Isaiah 26
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Iudah, We haue a strong citie: saluation shall God set for walles and bulwarkes.
Naquele dia, esta canção será cantada na terra de Judá: “Temos uma cidade forte. Deus nomeia a salvação para paredes e baluartes.
2 Open ye the gates that the righteous nation, which keepeth the trueth, may enter in.
Abrir os portões, para que a nação justa possa entrar: o que mantém a fé.
3 By an assured purpose wilt thou preserue perfite peace, because they trusted in thee.
Você manterá a mente de quem quer que esteja em perfeita paz, porque ele confia em você.
4 Trust in the Lord for euer: for in the Lord God is strength for euermore.
Confiança em Yahweh para sempre; pois em Yah, Yahweh, é uma rocha eterna.
5 For hee will bring downe them that dwell on hie: the hie citie he will abase: euen vnto the ground wil he cast it downe, and bring it vnto dust.
Pois ele derrubou aqueles que moram nas alturas, a cidade alta. Ele o coloca baixo. Ele a coloca a um nível baixo até o chão. Ele o traz até mesmo para o pó.
6 The foote shall treade it downe, euen the feete of the poore, and the steppes of the needie.
O pé deve pisá-lo para baixo, mesmo os pés dos pobres e os passos dos necessitados”.
7 The way of the iust is righteousnesse: thou wilt make equall the righteous path of the iust.
O caminho do justo é a retidão. Vocês que são íntegros fazem o caminho do nível justo.
8 Also we, O Lord, haue waited for thee in the way of thy iudgemets: the desire of our soule is to thy Name, and to the remembrance of thee.
Sim, no caminho de seus julgamentos, Yahweh, esperamos por você. Seu nome e sua fama são o desejo de nossa alma.
9 With my soule haue I desired thee in the night, and with my spirit within mee will I seeke thee in the morning: for seeing thy iudgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learne righteousnesse.
Com minha alma eu o desejei durante a noite. Sim, com meu espírito dentro de mim, vou procurá-lo com seriedade; pois quando seus julgamentos estão na terra, os habitantes do mundo aprendem a retidão.
10 Let mercie bee shewed to the wicked, yet hee will not learne righteousnesse: in the land of vprightnesse will he do wickedly, and will not beholde the maiestie of the Lord.
Let favor seja mostrado aos malvados, mas ele não aprenderá a retidão. Na terra da retidão, ele tratará de forma errada, e não verá a majestade de Yahweh.
11 O Lord, they will not beholde thine hie hande: but they shall see it, and bee confounded with the zeale of the people, and the fire of thine enemies shall deuoure them.
Yahweh, sua mão está levantada, mas eles não vêem; mas eles verão seu zelo pelo povo e ficarão desapontados. Sim, o fogo consumirá seus adversários.
12 Lord, vnto vs thou wilt ordeine peace: for thou also hast wrought all our workes for vs.
Yahweh, você vai ordenar a paz para nós, pois você também fez todo o nosso trabalho por nós.
13 O Lord our God, other lords beside thee, haue ruled vs, but we will remember thee onely, and thy Name.
Yahweh nosso Deus, outros senhores além de vocês tiveram domínio sobre nós, mas só reconheceremos seu nome.
14 The dead shall not liue, neither shall the dead arise, because thou hast visited and scattered them, and destroyed all their memorie.
Os mortos não devem viver. Os espíritos que partiram não devem se levantar. Portanto, você os visitou e os destruiu, e fez com que toda a memória deles perecesse.
15 Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord: thou hast increased the nation: thou art made glorious: thou hast enlarged all the coastes of the earth.
Você aumentou a nação, ó Yahweh. Vocês aumentaram a nação! Você está glorificado! Você ampliou todas as fronteiras da terra.
16 Lord, in trouble haue they visited thee: they powred out a prayer when thy chastening was vpon them.
Yahweh, em apuros, eles o visitaram. Eles derramaram uma oração quando sua repreensão estava sobre eles.
17 Like as a woman with childe, that draweth neere to the trauaile, is in sorow, and cryeth in her paines, so haue we bene in thy sight, O Lord.
Just como uma mulher com criança, que se aproxima do momento de seu parto, está com dores e grita em suas dores, assim temos estado diante de você, Yahweh.
18 We haue coceiued, we haue borne in paine, as though we should haue brought forth winde: there was no helpe in the earth, neither did the inhabitants of the world fall.
Temos estado com crianças. Temos estado em sofrimento. Demos à luz, ao que parece, apenas ao vento. Não temos trabalhado em nenhuma entrega na terra; nem caíram os habitantes do mundo.
19 Thy dead men shall liue: euen with my body shall they rise. Awake, and sing, ye that dwel in dust: for thy dewe is as the dew of herbes, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Seus mortos devem viver. Seus cadáveres devem surgir. Despertai e cantai, vós que habitais na poeira; pois seu orvalho é como o orvalho das ervas, e a terra expulsará os espíritos que partiram.
20 Come, my people: enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doores after thee: hide thy selfe for a very litle while, vntill the indignation passe ouer.
Venham, meu povo, entrem em seus quartos, e feche suas portas atrás de você. Esconda-se por um pequeno momento, até que a indignação tenha passado.
21 For lo, the Lord commeth out of his place, to visite the iniquitie of the inhabitants of the earth vpon them: and the earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more hide her slaine.
Pois, eis que Yahweh sai de seu lugar para punir os habitantes da terra por sua iniqüidade. A terra também revelará seu sangue, e não mais cobrirá seus mortos.
