvo, li potence ĵetos ilin sur la teron.
3 They shall be troden vnder foote, euen the crowne and the pride of the drunkards of Ephraim.
Per piedoj estos premata la fiera krono de la ebriuloj de Efraim.
4 For his glorious beautie shall be a fading floure, which is vpon the head of the valley of them that be fatte, and as the hastie fruite afore sommer, which when hee that looketh vpon it, seeth it, while it is in his hand, he eateth it.
Kaj ilia bela majesto fariĝos velkinta floro sur la supro de grasa kampo, kiel figo antaŭ la somero; kiam la vidanto ĝin ekvidas, li, apenaŭ preninte ĝin en la manon, tuj ĝin englutas.
5 In that day shall the Lord of hostes be for a crowne of glory, and for a diademe of beautie vnto the residue of his people:
En tiu tago la Eternulo Cebaot estos majesta krono kaj bela diademo por la restaĵo de Sia popolo,
6 And for a spirite of iudgement to him that sitteth in iudgement, and for strength vnto them that turne away the battell to the gate.
kaj spirito de justeco por la sidantoj en la juĝejo, kaj forto por tiuj, kiuj rebatas la batalon al la pordego.
7 But they haue erred because of wine, and are out of the way by strong drinke: the priest and the prophet haue erred by strong drinke: they are swallowed vp with wine: they haue gone astraye through strong drinke: they faile in vision: they stumble in iudgement.
Sed ankaŭ ĉi tiuj ŝanceliĝas de vino kaj balanciĝas de drinkaĵo; pastro kaj profeto ŝanceliĝas de drinkaĵo, senkonsciiĝas de vino, vagas pro drinkaĵo, eraras en la vidado, falpuŝiĝas ĉe la juĝa verdikto.
8 For all their tables are full of filthy vomiting: no place is cleane.
Ĉar ĉiuj tabloj estas plenaj de vomaĵo kaj malpuraĵo, mankas jam loko.
9 Whome shall he teache knowledge? and whome shall he make to vnderstand the thinges that hee heareth? them that are weyned from the milke, and drawen from the breastes.
Al kiu li instruas scion, kaj al kiu li aŭdigas predikon? ĉu al forprenitaj for de lakto, al demamigitoj?
10 For precept must be vpon precept, precept vpon precept, line vnto line, line vnto line, there a litle, and there a litle.
Ĉar ordono post ordono, ordono post ordono; regulo post regulo, regulo post regulo; iom tie, iom ĉi tie.
11 For with a stammering tongue and with a strange language shall he speake vnto this people.
Per balbutantaj lipoj kaj per lingvo fremda Li parolos al ili,
12 Vnto whome hee saide, This is the rest: giue rest to him that is weary: and this is the refreshing, but they would not heare.
Tiu, kiu diris al ili: Jen estas ripozejo, lasu la laculon ripozi; kaj jen estas trankviligo; sed ili ne volis aŭskulti.
13 Therefore shall the worde of the Lord be vnto them precept vpon precept, precept vpon precept, line vnto line, line vnto line, there a litle and there a litle, that they may goe, and fall backward, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
Kaj aperos al ili la vorto de la Eternulo, ordono post ordono, ordono post ordono, regulo post regulo, regulo post regulo, iom tie, iom ĉi tie; por ke ili iru kaj falu dorsen kaj rompiĝu kaj enretiĝu kaj kaptiĝu.
14 Wherefore, heare the worde of the Lord, ye scornefull men that rule this people, which is at Ierusalem.
Tial aŭskultu la vorton de la Eternulo, vi, mokistoj, regantoj de tiu popolo, kiu estas en Jerusalem.
15 Because ye haue said, We haue made a couenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement: though a scourge runne ouer, and passe through, it shall not come at vs: for we haue made falshood our refuge, and vnder vanitie are we hid, (Sheol h7585)
Ĉar vi diras: Ni faris interligon kun la morto, kaj kun Ŝeol ni faris interkonsenton; kiam la frapanta vipo estos trapasanta, ĝi nin ne atingos, ĉar mensogon ni faris nia rifuĝejo kaj per malvero ni nin kovros. (Sheol h7585)
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will laye in Zion a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation. Hee that beleeueth, shall not make haste.
Pro tio tiele diris la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Jen Mi por fundamento kuŝigas ŝtonon en Cion, ŝtonon elprovitan, bazangulan, valoregan, fortikigitan fundamenton; la fidanto ne maltrankviliĝu.
17 Iudgement also will I laye to the rule, and righteousnesse to the balance, and the haile shall sweepe away the vaine confidence, and the waters shall ouerflowe the secret place.
Kaj Mi faros justecon la mezurŝnuro, kaj veron la vertikalo; kaj hajlo forbatos la rifuĝejon de mensogo, kaj la kaŝejon forportos akvo.
18 And your couenant with death shalbe disanulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand: when a scourge shall runne ouer and passe through, then shall ye be trode downe by it. (Sheol h7585)
Kaj forigita estos via interligo kun la morto, kaj via interkonsento kun Ŝeol ne teniĝos; kiam la frapanta vipo estos trapasanta, vi estos frakasata de ĝi. (Sheol h7585)
19 When it passeth ouer, it shall take you away: for it shall passe through euery morning in the day, and in the night, and there shalbe onely feare to make you to vnderstand the hearing.
Ĉiufoje, kiam ĝi trairos, ĝi kaptos vin; ĉar ĉiutage ĝi trairos, tage kaj nokte, kaj terura estos la klarigo, kiun ĝi donos.
20 For the bed is streight that it can not suffice, and the couering narowe that one can not wrappe himselfe.
Ĉar tro mallonga estos la lito, por sin etendi; kaj la litkovrilo estos tro mallarĝa, por sin enkovri.
21 For the Lord shall stand as in mount Perazim: hee shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his worke, his strage worke, and bring to passe his acte, his strange acte.
Ĉar la Eternulo leviĝos, kiel sur la monto Peracim, Li koleros, kiel en la valo Gibeona, por plenumi Sian faron, Sian eksterordinaran faron, kaj fari Sian laboron, Sian eksterordinaran laboron.
22 Nowe therefore be no mockers, least your bondes increase: for I haue heard of the Lord of hostes a consumption, euen determined vpon the whole earth.
Kaj nun ne moku, por ke viaj katenoj ne plifortiĝu; ĉar mi aŭdis, ke de la Sinjoro, la Eternulo Cebaot, tio estas neŝanĝeble decidita pri la tuta lando.
23 Hearken ye, and heare my voyce: hearken ye, and heare my speach.
Atentu, kaj aŭskultu mian voĉon; konsideru, kaj aŭskultu mian parolon.
24 Doeth the plowe man plowe all the day, to sowe? doeth he open, and breake the clots of his ground?
Ĉu ĉiutage la plugisto plugas por semado, sulkaranĝas kaj erpas sian kampon?
25 When he hath made it plaine, wil he not then sowe the fitches, and sowe cummin, and cast in wheat by measure, and the appointed barly and rye in their place?
Kiam li ebenigis ĝian supraĵon, li disŝutas ja nigelon kaj disĵetas kuminon kaj metas tritikon laŭ vicoj kaj hordeon en la difinitan lokon kaj spelton ĉe la limoj.
26 For his God doeth instruct him to haue discretion, and doeth teach him.
Tian ordon lernigis al li lia Dio, Li instruis lin.
27 For fitches shall not be threshed with a threshing instrument, neither shall a cart wheele be turned about vpon the cummin: but ye fitches are beaten out with a staffe, and cummin with a rod.
Ĉar ne per fera draŝilo oni draŝas nigelon, kaj oni ne rulas radon de ĉaro sur kumino; sed per bastono oni elbatas nigelon, kaj kuminon per vergo.
28 Bread corne when it is threshed, hee doeth not alway thresh it, neither doeth the wheele of his cart still make a noyse, neither will he breake it with the teeth thereof.
Greno estas draŝata; sed ne eterne oni ĝin draŝas; oni frapas ĝin per la rado de sia ĉaro, sed per siaj ĉevaloj oni ĝin ne dispremas.
29 This also commeth from the Lord of hostes, which is wonderfull in counsell, and excellent in workes.
Ankaŭ ĉi tio venas de la Eternulo Cebaot; mirinda estas Lia decido, granda estas Lia saĝeco.
