1 Oh, the lande shadowing with winges, which is beyond the riuers of Ethiopia,

2 Sending ambassadours by the Sea, euen in vessels of reedes vpon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation that is scattered abroade, and spoyled, vnto a terrible people from their beginning euen hitherto: a nation by litle and litle, euen troden vnder foote, whose land the floods haue spoyled.
Ala nke na-ezipụ ndị ozi ya site nʼosimiri, bụ ndị na-eji ụgbọ mmiri papịrọs nʼaga nʼelu mmiri. Gaanụ ngwangwa, unu ndị ozi dị nkọ gakwuru ndị toro ogologo nke ahụ ha na-akwọ mụrụmụrụ, gakwuru ndị a na-atụ egwu nʼebe niile, mba na-achọ okwu na ụka, nke na-azọpịakwa azọpịa, ndị osimiri dị iche iche kewara ala ha.
3 Al ye the inhabitants of ye world and dwellers in the earth, shall see when he setteth vp a signe in the mountaines, and when he bloweth the trumpet, ye shall heare.
Unu niile bi nʼelu ụwa dum, na unu ndị nwere ebe obibi nʼụwa, geenụ m ntị. Mgbe e buliri ọkọlọtọ elu nʼelu ugwu niile, lee anya; mgbe a fụrụ opi ike, gee ntị.
4 For so the Lord saide vnto me, I will rest and beholde in my tabernacle, as the heate drying vp the rayne, and as a cloude of dewe in the heate of haruest.
Nʼihi na ihe ndị a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị gwara m, “Aga m anọ jụụ na-elepụ anya site nʼebe obibi m, dịka mgbe igirigi na-ada nʼoge okpomọkụ nke owuwe ihe ubi, na dịka anyanwụ si acha nʼoge okpomọkụ.”
5 For afore the haruest when the floure is finished, and the fruite is riping in the floure, then he shall cut downe the branches with hookes, and shall take away, and cut off the boughes:
Nʼihi na tupu oge owuwe ihe ubi eruo, mgbe ifuru dapụsịrị, mgbe okoko na-aghọ mkpụrụ vaịnị nke ka na-achata achata, ọ ga-eji mma oge gbuchapụ ụmụ alaka ya, ọ ga-egbutu ma wezugakwa alaka ndị ahụ na-awasa awasa.
6 They shall be left together vnto the foules of the mountaines, and to the beastes of the earth: for the foule shall sommer vpon it, and euery beast of the earth shall winter vpon it.
A ga-ahapụ ozu ndị agha ha ka anụ ufe nke ugwu na ụmụ anụ ọhịa rie ha. Ụmụ nnụnụ ga-eri anụ ha nʼoge okpomọkụ, ma ụmụ anụ ọhịa ga-eri ha nʼoge oyi.
7 At that time shall a present be brought vnto the Lord of hostes, (a people that is scattered abroade, and spoyled, and of a terrible people from their beginning hitherto, a nation, by litle and litle euen troden vnder foote, whose land the riuers haue spoyled) to the place of the Name of the Lord of hostes, euen the mount Zion.

A ga-eweta onyinye a nʼUgwu Zayọn, nʼebe ahụ a na-akpọku aha Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile.
