Isaiah 15
1 The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
O fardo de Moab. Pois em uma noite, Ar de Moab é desperdiçado, e levado a nada. Pois em uma noite, Kir de Moab é desperdiçado, e levado a nada.
2 He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
Eles subiram para Bayith, e para Dibon, para os lugares altos, para chorar. Moab geme sobre Nebo e sobre Medeba. A calvície está em todas as suas cabeças. Toda barba é cortada.
3 In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
Em suas ruas, eles se vestem de pano de saco. Em suas ruas e em seus terraços, todos choram, chorando abundantemente.
4 And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
Heshbon grita com Elealeh. Sua voz é ouvida até mesmo para Jahaz. Portanto, os homens armados de Moab choram em voz alta. Suas almas tremem dentro deles.
5 Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
Meu coração clama por Moab! Seus nobres fogem para Zoar, para Eglath Shelishiyah; pois eles sobem pela subida de Luhith com choro; pois no caminho para Horonaim, levantam um grito de destruição.
6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
Pois as águas de Nimrim serão desoladas; pois a erva murchou, a tenra erva falha, não há coisa verde.
7 Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
Portanto, eles levarão a abundância que obtiveram, e a que armazenaram, sobre o riacho dos salgueiros.
8 For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
Pois o grito contornou as fronteiras de Moab, seu pranto a Eglaim, e seu pranto a Beer Elim.
9 Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
Pois as águas de Dimon estão cheias de sangue; pois trarei ainda mais sobre Dimon, um leão sobre os de Moab que escapam, e sobre o resto da terra.
